Fabulous stay. Best breakfast buffet. Wonderful service all around. Huge rooms. The grounds/gardens are a safe haven from the intensity of Luxor. Right across from the marina and Nile. Perfect starting location for our felucca sunset cruise and Balloon sunrise flight. They'll make a breakfast box for early mornings. Beautiful pool that sadly closes at sunset. The laundry service was great. Walking distance to everything if you can get people to leave you alone and let you walk. It's easier to pay $2 for a carriage ride. Bank right beside the Winter Palace entrance has a guarded room of ATMs. We had trouble with the ones inside WP. Thankful for the security entrance.

The hotel is in a great location for getting to Luxor Temple and the museums. The pool is also great for relaxing after getting up early to see the sights. The rooms are VERY dated and feels like staying in a 3 star hotel. Could do with some renovations.

I strongly recommend this Amazing hotel. Loved it sooooo much. The rooms are so big and comfortable with wonderful view of flowery garden. The service and staff are top proffetional. The breakfast in the morning at the garden is just perfect and the price is very reasonable.

Good to return for my annual stay at the Winter Pavillon, everything was perfect as usual.
An enjoyable breakfast to start my day, a nicely furnished room with good wifi connection for my work, and wonderful, well maintained gardens.

The hotel is in a good location next to the Luxor Temple. The staffs are always friendly and welcoming. What I particularly liked was the breakfast. It had a good variety and started from as early as 5:30AM. It allowed us to have a early start and avoided some heat during the middle of the day.

One thing to note is that there were a lot of people at the main entrance trying to sell you something. If you want to avoid the hassle, you can search for “Winter Palace Pavillon Parking entrance” on Google Map to go through the back door when you are arriving by car or leaving by your own taxi.

I would rather rank this hotel as 4 star Egyptian standard, as it is half cheaper than Winter Palace. You can see this hotel is a bit worn, but having price around $55 it is quite nice. anyway the best part of staying here is the amazing royal garden, this is impressive. Swimming pool is also gorgeous, deep and 25m lengths.
Breakfast is not impressive, but enough.
Service is very professional.
Hotel is almost in city center, you can easily go to city, there is many local places to eat or drink juices nearby for quarter the price of hotel prices. Just definitly avoid and ignore touts, taxi and carriages, they are scam.
This place is much much more better any other mass All-inclusive options, there is no many people on pool, it is quiet and calm, no any animations, no music, you can rest and relax perfectly.

Beautiful gardens and pool. Room was clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and courteous. The food leaves a lot to be desired.

The service is great. The waiters, receptionists - everyone was super nice and welcoming. The views and the landscapes in the inner yard are beautiful. But that’s probably it. Everything else leaves much to be desired. The hotel itself is super old and hasn’t been renovated for quite a bit. The food... Honestly, the breakfast are really bad for this level of hotel. The worst were the flies which were literally “attacking” during the breakfast.

Trying hard to live up to its erstwhile splendour during difficult financial and political times. I hope it can get back to its romantic colonial past soon...absolutely lovely place

I loved it. It's a genuine oasis. Extensive gardens and my room had a large bedroom and bathroom. Staff very professional and attentive. The pictures in the lobby were a bit faded to I was initially apprehensive but it was a diamond in the rough. Excellent pool and room service and extensive manicured gardens
