Holiday Inn Express Paris-Canal De La Villette, an IHG Hotel

Modern, well taken care of hotel with beautiful views of the canal. Nice continental breakfast with many cold and some hot foods included. Close to the metro/subway and yet many restaurants within a few minutes walk. A good neighborhood to walk, or just stroll along the canal! The room was nice, modern, and clean. The staff was superb and always helpful! One of the guys at the desk spoke 5 languages. This site is tourist friendly! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again my next trip to Paris!

The rooms are a little small but all rooms are in Paris. What really made the stay here were the front desk staff in the evenings. The two guys were extremely helpful and really helped us make the most of our stay.
The area is also really nice with some great food options around the canal. Would be happy to stay again.

After a long day of delayed flights and a late driver pickup, I was relieved to walk into the familiar and trusted brand of Holiday Inn. Though we arrived early, the desk clerk Ibrahim welcomed me with a warm smile, excellent English, and told me it would be just a short while until my room was ready. He kindly checked our luggage for us and then escorted my wife and me to some comfy seats in the lobby to relax. Whilst my wife rested from the long flight, Ibrahim recommended that I walk the short distance to the nearby local brewery, which I did. His recommendation was superb, and I enjoyed a nice dark saison knowing my wife was safe and comfortably resting. Upon returning to the hotel a few moments later, our room was indeed ready and my wife and I were able to unload our bags and take the short walk to the metro for an amazing day of sightseeing in Paris.
If you are coming to Paris, this is an excellent hotel! The rooms are clean, area is safe, it has easy access to the metro, and the best part is the amazing hospitality of Ibrahim! He was an excellent brand ambassador for IHG and I am so glad I chose this hotel for my first visit to Paris!

This hotel offered a peaceful stay in a quieter part of north Paris, with convenient access to various metro lines and a charming canal nearby. While the rooms and amenities were standard for the price, the breakfast spread could be improved. However, it still catered to most tourists' basic needs. Luckily, there were plenty of options within a short walk. The concierge was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the daily housekeeping kept the rooms clean and comfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short, budget-friendly trip to Paris.

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that the AC was broken. They were in the process of fixing it. Lovely location on a canal just outside the city. Coffee is available in the lobby. Parking garage. Great restaurants nearby. People were wonderful. Very helpful and spoke English.

Located in a beautiful area of Paris and next to one of the local canals. The hotel is clean and the staff are nice. Not expensive for getting free breakfest.

In reality I had reservations about our bookings, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a beautiful place, strategically located too. Breakfast was nice and the staff were polite and professional. Enjoyed the stay here with my family...

We had a short stay here and the people on hand were very helpful especially Elvis who went out of his away to show us on a map Paris where were and how to get to the closest metro stops and he gave us two umbrellas as it was going to be a rainy weekend. We had a canal view room which was amazing to stare out into morning and night. When walking down the canal on an evening with my family it didn’t feel 100% safe but where does now a days and this isn’t the hotel issue to resolve. Overall the local restaurants were nice and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Good location next to a nice river and road with lots of shops. The staff is outstanding and always happy. Great people, very nice and helpfull and important: they all speak English. For short or longer stays this hotel is a good tip. The breakfast is good and the diningroom is very pleasant to sit and enjoy your meal.
