Another lovely stay at The Portixol Hotel. The staff are wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. We had a nice meal in the bar area and an excellent meal in the restaurant celebrating my husband’s milestone birthday with all of our family. Jamie went out of his way to make the evening special. Many thanks. The location of this hotel and the amenities are excellent. We feel like we are coming home when we walk in the door!

We had dinner and unfortunateoy it was a big disappointment. We had a daily special, a tuna burger with sweet potatoes. I asked to exchange the sweet patatoes for fries. When the burger came it came with sweet patatoes but with the message that i woukd get both as they always serve it with sweet patatoes. The tuna burger was dry, overbaked and tasted like a defrozen burger. Far from a juicy fresh piece of tuna. The sauce was sour and the burger was uneatable due to a lot of lettuce and onion on top. The fries were under baked still leaving it the frozen patato structure on the inside. We also ordered a thai curry which was tasteless. The curry and vegetables had most likely been prepared sperately leaving it to taste as a mismatch. Taken into account the steep prices they ask the quality leaves a lot to be desired. On a postive note. Absolutely love the design of the hotel, have been visting for years. Next time only for a drink. No dinner.

The TOP! Superb hotel, excellent location, very friendly and efficient staff, from the receptionist (a plus for Sofia) to the housekeepers, not forgetting the catering and service, and a great deal of intention throughout the stay. Truly, a superb destination.

It is Friday 18th October and I wanted to have lunch, if possible outsight. I had no reservation. It was not busy in the restaurant. They told me after a long waiting time I could come back in 20 minutes and should go to the bar for drinks. There I had to ask three times a waiter for a drink…. I have been a fan of that restaurant for a long time….. after today I am not sure whether I should have that disappointing experience again. What a shame because the food is excellent, unfortunately the service not. Sabine

We're regular guests at Hotel Portixol for 20 years now and it is an amazing place to be for us. Nice location, beautyfull Hotel and splendid staff. Innovative kitchen with some classics on top. We will return. Irene and Charles from Luxembourg.

This is the first time we have stayed here. The rooms are fantastic, well decorated and bathrooms are top notch! The views we had from the sea room were breathtaking. This is a lovely boutique hotel and we found all of the staff very helpful in sorting out bikes, restaurants etc The location is exceptional and we love the Portixol/El Molinar area. To go running and be able to cycle into Palma is amazing. Breakfast was really tasty and to be honest I am surprised this is not a 5 star hotel. We will be back!!

It has been a few weeks now since I visited, and I am longing to return. We had such a lovely stay here in room 10, with a fabulous view of the sea and large terrace. It was such a treat. Staff was incredibly friendly both at reception and the restaurant. We were able to completely relax and unwind, and found the neighborhood restaurants to be very good as well…which meant not having to go into Palma. The pool was fantastic and for the most part quite calm. Some people were out early to reserve their beds by the pool, which I find quite rude. However with our own terrace we were quite happy. There is also a gym…a little small but clean and good quality equipment. I prefered the morning jog along the water. The room was perfect with quiet A/C and amazingly comfortable bed. We slept wonderfully. I understand now why people come here year after year. A gem of a place!

We came as a family (2 parents with 5 grow up kids); between us we had the port House and 2 double rooms - all were great. We loved the roof terrace and jacuzzi at the port House! The breakfast was really great (try the omelettes, made fresh to order, and the chocolate granola) and the staff so friendly. The bar did a fab g&t and it was lovely to sit out on the deck by the pool at sunset before dinner. The area is lovely too within easy walking distance of Palma and lots of lovely restaurants and bars within the immediate area too. Can’t wait to go back.

THE BEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD! Staff are friendly family will always love I go here every birthday and they always do something fun. Nice bedrooms lovely pool amazing food nice seats nice bar. Good location (near the beach!). I love how they treat you like family nice vibes and free bowl of SWEETS!/candy if American.
