The entire interior of the hotel is old. On the first day, I was assigned a room on the 6th floor. The elevator only goes to the 5th floor. The elevator is very narrow and can only take one person and one luggage. Because I can't carry a large luggage and climb by myself, I was moved to a very small and simple room on the 2nd floor. There was no hair dryer or kettle. There were only two beds put together to leave some space for people to walk around. The sanitary napkins were also very narrow. It was not a place for people to live. The corridor on the second floor was also very narrow. Two people had to turn sideways to pass by. The only advantage is that it is close to the subway station.

My husband booked the hotel for its location and price. The photos online look much nicer than the actual hotel is. Consider it an old motel that needs new beds and major renovations. The first room they put us in had filthy old carpet, chipped paint, the bed was hard and felt like a very old bed, & the pillows were flat. The bed was very uncomfortable to lay on. The bathroom was small and the shower barely large enough for a grownup to use. There were several things that needed to be deep cleaned. My husband asked for another room so they said they put us in their “most recently updated” room. It looked nicer, but the wall AC dripped water when in use, the cold water in the bathroom sink only came out as a drizzle, there are many chips in the porcelain of the tub, and bugs stuck in the ceiling paint. It had the same old hard beds with flat pillows. We woke up with back and hip pain after sleeping on it. I wanted to leave the hotel after the first night but my husband wanted to stay there because of the $$$ it cost to book it. He asked for a more comfortable room and they moved us again. That room was also old with things that needed deep cleaning and a tiny shower. The bed was hard but the pillows a bit fluffier. We still didn’t sleep well so checked out early and went to a nicer hotel. My husband liked their free breakfast but I thought it was gross. Especially when he brought me cereal and the milk had gone bad . My husband is very kind and speaks French and the staff were kind to him. But if you want a good nights rest stay somewhere else.

Because Paris was during the Olympic Games, we booked the room about four months in advance. Unfortunately, we booked the room at the highest price, which cost almost 700 euros for two nights and did not include breakfast and was non-refundable. Later we found out when we traveled The room price of the hotel has dropped by more than half. I communicated with the hotel through Ctrip whether breakfast can be included. After all, it was not possible.
Canceled and rebooked. But was rejected by the hotel. There was a dispute over a child during check-in, and the hotel requested an additional single room. They offered a preferential price of 180 euros per day and night, which we accepted. Arriving at the room, it was completely different than expected. First of all, the hotel was under maintenance at that time, and there was no water in the entire hotel. When I washed my hands, I found that there was no water. No one from the hotel informed me in advance. After the water pipes were restored (at night) we found that the toilet in the single room still couldn't flush, and the double room we originally booked was a completely different kind of double room (it felt dark and much smaller) because the hotel said it would arrange us in the same room. floor. We contacted the hotel and wanted to change to the twin room we originally booked, so we changed one of the rooms to the originally booked room type. The twin room felt larger. A little more comfortable. Due to safety issues in Paris, my children and I ended up staying in a twin room, while my husband stayed in a single room upstairs that was equivalent to an attic. But the twin room has the same problem. The water flow from the faucet in the bathroom is very small, and it feels like it is not clean even when you wash your hands. The door to the room does not have an automatic closing function. If you don't manually lock the door with a latch after closing the door after entering, the door can be pushed open directly from the outside. The same goes for the bathroom door. If you don't open the door, the bathroom door will be open.
The next day we reported that the toilet in one of the rooms could not flush. The man at the front desk did not apologize and just called the relevant department to have it repaired.
From beginning to end, the total room charge for two rooms was 8,000+ RMB, but I did not see any services from the hotel. A young lady at the front desk said about the child problem: This is not our hotel's fault. Please contact China Travel Agency. Okay, what about the other questions? Is there no problem with the hotel? Although the location is very good, it takes 15 minutes to reach the Louvre, but if you search on Ctrip, you can see similar hotels in the surrounding area with similar prices. If it weren't for the fact that one of the rooms was non-refundable, I would never have chosen to book this hotel. We would like to thank Ctrip for its timely feedback and help on the problems we encountered during booking. But this hotel is really, really, really not recommended for everyone to choose! ! !
