Bath room needs improvement for renviation . Hair dryer too old

Great location very close to the beach, with a great view of the sea. Compared to other hotels, the service here is very poor. Always a 5+ person queue at the reception, and very slow service for even things like beach towels. The first two mornings here, the cleaning staff let themselves into the room at 8am whilst shouting “housekeeping!” Not a nice way to wake up whilst on a relaxing holiday....

The restaurant is very nice and cute. The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious. The Steve Molinari fish soup was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The portions are generous: we ordered one tasting menu and, for the other person, a starter and a main dish — and we both ended up full. The staff was very friendly and professional. This is a not miss restaurant in Nice! The staff are just next level amazing and everyone was so helpful for my dairy and gluten allergy. They brought our gluten free bread and even made me a special dessert. Highly recommend!

The hotel was in a really good location which was a short walk from Port Lympia and Nice Riquier station if you want to get to Monaco. The old town was also close by. A fantastic place to stay in Nice. The hotel lobby is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, the pool has a fun vibe with great music, and the rooms are very spacious. The Windsor Jungle Art Hotel was a great spot for visiting Nice. Close to the promenade and in the Carré D’or neighborhood. The staff is very accommodating and serves a nice breakfast in the garden. Not big variety in breakfast, always tables waiting for cleaning during breakfast. For the daily price we pay it's not acceptable that they charge the sun bed in the beach.

Environment: The only advantage is that it is close to the sea. The balcony has a sea view, which is very beautiful on a sunny day. Service: I ordered milk tea on the day of check-in, but I didn’t finish it and left it in the room and went out for an afternoon. When I came back at night, I found that the hotel service staff had entered the room and thrown away the milk tea?

The pictures advertised for the room that we booked didn’t match the real room that we received. Instead of a cute little terrace, we got a weird half window. They tried to make us pay for an upgrade. I don’t understand why I have to pay for an upgrade when we didn’t receive a proper room to begin with. Leaving it after a night stay. Perfect experience! The sea view is super beautiful. I also tried swimming and sauna in the hotel. It was really a bit too happy. The hotel is in a very good location, opposite the sea.

I have a lot of praise for this hotel, especially its service. I had a spare phone, a relatively new one, which fell on the bed. I had already checked out and left my luggage at the hotel. We’d definitely recommend. The location is great, giving a nice balance between the old town and beach, without costing too much. The breakfast was very nice and generous. The staff were very friendly. The room was modern and clean. Ending the night at the rooftop bar was nice. The area was safe with some nice restaurants nearby in case you don’t want to go to the old town.

Our room was okay - definitely a bit small and could use some updating and TLC. The carpet also appeared a bit dirty, but luckily we had brought slippers which we wore in the room. Staff were great in all areas. Our room had not been cleaned properly, there was trash behind the curtain. The room was dated. Stayed a week in September. Perfect in every way. Room was comfortable. Location very near bus and tram stops. Only 10 minutes walk from Place Garibaldi Staff were superb especially Ksenia on the front desk who gave excellent advice and explained how to use the trams and buses. We booked this property because it had airport shuttle only to find out upon arrival it is not working. Although hotel is in walking distance to airport, we had a lot of luggage and had to get a taxi to take us. Was told their shuttle is electric and does not working often. This is my second time in Nice. I like this city very much. The train station is next to the hotel and you can go directly to the city center in 8 minutes. You can also take the tram to the city center, which is very convenient.

Clean, good shower , very friendly check in. We’re advised of the closest tourist stops to visit. Reasonably priced for Nice. My only complaint would be that the AC wasn’t very powerful as it was hot in Nice at the time.

It is a nice place to stay. Philippe was very nice at the reception, he even took his time to explain us where we should check out during the stay. His suggestions were spot on. The hotel is small and cozy. I will definitely go back there again.

Best thing about the hotel is it’s location. Otherwise it is an old hotel. ROOMS are spacious but do offer basic amnesties like water kettle. Parking through the hotel is not advised at all. At the same cost one can park on the road and avoid the hassle of driving down 3 floors in an underground private car park. Also you have to deposit the key back every time you take or drop off your car.

Probably the best decision to stay here in Nice...bigger rooms, central location and the Manuela made our stay most memorable with all her help and assistance. Among the best choice of hotels better than some 4 star hotels also.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were AMAZING! The rooms were very clean. The location was ideal. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great hotel with class. Room was comfortable and private patio was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay. Only downside is it is a little ways from downtown and it wasn't the easiest to find.

Great price, lovely helpful staff and great pool. It's not near the town centre but is near the airport. For a few days peace and quiet by a pool with good sleep in a city it was great.

The best in this place is the location and the attention of the staff, they were so helpful and nice to us. The hotel has old decoration and ambience. The rooms a little bit to simple but we have very good sleep the 3 days we stay. So I can't say negative things in there.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice freshly renovated rooms. I suggest they refill your refreshments (tea/coffee) daily, not just upon request. Superb location! Breakfast is a bit poor, some interesting food options (as different types of cheese, fruits, nuts) could be added as well.

It was wonderful. It was very clean. I recommend a room with a bath. You can go to many places within walking distance. The hotel always smelled good near the front desk. They bake bread in the hotel. There was a female staff member who could speak Japanese. I asked this hotel to make a reservation for a local restaurant before I left Japan, and they responded quickly and kindly.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, cosy and nicely designed with a comfy bed and chairs to lounge in.

The hotel is nicely furnished and designed. The AC was not working properly in our room so Cesar at the front desk upgraded us to a bigger room with functional AC. The breakfast was excellent. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend the Gounod for a visit to Nice.

The room is clean and tidy, the front desk and cleaning staff are very enthusiastic, but the room is small, the lighting is poor, the partitions and decorative panels in the room have a pungent smell, I don't know what materials they are made of.

The hotel's location is indeed not comparable to those by the sea, but I like this hotel very much. It is not too far to walk to the old town. The overall decoration is very comfortable, and there are many freshly made choices for breakfast. What surprised me most was their service. Every staff member was very considerate and made me feel pleasantly taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel.
