Hotel Basilica

It is such a pleasure when you go to another country and can stay at a hotel as nice as Basilica!

The hotel is located perfectly, and it's beautifully designed, but the staff makes the entire difference. Everyone who we ever came in contact with was just so friendly, helpful and professional. From the concierge crew, to the wonderful breakfast service, to the cleaning team. Truly fantastic.

Upon arrival we were greeted by an entire attentive team, we were treated to a welcome drink of Cava as we waited for our rooms to be ready. The staff made sure that we had all we needed and went far and beyond to answer all questions and offered all help.

Our family rented 3 rooms, which were all nicely sized, with very clever closets (that can fit much more than you'd think), very clean and had fantastic large windows overlooking the ... Basilica.

The rooftop has a pool and an incredible view. It's small but perfectly fine, especially for sunset after a day of sightseeing.

The architecture of the hotel is truly beautiful, the breakfast room feels like you're dining in a basilica. The food is great, there are buffet options and you can order eggs different styles from the kitchen.

All of us - 6 people of different ages and expectations loved Hotel Basilica and I couldn't recommend it enough!

My friend and I have had the most wonderful 10 nights over Christmas. Service second to non with Miguel shining through with his welcoming smile and always there to help in every way, together with all the staff.
Rooms are beautiful with all the amenities you could need. Spotlessly cleaned every day.
Great location and fabulous recommendations for nearby restaurants. We will certainly return to this magnificent hotel.

We’ve stayed for 5 days during the Christmas break at Hotel Basilica and we can that we have received outstanding service in all levels! From a wonderful greeting with Champagne and coffee and our bags whisked away to lovely smiles and warms welcomes whenever you appear in reception, particularly Miguel who was fantastic. Nothing is ever too much for the team.

The rooms are super clean, light and contemporary and have all the amenities you need. The roof terrace has a gorgeous little pool area with amazing views of the city and the bar area is gorgeous place to sit and have a glass of wine when you’re done for the day. We will absolutely be back and cannot recommend enough.

This hotel is PERFECTION! if you're looking for the best accommodations in Palma, this is THE hotel to book, I promise you will not be disappointed. The location, the Aesthetic, and the architecture is extraordinary but most importantly you will not find better service. The staff here are incredible, they provided us with the most amazing birthday experience and I only wish we had more time to spend here. A special thank you to Blanca and Javier, they both went above and beyond and truly made it an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be back, THANK YOU!

Wow! The perfect place to stay in Palma. We visited for a long weekend in November 2024. The staff were so friendly and helpful - it was a pleasure to get to know Blanca, Luci and to also see Miguel every morning at breakfast!
The rooms were clean and ideal for a long weekend break. It is in a perfect location to explore all areas of Palma and has a great cafe and restaurant on the same street. The rooftop area is a lovely place to relax away from the city with an amazing view too. Highly recommended staying here!

We were staying to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the service was absolutely fantastic! We were even gifted a glass of fizz upon arrival and the hotel had kindly left a bottle and cake in our room too.

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and modern with a boutique feel. It’s a short walk from various bars, restaurants and shops and around a 15 minute walk to the marina. The rooftop pool was excellent with views of the cathedral and because the hotel is small, it was always quiet and very relaxing!

The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful!! We will definitely be returning!!!

From the moment we entered the staff at Hotel Basilica made you feel so welcome and special! Miguel greeted us with a handshake and glasses of champagne while they got us checked in. The hotel itself is beautiful and situated right next to an old basilica with views from the rooftop. It is in a perfect location in the city of Palma, within walking distance to restaurants and shops but just enough away from that all for a quiet night of sleep. Our room was perfect for the few days we were there - the tile on the flooring, the juliette balcony with views of the city, ceiling fan, mini fridge and the shower was excellent! The small rooftop pool was perfect after a day of exploring Palma. We had the hotel breakfast one morning it had everything you needed and was delicious. We both were so sad leaving the Hotel Basilica and said we would recommend it to anyone! We can't wait to come back and stay again, thank you Miguel and team for a wonderful stay!

We spent a lovely week at this wonderful hotel in the old quarter of Palma with a nice roof top plunge pool to cool off after a hot day. The staff make you feel very welcome and helpful. Beautiful styled room (101) with a nice size bathroom with Molton Brown products (Nice touch). The room had a small balcony overlooking the street opposite the Basilica. The hotel is very close to all amenities and the beach isn't that far either. In my opinion, very well worth the money for a restful break.

We had an incredible time at this gem of a hotel in the heart of old Palma! From the moment we walked through the front door, the staff made us feel welcome with a warm greeting and cold glasses of cava.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and well air conditioned. Beds were comfortable and the pillow menu and complimentary drinks in the mini bar were a nice touch!

Breakfast was delicious with hot omelets or crepes made to order as well as a wide selection of cereals, pastries and fruits.

The rooftop pool is small but has excellent views of the sunset over the waterfront and Cathedral.

The location was superb and we were able to walk to many excellent restaurants, shops and the waterfront easily.

Special shout-out to Abel for helping us find an excursion when our plans fell through! He really went above and beyond in helping us find a last minute substitute. Thank you, Abel!!

Overall, we had an incredible stay and would stay at Hotel Basilica again in a heartbeat. It is easily on par with other 5 star boutique hotels we have stayed at around the world.

I booked here after having a disaster at another hotel. The booking process was super easy and when I called on the phone the reception team were so helpful. Upon checking in I was offered a glass of bubbly whilst they sorted out the room and keys which was relaxing. The room itself was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bed was made perfectly everyday. The amenities were fantastic too. They really cared about how the room looked when you returned, it was always flawless. I loved the whatsapp feature for ordering drinks and when I was unwell on my last night they were really helpful with leaving some food outside my room. The pool are and bar is beautiful too, great cocktails, super friendly staff. Would love to come again.
