Great room and staff. Locations slightly south of main attraction. Great view of the Nile river. 400 Egyptian pound breakfast buffet reasonable.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Luxor! The location was perfect for exploring the city's main attractions, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a great visit. Would definitely stay here again!

We were here only for lunch. The atmosphere is very nice and the location directly at the Nile is amazing. The food is good. The service is good as well, although it was bit hectic and payment wasn’t that easy.

We’ve been here just for the lunch while we were visiting Luxor’s temple: the hotel itself is situated on the Nile, having a pool by the river. The lunch was good yet, since we weren’t actual hosts of the hotel, the waiters were a bit rude with us, forcing us to sit in a specific zone and hurrying us to leave the table while still eating. Nonetheless this hotel seems nice for it guests.

Steigenberger has to be one of the best hotels I lodged during my stay in Egypt. Really friendly staff, their service was top notch, the ambience was just amazing and the rooms were really neat and functional. I had a view overlooking the Nile. I loved every bit of my stay here. ☺️ Would definitely recommend their establishment

Best value for money on my trip to Egypt! A place away from the hustle and bustle, with a magnificent view of the Nile, well-groomed grounds. Tidy room, comfortable mattress and pillows, good bed linen (for those who know).

We originally checked in to one of the bungalow rooms and the room was very dirty and old. We had to clean the dirt out of the shower ourselves.. The next day we asked to switch to a room inside the main hotel building which was much more modern and actually clean. The location is very nice on the Nile and has 2 good swimming pools. Note that the bars/restaurants on site are VERY expensive compared to other hotels in the area. They charge in USD whereas other hotels charge in EGP and are roughly 1/4 of the price

Nice sheltered environment from the hectic Luxor. Staff are really wonderful and I had a great time both in my room, at the pools, in the lobby, restaurants, and looking over the fantastic view of the sun setting on the Nile. Additionally the hotel has its own dock, so you can take trips direct from the hotel if you wish.
Breakfast buffet is recommended.
