An incredible choice for Luxor, clean, terrific location for sites & market, unbelievably helpful staff, fantastic views from the restaurant. Their taxi service to the airport is one of the cheapest, safest and most reliable around. Budget $2-$3 for someone to take your bags to your room, as there is no lift. Highly recommended!

I would rate Hotel Nefertiti 5 stars overall. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, which really makes the stay pleasant. The rooftop terrace with the restaurant is just wonderful, delicious food at very reasonable prices, paired with an amazing view.
On the downside, breakfast could be improved — the choice is quite small and repetitive, and the bread is a bit on the sweet side. The highlight, however, is the omelet freshly made by the chef every morning.
The location is another big plus, right in the center of the city, surrounded by many bazaars, and only about a 7–8 minute walk to the train station. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay: towels, a hairdryer, and a good bed.
All in all, for a budget-friendly trip where you plan to travel and move around a lot, I think Hotel Nefertiti is a really great choice.

Lovely hotel, perfect location extremely kind and helpful staff. Rooms are on the smaller side but very comfortable and local decoration. Recommend staying here.
Charming restaurant on the rooftop with tasty but slightly overpriced food, no shisha and no beer. The hotel’s own tour agency (or the agency that they promote at check in) Magic Carpet is blatantly overpriced.

10/10 We had such a lovely stay here.
The location is as great as the reviews say.
The staff were friendly and always on hand for anything we needed. They were always busy with room cleaning or food prep and serving. The place doesn't seem to sleep.
Food was nice and complimentary breakfast has everything you could want.
Roof top is a great asset and you can see why its rated a Top place to either stay or drop by for food.
We booked a full day private tour of key sites in Luxor through Magic Carpet (which is their travel agents / experience bookings at the hotel - literally in the entrance / lobby!)
We had a lovely tour guide call Rania who was really knowledgeable and had great energy.
They're really great at arranging anything you want with not much notice and the prices are very reasonable.
We booked airport transfers through them too (shout out to the lovely Ahmed Abdel Raheem - great driver and really helpful with local info plus great English)

The room wasn't big; it was a bit cramped for two people with their suitcases. However, the room was clean and cozy, showing that some thought had been put into its design and decor. The staff were also very helpful; they emailed me to ask when I would arrive after I booked the hotel. The restaurant upstairs has a view of the Nile River, and there are also restaurants downstairs, which is very convenient. It's also convenient for visiting various attractions in the Valley of the Kings.

We stayed for 2 nights, we arrived in the morning by bus, then at the check-in we were still able to have a wonderful breakfast for 250EGP / person
And maybe we were lucky but, around 11am our room was ready

During our stay we had a problem at restaurant (we were scammed), and the receptionist went with us and helped us get some of our money back.
Please book your stay with this kind and honest people.

We stayed at Nefertiti Hotel for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent just a short walk from Luxor Temple and the souq, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The view of the Nile from the hotel is beautiful, especially from the rooftop.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Nefertiti Hotel in Luxor, and we highly recommend it! The location is perfect, just across from the magnificent Luxor Temple. We especially loved the rooftop restaurant, which provided stunning views of both the temple and the Nile. The Egyptian food served there was absolutely delicious.
Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Everyone was incredibly friendly and eager to help. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.
