Ohtels Villa Dorada

The hotel's location is excellent, being very close to the beach and other tourist attractions, which was a major plus. However, our room was near an Irish pub, and the noise at night from drunk people shouting, fighting, and laughing, as well as the sound of glass bins being emptied, made it hard to sleep peacefully.

The hotel itself was okay—it’s a 3-star establishment, so we weren’t expecting luxury. However, our room had some disappointing cleanliness issues upon arrival. There were stains on the curtains and bed, and the bathroom was dirty, with limescale buildup on the sink, and underneath it looked awful. On the bright side, the cleaning staff was lovely and always cleaned our room daily when we requested it.

The reception staff, unfortunately, were not helpful at all. We even had a few euros go missing, but I decided not to argue as we were on holiday and didn't want to spoil the mood. A tourist fee of 2 euro was required when we arrived, which is standard. We also rented a beach towel for 10 euro, which was returned when we handed the towel back. You can swap the towel for a clean one every day, which was convenient and without any additional cost.

As for the food, it was a mixed experience. Breakfast and dinner offered the same dishes, and while the lunch food was quite delicious, some items were not fresh and tasted a bit old. There was a live cooking station for steak and eggs, which was a nice touch. However, the drinks at the bar were disappointing, as we didn’t enjoy them at all. But considering the all-inclusive price was quite cheap, we weren’t expecting top-quality beverages.

Overall, the stay was manageable, and you get what you pay for. The hotel is decent for its price range, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Hotel was clean rooms had clean towels daily although sheets were never changed for the whole 11 days floors under the beds were never swept.
Food was good but repetative, reception staff were really nice , bar staff not so much although fine if you were spanish. Floor around the pool was lethal when wet, saw quite a few people falling..
