The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of fresh options, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I had a small accident with my son—he dropped all his clothes in the water right before bath time, and we were leaving the next day. The staff kindly took his clothes, dried them, and returned them right away. That kind of service really made a difference.
I truly have nothing but good things to say. Great value, amazing service, and a perfect stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona!
Negatives: AC barely worked, beds are uncomfortable and loud, the shared door between bedrooms means you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing, the shower water was intermittently warm.
Don’t come here thinking you are getting modern luxuries. The photos make it look like it is way more comfortable than it actually is.
Both rooms had oddly designed bathrooms, and water from the shower spread everywhere. Additionally, the hotel is quite a bit farther from the city center, and the clientele is mostly business travelers. A nice perk, though, was the rooftop. The drinks are overpriced, but the view of the city and beach was a nice touch.
If you're looking to be closer to the heart of the city and want a more relaxed, down-to-earth experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
No water in the lobby. We had a lady when we arrived and when we checked in at reception both not very nice.
Location was a bit far from the city center further then we had anticipated. We walked to the city center 45-1 hr
Hop on hop off bus did come close to the hotel which was helpful
The 3 stars is based on comparable Marriotts. We are only staying at Marriotts during our vacation.
The hotel truly captured the romance and warmth of Barcelona, adding a magical touch to my celebration. The attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff were remarkable. Additionally, the hotel’s pool was excellent and provided a perfect place to unwind. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to my friends. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable and for providing such an exceptional experience!
