The room was very nice, with a view of the sea. I really enjoyed the wellness on the first day. I went to the restaurant and ate schnitzel, which was also very good.

Really lovely hotel, all of the staff offered great service, the room was a great standard and the view was amazing. Highly recommend upgrading to the deluxe room if you stay.

Great location, unfortunately a hotel in need of renovation with too many flaws: -Rooms: carelessly and haphazardly furnished. Artificial flowers, low-quality materials, fittings partly calcified, partly tarnished. -Spa: Saunas with a great view, but unfortunately completely without charm, not enough loungers, water is served in containers that are far too small and are always empty. One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

We spent our holiday in Scharbeutz with 4 generations and everyone felt completely at home at Bayside. Unbeatable location, the rooftop bar was amazing, the breakfast was a culinary highlight with a view of the Baltic Sea and the staff was extremely friendly. A truly superb hotel, deserving in every aspect of their 5-star rating. The rooms were spacious & comfortable (as was the bed!) and the balcony was lovely. The best kept secret in Scharbeutz. Wonderful hotel, but made even better by the most wonderful staff. The check in, the restaurant staff, the barman, all brilliant. Superb location, great food, and attached to the spa.

Even the though the rooms needed a bit of an update, the service was very friendly and it's very well located. You'll have direct access to the Ostsee Therme and to a private beach (pretty handy in COVID-19 times...). I also recommend the massage. ;)

Loved it, the service was excelent and you get treated like royalty, They have their own strawberry jam and marmelade, the hotel has a shore and a lake for the people staying on the hotel. I would really recommend it, if you are looking for a little bit of a nicer place you should definetly check this hotell out, the rooms were really nice and you get daily cleaning and room service if you want.

Had a really nice stay here and perfect for families with great facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Only drama are the lifts and check out is a mess. But we will learn for next time.

Room climate control non existent The Climate Control of the room was just non existent and the hotel is a bit worn. I would even say that it isn't worth the money that we paid for it.

Good hotel in nice surroundings Nice area by the golfcource. Large and good room. Breakfast very good. Nice terrace to have a glas of wine in the evening. Irritating having to order by your mobile or a screen. The bar didn't recommend any wine and asked us to look digitally. Maybe modern times. To sum it up, a nice place to stay.

2x 18 hole golf course and close location to the city and other activities

If you don't golf, we would not recommend staying at this property. When we arrived it was quite crowded and it was not easy to park. We had to get a second room, as the first one was a climb of several flights of stairs. The restaurant food was nothing to write home about. We stayed here thinking it would be convenient to the Travemunde ferry, which it was not. It was quite far away. Again,...

Bed and shower were good. Not able to make coffee or tea at the room. No microwave. No nothing: just showering and sleeping.

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

Close to the beach. Great place to stay when you’re in Timmendorfer Strand. Sometimes a bit pricey though.

This hotel is not exclusiv at all, not worth the money just because its near the beach and ocean. And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview. Hence I contacted the reservation and was told that I must have overlooked the comment. I told them, that my reservation clearly mentions seaview. After 5 minutes I was offered a different room with the request to pay 60 Euros...

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

We came from Canada to Germany for a wedding and wanted to have a few days to ourselves after 2 weeks of visiting with relatives. The room was as advertised and perfectly lovely. very dissapointed , outside temperature were 30 C Inside in the room Moore because no aircondition? open the window and lots of noise coming in , diificult to sleep when window open. no evening restauarang in hotel , good restaurangs close, nice beach and the pool is good, breaksfast so and so, good lodation but overprized heavily!

We checked in yesterday in the evening. Great service! Asked for an extra bed for my kid and besides the bed, the receptionist brought all sorts of extras including kids sized bath ropes and small pillows. Just made us feel very welcome!

Combine relaxation with City Sightseeing Great hotel with a great location. Near the ocean and only 25 min. away from Lübeck Altstadt. The perfect combination of a city holiday with relaxation. The spa was sadly closed due to environmental concerns. The pool was a bit too cold to relax in, it was more of an exercise pool. Two saunas, one with and one without bathing suits on. Dejlig hotel med venlig personale Dejligt hotel med virkelig venligt og serviceminded personale. Især i receptionen blev vi meget fint modtaget. Altid et smil og en hilsen. Fin pool, fin kåbe og strandhåndklæder til at låne. Tæt på stranden. Virkelig fin morgenmad med rigtig meget lækkert forskelligt mad og sekt. Eneste minus er at der ikke er mange p pladser på hotellet - så der er parkering...

Excellent stay in renovated hotel in Niendorf Welcoming stay at a renovated hotel. Friendly staff and large newly appointed room with balcony and sea view across the street. Very close to Niendorf harbour. Overall excellent stay and would certainly come again.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly! Everything was close by; only a few steps to the promenade. We had a great vacation time and will be back.

Great little hotel at the harbour promenade of Travelünde. The location is outstanding and only 7 mins from the beach - however you won’t feel the walk as you’re just passing by the sea and all the lovely restaurants and shops. A great location minutes to the beach from you room. Spa is great the hot tub is the only thing I can say was not great as it was very shallow. The relaxation pool was a way better option breakfast buffet is great with a huge selection best to arrive earlier as it gets busy

This was our second visit, we had a voucher to redeem, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The wellness area was great, the food was not bad, and staff were friendly throughout. However, checkout felt a bit impersonal — the receptionist didn’t ask about our experience and went straight to the invoice. For the room price, we expected a more thoughtful farewell.

Another fantastic weekend at the A-rosa FANTASTIC. However at bit wird when reception staff asks if we are on the right floor (penthouse)…. 🤔 …. Very nice classic hotel with wellness and mixed spa area. The surroundings have not much to offer. The bar area have an awful bad acoustic they have to do something about, as people cant either talk or even hear the music (a pianist when we where at the place) so most people lieve or go to ther room.

Top location, great view. The furnishings are a bit dated, especially noticeable in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good.
