Reviews
Everyone at the hotel was extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful. When I say that, I truly mean they were above average in their service and kindness.
We booked a pyramid view room that lived up to the expectation. It was a one bedroom apartment and therefore had lots of space. It was an inner unit so no windows or street noise but a little balcony area with the view. Unit was simple but water was hot and it was quiet despite being a busy area.
Breakfast was cheese, fruits, veggie, pastry and fresh fried falafel. Tea and coffee available 24 hours, as is the awesome roof terrace that faces 3 pyramids and the sphinx.
The hotel staff booked us a driver and guide on extremely short notice. Highly recommend as it seems difficult to navigate Giza/Cairo otherwise. We were able to pack a ton of things in our one day.
As for the area, we enjoyed it. Horses and camels and hustle and bustle all around. A few souvenir shops, lots of little markets, and some cool coffee shops. We walked around at night, i dont think everyone would feel safe doing so but we felt safe and everyone we came across was warm and smiling, even in the little back alleys.
Thank you for the great stay!
The entire staff consistently delivers an exceptionally high standard of service, characterized by seamless teamwork and thoughtful attention to even the smallest details. Particularly noteworthy is the breakfast, which features a daily rotation of local seasonal fruits and traditional confections—offering a delightful sense of novelty and pleasure each morning throughout my stays, which spanned three nights last year and five consecutive nights this year.
Moreover, the compassionate care shown toward the resident cats on the rooftop transcends conventional hospitality, leaving a profound impression on guests through its genuine kindness. It is precisely such heartfelt consideration that embodies the hotel’s true essence—its warmth of spirit and refined character.
Additionally, I am deeply grateful for the drivers’ attentive and courteous service, whether for airport transfers or transportation to requested destinations. Their thoughtfulness extends beyond mere professionalism; they intuitively sense guests’ preferences and offer thoughtful, tailored suggestions—truly an embodiment of gracious hospitality.
I even saw a few other travellers facing the same issue. Some of them ended up rebooking through Booking.com on the spot—at nearly triple the price.
I’m not sure whether this is an intentional scam or a genuine system error, because even when I called Agoda, they couldn’t identify the problem—the hotel was the only one insisting on it.
That said, the rooftop view in this area is stunning. Honestly, almost every hotel or guesthouse nearby has the same view—you can clearly see the pyramids. The real things you need to consider are the price and the cleanliness of the room. Most of the buildings are quite old and a bit dirty, so don’t expect luxury, just focus on value and hygiene.
Both the young staff and the shuttle drivers spoke fluent English, so communication was very easy.
Unfortunately, I never saw the older staff members (not including a chef) working; I only saw them playing on their smartphones. Perhaps the older staff may not even be necessary🫢.
The area around the hotel is not very safe, and many people can be rather rude. However, if you ask, one of the young hotel staff members will accompany you, and in that case, you won’t be bothered by persistent solicitors.
To the young staff—thank you so much. I had a wonderful time. Please do get in touch if you ever come to Japan👍. I sincerely hope you continue to carry yourselves with honesty and integrity throughout your lives.
Free airport collection from Cairo International was a lovely bonus as we're the seemingly unlimited bottles of water whenever you wanted them.
We had a 2 bed suite for the 4 of us. Bathrooms were good (shower gel and shampoo included) and we specifically picked one of the rooms without windows and the noise from the surrounding area wasn't a problem at all. If you want a view it's a 30 second walk to the roof to see it. Also, you get to watch the sound and light show from free!
Yes, the area is busy but feels completely safe and in reality the hassle from the street sellers is no different to luxor or aswan.
They could charge so much more for this place (but thankfully they don't!)
Best view in Giza!
Room smelled of smoke and there was dust on several surfaces.
Restaurant staff was rather unattentive and they played far too loud trap music to go along with the otherwise pristine sunset view of the pyramids.
Breakfast passable.
But nice view from the rooftop and right next to the Pyramids entrance, which is convenient to make the most out of our time.
