Mariposa Hotel Malaga

Very helpful staff. Good communication. Good breakfast, the best, bread. Very quiet. One downside? Maybe the mattress is a bit soft for my taste.

Really like the building both externally and internally, instantly recognisable on the street from the plants coming out from the hotel. Service from the reception staff was great. Hotel generally felt very clean. Room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Roof terrace felt very cool and was a great place to relax before going out on the evening.
Only fault was that the bar on the roof terrace was closed both nights we were there despite it saying online that it was open.

We stayed 4 nights in this lovely hotel. The position was perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The hotel room was gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were first class - nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was just right. Would definitely recommend and stay again

We loved our stay at the Mariposa Hotel. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size and spotlessly clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The rooftop bar was great to relax with a beer at the end of the day. The hotel is centrally located which was great for getting around, and is just a few minutes walk from the metro to the airport. Will happily rebook when we visit Malaga again.

Superb hotel in every way. Got train from airport to city centre station then a 5 minute walk. Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Great location, short walk or taxi ride to port if you are going on a cruise as we were.

A really nice hotel in a great location. Soho is a lovely district with plenty of good bars and restaurants. The marina and seafront are only 20 minutes walk.
The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Good on-site facilities. Highly recommend for a stay in Málaga.

A nice hotel just in the city centre. Basic infrastructure, nice design.
Good parking lot, although very narrow.
Service is good and welcoming.

We stayed here 4 weeks ago and had a very pleasant stay! Great location and friendly staff! Our room was very big, way beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet has plenty to offer. The lady working in the breakfast area is so sweet and always greeted us with a smile. I struggled with the Wifi in the beginning, but I was able to sort it out quickly when I checked with the reception. The room doesn't have an iron/iron stand, but the reception will provide them to you when you make a request. Regarding the location, the beach is a good 10-15 minutes walk, so take a cab if you aren't up for it. Plenty of places to eat/shop nearby. The reception is very helpful in giving directions, and will also provide you with a map to help you get to all the touristy areas.

We wanted to visit other Andalusian cities and the hotel arranged a car service for us. The man driving us (Oscar) was a very nice guy, and he took us to Granada, Seville, and Cordoba on different days. He would drop us right back at the hotel after. So please, if you are having trouble making arrangements to visit neighboring cities, please check with reception and they can try and work things out for you.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel!
