3 star hotels in Nice

It's too early for a review, we're still staying here.🙂 But so far everything is superlative. Just a problem with one of the socket in room 503, it no longer works, but we will inform the reception staff. I recommend this hotel to tourists.

Very centrally situated but quiet. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our dog was made welcome too. The receptionist in the morning, who also served us breakfast, was charming. And the translation about the mosquitoes was hilarious!

Great wee stay for a few nights in the city. Cheaper than being in the centre but lovely walk to Old Nice along the beach, or very quick and accessible tram link. Maybe a bit far out if you want true hustle & bustle but we prefer being away from that anyway. Clean, comfortable, well staffed, perfect for what we needed.

HOWEVER, the really good thing about this hotel is the location; although barely any places to eat nearby, parc pheonix has bus stops and trams that go EVERYWHERE! and for super cheap, as little as 1.5€ to old nice, 2.5€ to cannes and about 5€ to monaco.

We stayed during the rugby World Cup for 2 nights and the hotel was excellent. The only reason I couldn't give a 5 star for the room was because the beds were a little uncomfortable and we only had 1 pillow, one of the lads asked for another pillow and the lady said no which was hilarious because it was so typically French so we didn't mind that, plus its mostly his fault for having a head like a van...

Nice hotel, although the room is quite small for 4 people. The convertible sofa and the bed almost touched. Ideal for two people.

The staff is an absolute pleasure! We woke up to our flight because canceled, called down, and within minutes they had another room for us that night. They also watched our bags, stored our bags, and had wonderful breakfasts! My group absolutely loved staying at this hotel. First of all it is the PERFECT location. An easy walk from the train station and only costs 1.70 euros to go to the airport on the metro. The Hotel Locarno offers an amazing experience during your stay in Nice. The rooms are clean, have air conditioning and are not too small. Room was 'deluxe' but apart from slightly larger was not deluxe in anyway. Adequate bathroom, beds OK but room definitely needs an update and good clean. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Location is great within 10 mins walk of everything. Alex on the front desk was the most helpful person that I have ever met in France, he explained to us where to go and what to see, even warned us about pickpockets at the train station. The experience at this hotel was fairly positive, the rooms were cleans and all included a mini fridge which is nice, furthermore breakfast is included which is really nice at this price point. Price/quality relation very good. Right next to tram and train to go to city center, Monaco, Blue coast. Breakfast is quite good and if the weather is good, having it outside on the terrace is even better. Stayed here a few times and staff has always been pleasant to us.

The location is perfect. It's about 25 minutes by train from the airport, 10 minutes from the train station and even less from the beach. The recepcionists are friendly and speak English. Decent, good value, friendly staff

Very good location, excellent price. The room is clean, spacious and lovely. The only set back is that the toilet doesn’t have a ventilation, so the only way for it to ventilate is through the bedroom out the balcony, which is not quite ideal. But everything else was very good, checkin checkout was smooth!

It was great service and lovely to meet someone within the tourism industry that was willing to speak English. Dirty towels and a not vacuumed floor in our room was unfortunate however.

This is absolutely all you need for a night near the Airport. We had a 6AM flight and we got into the hotel at 9PM. Staff had some cold dishes as well as pizza available for purchase. I simply loved the stay. The room might have been a little small but it was very tidy and very clean. No bed bugs that's the most important thing. The service was excellent. The staff was extremely hospitable and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was decent and had the essentials. Location wise this hotel is walking distance to the train, tram, lots of dining, shopping, entertainment and about a 15 minute scenic walk to the beach.

I loved it! First of all a great location and it is walking distance to everywhere. The personnel were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are at great size for the Ibis and I loved the one with a balcony, while you can open the doors and get the air. Good place to stay when visiting Nice, breakfast great, room and other areas are clean. Parking is a bit hard to find, you have to drive over the side walk. Parking is not gated and accessible by everybody who walks along the street.
