I went to La Rotonde to have breakfast at the buffet and came with high expectations. But what was offered left me speechless. All sorts of croissants and other tasty pastries, great coffee and tremendous service, especially by Amira who is not only quick on her feet but also able to propose the best breakfast options tailored to my preferences.

Such a chique hotel with great style. The rooms are so spacious but the tv is a bit dated. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and keep everything clean. There is no way this is a 4* Hotel. The hot water pressure is poor. I’ve given up with the wifi and the staff are hardly the friendliest people. And I high price to pay given there are tradesmen walking around scaffolding exposing my bathroom and bedroom. Choose one of the many other options if you want a high end experience.

This hotel is conveniently located, next to the city center and all amenities. The rooms are clean althoug not very big, personally I'm not a fan of the carpeted floor. We had a lovely 4 night stay here. It is very conveniently located on the tram line at Palais des Expositions. We did feel there wasn't a ton of restaurants or things to do in the area of the hotel but the accessibility of the tram line made traveling to sights very easy. The rooms are pretty old and tatty, they’re not splendid at all, it’s hard to believe it’s a 4 star hotel. Rooms are pretty standard, nothing to rave about, we had the privilege which is comparable to the standard room at some other hotels we've been at in the city. Our basic room (203) had awkward access (spiral staircase), limited storage space and poor replenishment of in-room refreshments (milk and sugar). On the plus side, the room was comfortable, the staff were supportive and our deal made it good value.

Perched at the Castle Hill end of the Bay La Perouse is perfectly placed as a base to explore the City, Port and Promenade Des Anglais. The hotel has a modest entrance but walk through to the rooms positioned further back. Sea view rooms are worth stretching for. Not cheap and it’s four rather than 5 stars.

If you have a balcony (which are really nice to have) beware of making sure that the hotel can turn off the enormous floodlights at night…which they can do on request. My husband and I stayed here in a double room, superior with balcony and can't say enough great things about it. This was an anniversary trip for us and we arrived in our room to a chilled bottle of wine and love messages written on the mirrors as well as a welcoming card. Staff were superb! So welcoming and couldn’t have done more! Breakfast was good and done miss the orange juice! Lots of choice. Small issue was with the room, on the last night we found a cockroach in the bathroom, but the room was immaculate. Will stay there again. Thank you team

What a wonderful place to stay while visiting Nice. Every room is an experience of it's own.

Very comfortable hotel (we had a "creation" room), very friendly and helpful staff. We felt looked after. We loved the mix of old and new in the decor and the special atmosphere brought by the garden. On a very personal note perhaps, I somehow felt transported in a different place and time and found our time there to be incredibly relaxing.

This was a last minute choice in Nice, but absolutely worth it. The rooms, all different from each other in decoration, are clean an comfortable. The hotel itself is a 5 minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais, making it easy to consider spending the day at the beach without having to carry over long distances. We had an absolutely wonderful stay here to celebrate our anniversary this past weekend. The staff decorated our already very romantic room to create a lovely surprise. It’s an amazing new hotel with very sophisticated and clean rooms, furniture and fittings. The location of this hotel is very good with a lot of restaurants nearby and it’s just a 15mins walk from the pebble beach. The breakfast was very delicious as well. We stayed in a Classic Room on the first floor facing the road and we very happy with it. Lovely bathroom as new, very comfortable bed, room serviced daily, nothing to fault. Staff very professional. We didn’t have breakfast but there is an amazing boulangerie 5 minutes around the corner. Easy 10 minute walk to Old Town. Also a tram stop very nearby which we used a lot. It's a good hotel with restaurant and bar. Quiet and within 15 min walking distance to the beach. Breakfast is decent but only if you stay a couple of days. It's the same every day. But be aware that if you arrive by car that there is no parking available. I stayed the Nice Riviera hotel for total of 4 nights. The hotel location is prime. It’s in close distance to so many things which was the major plus of my stay. The room was average, however clean and neat. I was not impressed that the rooms get only one set of water bottle at check in. Klejda at the front desk is a very helpful and friendly professional. She went above and beyond in assisting with medical needs and intervening on our behalf. Highly recommended. The rooms are nice with toilets located in the bathrooms (unlike many hotels in France)

Good hotel to just spend the night. I would have expected a bit more for the price but considering how touristy Nice is, well it's ok. Location is the best feature of the hotel. Don't recommend having breakfast at the hotel, quite pricey and not so good. I would always recommend strolling around and having breakfast at the lovely cafes around anyway.

Its a very nice hotel and I do recommend it for anyone visiting. However, our room was not clean when we arrived, glasses and cutlery were not checked, fridge still had food. And thats why I gave it 3 stars. To Nice Excelsior hotel, please check your rooms before handing over the key. Thank you

Room nice and clean and daily room clean, has a jug which none of our other places did, appreciated that. In a central location. Staff helpful at reception. Would stay here again.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is quite close to the railway station and is also a nice 10-15 minute walk from the beach. But there isn't any view from the rooms or the balcony. The building is small and the rooms are tiny. Breakfast is also just okay and the room service is decent. The staff however is quite friendly and understanding.
