A lovely hotel on the beach with a pool and large roof bar and lounge. Very nice rooms with crisp A/C and space to unpack

The sight of the azure sea right from our window was breathtaking. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the rooftop restaurant, Calade. The food was nothing short of exquisite, with each dish crafted to perfection

Truly a fantastic stay! Location is fabulous, rooms are great. But the best was the staff!!! Shoutout to Naceur at the front desk who was always so friendly and helpful with all the touristy stuff

Didn't change from one day to another, but the initial choice is so broad that is was fine. I guess that maybe in full summer period they are overwhelmed as it is indeed a hotel with big capacity

I wanted to test the restaurant but off season it was closed. Rooms were very nice, bedding great quality. Maybe slightly overpriced but my guests were over the moon with the view

I initially chose this hotel because my clients/guest wanted a "view" on the sea. I booked and only checked the ratings later, and got a bit scared and didn't know what to expect

This was the first time I saw asian porridge for breakfast at a hotel and it was delicious. Walking distance to everything. Only con would be their tiny pool and no space to lay out so just go to the beach

The hotel ticks all boxes which one needs for a perfect holiday with family. Great view(sea), Great location (centre of city), Fantastic staff(always ready to help), Good rooms and everything else. Highly recommended.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful! Great location walking distance to Old Nice and the beach clubs. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and rooftop restaurant / bar

Every year we spend a few days at this property and every year we are so impressed with the staff. With two kids in tow, they go out of their way to make us feel supported and personalize our trip

Nice hotel, with views of the Mediterranean. Good service, polite attentive staff. Room, at least ours, was a bit on the small side but was fine

Pictures simply do not do justice to the breathtaking panorama. What's more, the hotel's location is perfect – within a short 15-minute walk, you can reach both the port and the charming old town

The walk to Old Nice was over 20 minutes but not unpleasant to walk along the beach

From Denmark, Copenaghen, I traveled to my holidays in Nice. I visited the pub in late July and was blown away by the incredible view! Brenda, who worked there, provided exceptional service

Staff were friendly and everything was very clean. The views from the roof are amazing

The location was convenient for us: 10 minutes from the train station where we arrived and used to visit Monaco and Eze, and 10 minutes from the beach club the hotel partnered with for a discount

Perfect location, just right by the old town and the beautiful beach. Rooms are small but well designed and clean. They have no elevator but it’s just one floor so not a really big deal. Staff are not so friendly.

Great location, probably the best of various places we have stayed around Nice. On the edge of the old town, but still a short stroll to the new town. Even a zebra crossing to the promenade right outside the door

We only spent one night at the Mercure, as we were flying out the next morning, but it will be my go-to in Nice from now on! The location could not be more perfect: there are so many great restaurants just one or two blocks away, great shopping, and the beach is literally right across the street

The whole area is super lively at night. We had a room in front overlooking the beach, and although the nighttime crowd outside was loud, we couldn't hear a peep once our windows were closed

Excellent shower, in a nice room which was perfect for a 4 night stay. Friendly staff, took our bags pre-checkin and had the key ready when we returned, always smiling and welcoming at the desk

Our room was well equipped and modern, air conditioning worked perfectly, beds were comfortable and breakfast had a great selection with a lovely lady working it

Such a shame as restaurant was such an unwelcoming place and let down the lovely front line staff on desk and door. Several days they forgot to make our room up but this did not matter to us

While my overall experience was pleasant—the majority of the staff were courteous, and the spa facilities were exceptional—my final interaction with the front desk staff left a lasting negative impression

Good thing about the bedroom was that it had good covering curtains so you could have it fully dark if you wanted to. But overall It did not give me a sense of luxury The massage at the spa was not the best

I approached the desk to check out and told him I'd like to shower quickly (~10 min) before coming back down. He suggested I use the spa area for my shower, to which I agreed

Such a chique hotel with great style. The rooms are so spacious but the tv is a bit dated. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and keep everything clean

This lack of transparency feels deceptive, and the charge appears entirely unwarranted given that I was a paying guest simply preparing to vacate my room

The hotel is in a good location close to a tram stop, the beach, several restaurants and my favorite - a French cafe next door with 50% off pastries after 7 pm

The only downside for me was no microwave in the room, although the rest of the stay was great, so that was really just a small thing

Breakfast had a lot of choices. Heavy on the pastries but enough other options. The rooftop is amazing in view service and few. The front desk staff was helpful. If I stay again, I’d prefer a higher floor

I also really enjoyed the breakfast variety which included a delicious quiche, croissants and a selection of French pastries

Affordable, good location, excellent staff. 1 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from the boardwalk proper and 15 from the heart of downtown and train station

My room was modern and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful

Excellent place, nice and helpful personell, I lost some items in the room and all was returned when I came back to pick up my luggage. Delicious food as well! I recommend it for short and long stays in a great location.

You can leave your luggage here if you have a later flight which was good. Be aware of a city tax as well, an extra payment we weren’t aware of. There is a safe and a mini bar in the rooms - this was expensive though

We arrived in Nice at roughly 11am and obviously we weren’t expecting to get into our room

See attached photos! Also the blinds were coming off and one side only had one blind? The alley way next to our room has a lot of noise of drunken people too and a brawl spewed out one night

very well located, and rooms are ok if you don’t intend to spend a lot of time in the rooms. Cleaning is not done well, and the rooms are old. Our shower had some moldy corners. Overpriced for the quality you get

We explored the town and came back at 2pm asking if the room was ready (again I understand it’s before check in) and the original girl said she would confirm with a colleague

We absolutely loved the Brice Garden hotel. Great accommodation and great value. next time I would book earlier to secure one of the big rooms at the front of the hotel because they’re gorgeous

We went here in February for a little vacation and this hotel is excellent! First of all, it's a very good location right near the beach and not too far from the airport, secondly the staff are so nice and welcoming

The location was excellent with the promenade, old town and the many restaurants and bars nearby easily reached on foot. The efficient tram system was just a few minute’s walk from the hotel and serves the city very well

We recently stayed with friends whilst seeing the south of France. The hotel was great, the staff where incredible and couldn't do enough for us. It was very close to the beach and locals shops and restaurants

Premium experience, nice and spacious rooms, beach 2 minutes away. Breakfast is served in a large selection and in a wonderful milieu. Great cleanliness and all the staff are very courteous and kind

The hotel is next to the Promenade des Anglais. That is a good thing and also a bad thing. The pros are nearby beaches and restaurants

They obviously take great care of this. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Nice

The staff were always attentive and helpful (with excellent English which was no expectation but so appreciated!) the location was excellent, right on the boulevard but not close to noisy clubs, and very accessible to the old town

The reception staff's friendliness depends on the person, some of them are a little bit stiff. The shower was large and the complementary products are from Locitan which is a plus. The housekeeping staff were lovely

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Great view from a front balcony facing the sea. Rooms are modernised and beds comfortable. There is a great top bar with a fantastic view of the bay

Rooms of good standard and friendly staff. Great location, close to the beach, promenade and restaurants but away from the noise from the night life. Three local Michelin restaurants next door but with affordable prices.

Lovely hotel in the center, close to the beach. Supermarket a cross the street and best of all so clean and excellent service. even though it is in the center it is in a quiet street. Will definitely stay there again !

They went out of there way to provide storage for our two bicycles. The location is great, just beyond the bustle of the city but a short walk from many restaurants, the beach and the train station

The location of the hotel was ideal (close to the beach and the main areas of town) and a short walk to the Nice Ville train station! We loved our stay and can't wait to come visit again!

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Les Cigales during our time in Nice! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and answered all of our questions and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible

Two of us stayed in room #2 for 2 nights. The room is very funky with custom made furnishings and a really well selected colour scheme. Very thing worked well and the staff were always friendly

They also Gave me a map of the best places to tour over the city and some particular tips that helped me a Lot! They speak (beyond french of course), at least english

5 stars for a location 1 block from the English Promenade, the friendly, helpful staff, reasonable rates, lovely terrace area and the nice breakfast spread

The hotel lays at a good location, close to the beach, a beach club and a good bakery. All in all, the hotel surprised us in a good way. Would stay again there if going another time to Nice

A few examples: all trains from Paris were cancelled and we ended up arrive to Nice one day later. The hotel changed our reservation and allowed us to stay one more day to compensate for the lost day

Additionally they hand out free towels and umbrellas when going to the beach. At the reception there are also irons available. The reception is 24 hours occupied and the staff is helpful

Next day we got upgraded to a larger room. When we asked for a wine opener, we also got an ice bucket and two wine glasses. Loved our time at Locarno, thank you for being so accommodating

+ Clean, compact room + Spacious, comfy bathroom + Attentive, friendly staff + Right at the beach (50mish) +- saw too late there was a second pillow, these small pillows thag squish are ruinous for side sleepers necks - big party on weekends from the party tourists, woke me a few on fridays, drunk chatter at 5 am

Really nice hotel. The location of the hotel is near the beach and on a popular street. It has lot of restaurants, tapas and bakeries around.

only compliant is the horrible wifi, we were on floor 1 and it was so awful, might even be the worst hotel wifi i have ever used, asked them to fix it and it never got fixed for longer than 2 hours

Nice hotel in central location close to sea. Very flexible and friendly service. Extra shout-out to the breakfast staff, they sorted out our booking mistakes with a smile.

room's are nice, beds are comfortable, and clean, we had no issues with loud noises as we were facing the patio area. location is excellent, so close to the promenade and to nice restaurants

Some rooms are possibly noisy (if facing the road) but ours was super quiet, and the service was great - staff were super helpful in finding a location to leave our car that wasnt super expensive

In the middle of station and airport and near the coast line. You take a step out and you have a lovely view of sea and sky and also the branded shops nearby

Traditional, comfortable, charming. None of the glitz, but just what you'd expect off the main drag in Nice. Would recommend, unless glitz is your thing.
