Where to stay in Nice

I decided to experiment by staying in this hotel as seen through a modern lens. It is quite old building hotel but the location is perfect for travelers. Quite centered and accessible. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem is WiFi. It is very often disconnected.

Great location, only 15 mins in a taxi from the airport and all the key areas of interest are within 10-15 minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants close by. Neat and cozy room with a nice little balcony. They have the room cleaned daily which is really good of you are staying for more days. Linens were clean and tidy. Checkin-checkout was very smooth and staff was very gracious and helpfull. There are plenty of restaurants nearby offering a variety of cuisines. The place is really close to railway station and you can easily walk there.

The workers were all super friendly. The hotel itself is so pretty and lovely. Only problem i found is that the bathroom is too small and i hurt myself a few times because of it. The hotel was clean, safe, good location and staff very helpful. There were a couple of things about the room that would have been helpful. A luggage rack, rather than a chair or perhaps instead of the fridge would have been very helpful. Also some hooks in the bath for the towels and a place for at least two dop kits would have been really great. All in all happy to stay there.

The problem I had with the hotel is lack of vanity packs,no toothbrush/toothpaste, no shower caps,and the most annoying part is they don't give water even after I requested for it from the cleaners. There is no way this is a 4* Hotel. The hot water pressure is poor. I’ve given up with the wifi and the staff are hardly the friendliest people. And I high price to pay given there are tradesmen walking around scaffolding exposing my bathroom and bedroom. Choose one of the many other options if you want a high end experience.

We was a little disappointed over the standard of the room. Pictures on the web shows just newer room in all categories. This room was old with carpet, but clean. We had a lovely 4 night stay here. It is very conveniently located on the tram line at Palais des Expositions. We did feel there wasn't a ton of restaurants or things to do in the area of the hotel but the accessibility of the tram line made traveling to sights very easy.
