The 257 rooms at NH Madrid Zurbano were recently renovated in 2015 and are finished in comfortable neutral colors. Some of the Suites come with lovely terraces and many offer views over the Paseo de la Castellana. Free Wi-Fi is available in every room and throughout the hotel. Secondly, it doesn’t state anywhere that the minibar in the room (which was poorly stocked) is not complimentary. We asked staff on the first day and they said it was free. But of course, when we checked out I was hit with a 50 pound charge. 50 pound for a few bottles of coke and water and 2 packs of Oreo’s? As our Uber was waiting to take us to the airport I didn’t have time to argue.
I will not be staying here again, it all seemed very scammy towards tourists and I felt like they were trying to get money out of us in all ways possible. It isn’t even close to anything and it’s not really 4 star standard. It’s a shame as Madrid is beautiful but my experiences in this hotel left a lot to be desired
As our daughter’s condition worsened, Alicia ensured that a doctor was sent to our room. Thanks to the timely medical attention and medication, our daughter recovered and was able to enjoy the concert we had been looking forward to for months.
Juan and Alicia went above and beyond to assist us during a difficult time, and we are deeply grateful for their kindness and professionalism. We highly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff at NH Zurbano. Thank you so much!!
In addition to the staff, the rooms were cleaned, and the hotel is just a block away from the metro station. There is a restaurant in the premises, they too were able to prepare a special meal for my daughter.
