Where to stay in Nice

Not big variety in breakfast, always tables waiting for cleaning during breakfast. For the daily price we pay it's not acceptable that they charge the sun bed in the beach.

Environment: The only advantage is that it is close to the sea. The balcony has a sea view, which is very beautiful on a sunny day. Service: I ordered milk tea on the day of check-in, but I didn’t finish it and left it in the room and went out for an afternoon. When I came back at night, I found that the hotel service staff had entered the room and thrown away the milk tea?

It is far from the old town and Castle Hill, and you have to take the tram/bus to travel. There is no room upgrade as seen in the comments, and there is no heated swimming pool. The only advantage is that it is close to the beach and the hotel has a private beach area. The room was noisy in the morning and afternoon for two consecutive days. I asked to change to a sea view room but was rejected. I...

Spacious and clean. Perfect sea view. Free sparking water is a good plus. With a basement car park connected to the hotel.

The hotel is located near the airport, you can walk to the city center along the embankment. On the roof there is a terrace with sun loungers, a swimming pool and a beautiful view.

The room was big, the front desk was very friendly and polite, and the view was very open.

Great location very close to the beach, with a great view of the sea. Compared to other hotels, the service here is very poor. Always a 5+ person queue at the reception, and very slow service for even things like beach towels. The first two mornings here, the cleaning staff let themselves into the room at 8am whilst shouting “housekeeping!” Not a nice way to wake up whilst on a relaxing holiday....

Every year we spend a few days at this property and every year we are so impressed with the staff. With two kids in tow, they go out of their way to make us feel supported and personalize our trip. Avocado tartar 3/5 stars - the chef mix the soft and unriped hard avocado so I think that’s not so professional for this top famous hotel Fish soup- 4/5 stars. Their signature dish but I had much better fish soup. Their coutons were very hard and soup was a bit too salty. View was nice but can’t say amazing because you see the streets and the cars

The restaurant is very nice and cute. The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious. The Steve Molinari fish soup was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The portions are generous: we ordered one tasting menu and, for the other person, a starter and a main dish — and we both ended up full. The staff was very friendly and professional. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Our server Emelie (I hope that’s right) was fabulous! We had a great night. We are from Germany and can’t speak French but we we were all working together to make it work. Thank you Emelie! Unfortunately, we didn’t like the drinks very much though they were well crafted but I wish there was one or two more classics on the menu like a proper Daiquiri, a Gimlet or anything like that...

This is a not miss restaurant in Nice! The staff are just next level amazing and everyone was so helpful for my dairy and gluten allergy. They brought our gluten free bread and even made me a special dessert. Highly recommend!

Travel to Nice and visited here 2 times ! Really love it !! The food is amazing and same as the service and atmosphere! Even though second visit the service personnel made some mistakes, but the manager and other personnel immediately came over to apologize and gave us some nice cocktails from the house !! Just stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is gorgeous. It’s an atrium style where the rooms look down into the breakfast / dinner pool area. It’s centrally located. This is probably the best hotel that I've ever stayed. I've stayed at their resorts in multiple Hawaiian islands as well as Barcelona, but this was the best. Had an amazing experience at this hotel. The service was top notch. The hotel is clean and still ok but the service could improve a lot. Room service was not given everyday. After telling this to the reception they just come up with excuses that they were fully booked which was absolutely false. It was great service and lovely to meet someone within the tourism industry that was willing to speak English. Dirty towels and a not vacuumed floor in our room was unfortunate however.

This is absolutely all you need for a night near the Airport. We had a 6AM flight and we got into the hotel at 9PM. Staff had some cold dishes as well as pizza available for purchase. The location of the Hotel is prime (in front of the promenade) The hotel staffs are very kind and polite. They even went ahead to have our room upgraded and prepare the room for my son’s birthday which was a surprise for us too. Spacious rooms and also fabulous view from the balcony.

I reserved a room on the top floor with sea view. These rooms are modern here and with more space. The hotel is the first hotel on the promenade des Anglais, so prepare yourself that it is old style but I adore it. The location is the best. This hotel is located right on the best section of the Promenade des Anglais. Those rooms facing the sea has 180 deg view of the Nice coastline and our corner room has even more expanded view. The hotel is within an easily walk along the coast to the Nice old town or take a bus ride with 2 to 4 stops. There is also a tram station not far with the L2 tram goes directly to the Nice airport terminal

We had a good experience in this hotel but there were a few things that could be improved. Cons: The queen bed in our room were 2 full beds pulled together. There was a whole in the middle that kept opening.The sheets come undone while you sleep because they don’t use regular mattress sheets that stay in place. The shower is a hazard. Facility, location, cleanliness all top!

The hotel was in a really good location which was a short walk from Port Lympia and Nice Riquier station if you want to get to Monaco. The old town was also close by. Service at the hotel was really good, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size even though the bathroom was quite small. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection.

Room is clean, very close to nice city centre. The staff was very welcoming, close to supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy. Restaurants in the area are quite decent, you can reach the beach within 10 mins of walking. The breakfast is a bit expensive(＞20 eur).

The hotel bathroom is relatively large, the facilities are relatively old, it is very close to the British Avenue, and it is very convenient to see the sea.

My wife and I recently stayed at rhis hotel for 3 nights. Exceeded our expectations. We had a corner room with terrace. Very nicely appointed and clean. Hotel staff were super accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel is strategically located in Nice. Within walking distance of promenade, restaurants and retail stores.

The room is small with somewhat dated finish. It's ok for staying at night while you go on day trips out of town. The breakfast has good selection. The location has easy access to train station, grocery store and the beach/sightseeing area. There is no camera in the elevator.

The staff were fantastic, especially the sweet cleaning lady and receptionists and the location is pretty good. Rooms were alright, the large clown over the bed was pretty off-putting though and some parts of the room seemed worn out.

The location is great, and the hotel is a cozy relaxed space. Everything about this hotel is spot on. The only (and major) issue is the beds. The mattress is too firm. I simply couldn't sleep. Even my friend, in a separate room, complained of the same issue. A few nights in, we decided to switch to another hotel so we could sleep better. No other complaints about the hotel, honestly.

The hotel is a little far from the old town, and there is a main road under construction, which slightly affects travel. The smell of the hotel lobby is not very good, the room is quite large, and the facilities and hygiene are pretty good.

The location is about 1.5 kilometers from the beach. There is a road under construction in front of the door, which is a bit messy. There is a supermarket not far away. Parking is in a parking building across the road. You need to go to the front desk to get a barcode before driving over. You have to scan the barcode twice to enter and exit the parking building, which is a test of thinking and action...

Just came back from staying here room 317 very clean by the housekeeping staff. Reception staff very helpful as we was English and couldn't understand french it was no problem for them to speak English and help us kind Nd friendly staff. Very easy check-in, nice clean room and good breakfast with plenty of food and tables. The location is great, being walking distance to the beach and next to the train station. The pool was busy but was a favourite with my son, who enjoyed cooling down in it during the hot weather.

Staff were friendly and everything was very clean. The views from the roof are amazing. The location was convenient for us: 10 minutes from the train station where we arrived and used to visit Monaco and Eze, and 10 minutes from the beach club the hotel partnered with for a discount. The walk to Old Nice was over 20 minutes but not unpleasant to walk along the beach.

I can't recommend it enough. The staff are all absolutely lovely and so helpful. The rooms are spotless, beds are so comfy and the air con is so welcomed. They offer a continental breakfast(which includes eggs to be boiled to your liking and as much tea and coffee). Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels without being asked. We only got one night in this adorable hotel but I would go back in a heart beat. Walkable distance from the train station WITH air conditioning! The man the runs it was personable and kind. We were able to store our luggage for a couple hours before we had to leave town as well-VERY helpful! We have every intention of going back to Venice and I would stay here again, no problem!

I stayed here for about 5 days with three people, and we chose to have breakfast included. The place was nice and clean, but it was a bit small for the three of us. For a trip like ours where we wouldn't be in the room a lot, it was alright. The breakfast was fairly simple, having fruits, two cereal options, some chocolate croissants and regular croissants, and some other bread options and bread toppings...

I stayed in this hotel for a few days and it was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. The receptionist was extraordinary, the hotel was well cleaned and maintained, the rooms were amazing with views and the bed was super comfy!!!! Thank y'all for making my trip the best I have ever had!!!!

We had a wonderful mini break in Nice and the friendly and welcoming experience of the Beau Rivage hotel was a lot of what made it a memorable vacation. The rooms are bright and clean and the breakfast options were superb! We hope to go back very soon and will keep a lookout for any mid-week deals.

Definitely loved this place. The rooms have enough space, they are clean and neat👌. The service is excellent and the staff is professional 👏 and very helpful. The location is perfect, easy to get to the market place, restaurants and old town, plus easy access to the beach/ front line🏖. Will definitely come back 😊. We Definitely enjoyed our stay☺️

We were there for the Ironman World Championship and it was a perfect location for that. Even if we had just been visiting, everything was very convenient. Restaurants, shopping, food, the beach, and public transportation all were just minutes away. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and in good repair. The breakfast buffet, although small, had a really good variety...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Nice Beau Rivage. The location was fabulous- smack in the middle of town and a stone's throw away from the beach. I had sadly read some negative reviews of the hotel, posted only a few weeks before my arrival date, and therefore was a bit unsure of what to expect. However, the negative reviews couldn't have been more wrong. Sure, my room was a little outdated...

The hotel is nice and clean and in the best location. 1 minute to the beach with their own beachclub. In old town nice. Room was very small, shower not big enough for my boyfriend who is 1.93. People were very friendly. Price/quality was good!
