Bath room needs improvement for renviation . Hair dryer too old

Great location very close to the beach, with a great view of the sea. Compared to other hotels, the service here is very poor. Always a 5+ person queue at the reception, and very slow service for even things like beach towels. The first two mornings here, the cleaning staff let themselves into the room at 8am whilst shouting “housekeeping!” Not a nice way to wake up whilst on a relaxing holiday....

Avocado tartar 3/5 stars - the chef mix the soft and unriped hard avocado so I think that’s not so professional for this top famous hotel Fish soup- 4/5 stars. Their signature dish but I had much better fish soup. Their coutons were very hard and soup was a bit too salty. View was nice but can’t say amazing because you see the streets and the cars

The restaurant is very nice and cute. The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious. The Steve Molinari fish soup was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The portions are generous: we ordered one tasting menu and, for the other person, a starter and a main dish — and we both ended up full. The staff was very friendly and professional. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Our server Emelie (I hope that’s right) was fabulous! We had a great night. We are from Germany and can’t speak French but we we were all working together to make it work. Thank you Emelie! This is a not miss restaurant in Nice! The staff are just next level amazing and everyone was so helpful for my dairy and gluten allergy. They brought our gluten free bread and even made me a special dessert. Highly recommend!

Travel to Nice and visited here 2 times ! Really love it !! The food is amazing and same as the service and atmosphere! Even though second visit the service personnel made some mistakes, but the manager and other personnel immediately came over to apologize and gave us some nice cocktails from the house !! Staff were friendly and everything was very clean. The views from the roof are amazing. The location was convenient for us: 10 minutes from the train station where we arrived and used to visit Monaco and Eze, and 10 minutes from the beach club the hotel partnered with for a discount. The walk to Old Nice was over 20 minutes but not unpleasant to walk along the beach.

The hotel was in a really good location which was a short walk from Port Lympia and Nice Riquier station if you want to get to Monaco. The old town was also close by. It was wonderful. It was very clean. I recommend a room with a bath. You can go to many places within walking distance. The hotel always smelled good near the front desk. They bake bread in the hotel. There was a female staff member who could speak Japanese. I asked this hotel to make a reservation for a local restaurant before I left Japan, and they responded quickly and kindly.

The hotel is nicely furnished and designed. The AC was not working properly in our room so Cesar at the front desk upgraded us to a bigger room with functional AC. The breakfast was excellent. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend the Gounod for a visit to Nice.

The room is clean and tidy, the front desk and cleaning staff are very enthusiastic, but the room is small, the lighting is poor, the partitions and decorative panels in the room have a pungent smell, I don't know what materials they are made of.

The hotel's location is indeed not comparable to those by the sea, but I like this hotel very much. It is not too far to walk to the old town. The overall decoration is very comfortable, and there are many freshly made choices for breakfast. What surprised me most was their service. Beautiful sea view room, a bit of noisy in the night

We stayed here for four nights in December 2024, and it was a nightmare. The noise level was unbearable, I could easily hear traffic from the road, and my room was near a parking area. Every morning around 6am, I was woken up by loud dumping sounds, likely from a service truck. The most terrible part was the shower water, it was not hot at all. In colder weather, I felt like I might catch the flu...

It was fantastic, the room is so spacious and with sea view! The service is very good and the staff are very kind! The bathroom is also big and with bathtub.

Not big variety in breakfast, always tables waiting for cleaning during breakfast. For the daily price we pay it's not acceptable that they charge the sun bed in the beach.

Environment: The only advantage is that it is close to the sea. The balcony has a sea view, which is very beautiful on a sunny day. Service: I ordered milk tea on the day of check-in, but I didn’t finish it and left it in the room and went out for an afternoon. Hotel is located right next to a metro stop so that's very convenient. We were here for a couple of nights and had a pleasant stay. The rooftop offers a very nice view of the coast . The breakfast was very disappointing however. Other than that, good stay and great service!

The pictures advertised for the room that we booked didn’t match the real room that we received. Instead of a cute little terrace, we got a weird half window. They tried to make us pay for an upgrade. I don’t understand why I have to pay for an upgrade when we didn’t receive a proper room to begin with. Leaving it after a night stay. Will not be coming back.

The sea view is first-rate, nothing to say. Except for the occasional maintenance noise during the day, it was OK most of the time, and the front desk was very friendly. Overall, it is traditional, but I am very satisfied with it.

I have a lot of praise for this hotel, especially its service. I had a spare phone, a relatively new one, which fell on the bed. I had already checked out and left my luggage at the hotel. When I came back from a day out, they immediately recognized me and gave me my phone. It is a very reliable hotel.

The staff were fantastic, especially the sweet cleaning lady and receptionists and the location is pretty good. Rooms were alright, the large clown over the bed was pretty off-putting though and some parts of the room seemed worn out.

The location is great, and the hotel is a cozy relaxed space. Everything about this hotel is spot on. The only (and major) issue is the beds. The mattress is too firm. I simply couldn't sleep. Even my friend, in a separate room, complained of the same issue. A few nights in, we decided to switch to another hotel so we could sleep better. No other complaints about the hotel, honestly.

Room is clean, very close to nice city centre. The staff was very welcoming, close to supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy. Restaurants in the area are quite decent, you can reach the beach within 10 mins of walking. The breakfast is a bit expensive(＞20 eur).

The hotel is definitely beautiful and full of California vibes! It’s clean and staff are very friendly. The toilet is separated from the bathroom and bed is comfortable. It’s have kettle and fridge in the room, with huge wardrobe and cabinet for us to put our shopping spree. The only con we found is the aircon in the room will auto turn off after sometime which me and my husband are not used to it

We booked this property because it had airport shuttle only to find out upon arrival it is not working. Although hotel is in walking distance to airport, we had a lot of luggage and had to get a taxi to take us. Was told their shuttle is electric and does not working often. I really liked the airport pick and drop off shuttle service it was so efficient and was a very warm welcome. The location of the hotel is just 3-5 minutes away by car and it is easy to move from and to the hotel. It was a good experience overall and recommend the hotel. The hotel is very close to nice airport, and has a shuttle service there, making it less stress for an early or late flight

This is my second time in Nice. I like this city very much. The train station is next to the hotel and you can go directly to the city center in 8 minutes. You can also take the tram to the city center, which is very convenient.

Got upgraded by Holiday Inn as they were full. Good hotel, breakfast was great with nice selection and a chef to make omelettes on request. Stayed only one night for a flight the next morning. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful (new guy from Portugal). Would stay again

Great location and lovely room with view over airport , only downside was bar closed early and we had just arrived from a long delayed flight there was no food available and just ordered drinks but staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Apart from the staff is a great hotel

The hotel is newly opened with a very good location and convenient transportation. There is a handsome black guy at the front desk who can speak a little Chinese and provides warm service. The lobby is very grand and the room decoration is also very stylish.

Great location, friendly staff who speak good French and English. Floors are carpeted and could use replacement. Noisy location, but not a problem with the windows shut.

Clean, good shower , very friendly check in. We’re advised of the closest tourist stops to visit. Reasonably priced for Nice. My only complaint would be that the AC wasn’t very powerful as it was hot in Nice at the time.

It is a nice place to stay. Philippe was very nice at the reception, he even took his time to explain us where we should check out during the stay. His suggestions were spot on. The hotel is small and cozy. I will definitely go back there again.

Best thing about the hotel is it’s location. Otherwise it is an old hotel. ROOMS are spacious but do offer basic amnesties like water kettle. Parking through the hotel is not advised at all. At the same cost one can park on the road and avoid the hassle of driving down 3 floors in an underground private car park. Also you have to deposit the key back every time you take or drop off your car.

Probably the best decision to stay here in Nice...bigger rooms, central location and the Manuela made our stay most memorable with all her help and assistance. Among the best choice of hotels better than some 4 star hotels also.

Great hotel with class. Room was comfortable and private patio was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay. Only downside is it is a little ways from downtown and it wasn't the easiest to find.

Great price, lovely helpful staff and great pool. It's not near the town centre but is near the airport. For a few days peace and quiet by a pool with good sleep in a city it was great.

The best in this place is the location and the attention of the staff, they were so helpful and nice to us. The hotel has old decoration and ambience. The rooms a little bit to simple but we have very good sleep the 3 days we stay. So I can't say negative things in there.
