Hôtel de Suez in Paris

Very good location, we visited a lot on foot without transport and taxis. At the hotel, we had a three-bed renovated room with a view of the street, beautiful and exactly Parisian. Breakfast very tasty and nice. Friendly staff. A good price-quality ratio for the price of the service.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. This is the only hotel I will stay in when I visit Paris. It is at the center of Paris and everything is right there. Staff are fantastic. The rooms are newly remodeled. Extra clean. It is very quiet. They serve a nice breakfast. 5 min walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. It’s a small hotel and I met the owner. Anne Charlotte. You don’t get that in the large chain hotels. I hate to give this hotel such a good review because then everyone else will discover what a gem this place is. To top it all off it is reasonably priced. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

My fiancée and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we had a wonderful experience!

The rooms were tidy and spacious. The shower was hot and the bathroom very clean.

As for the location, this is the hotel’s greatest strength! We walked to several attractions, such as the Rodin Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and even the Eiffel Tower! On top of that, the Luxembourg Gardens were just a few steps away!

I really enjoyed it! I highly recommend it to everyone – couples and families alike!

Just departed after spending 4 nights at Hotel De Suez. One of the most lovely hotels.

The location was the reason that drew me to the hotel. 5 mins from 2 metro stations. 10-15 from the river Siene. An absolute abundance of restaurants, cafes & brasseries.

Beautifully decorated, well appointed with great amenities. A water filter system available that dispenses still & sparkling for all guests in the lobby with reusable bottles. A microwave also available.

Very comfy beds and a good sized room, we had a double bed & single. Renovated beautifully, with ample storage. Windows that open and great air con.

Staff are all very lovely and accommodating. It was my birthday sitting the stay and they decorated the room with bunting and balloons! Merci, what a delight.

This is a great moderately priced hotel in the middle of the Latin Quarter, close to everything you want to see in Central Paris. Yes room are a little small, but updated and clean, great bathroom. Small but modern elevator, on site reception, and we found the bus stop right in front of hotel has a couple of perfect routes to get you around Central Paris, Metro Station a block and 1/2 away. Would recommend !!

Excellent location at Latin Quarter. Very near to Luxembourg Garden, Norte Dame, and walkable to Louvre. Room is clean and spacious. I like the water dispenser at ground floor. They even have sparkling water!

However, I’d to climb a few steps to go to the toilet. It can be tiring after walking a long day outside.

There is only one lift and it’s very small. It can only accommodate 2-3 pax max or 1 pax and a luggage.

We had an incredible stay at Hotel de Suez. My husband and I searched for the perfect hotel for our first visit to Paris for so long, and we are so happy with our choice to stay here. Our room was sparkling clean, spacious, and comfortable. The prime location was a highlight for us as it served as a convenient launching pad to discover all the city offers. Additionally, the hotel has a water dispenser and glass bottles that allow you to take water to your room, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again and suggest this hotel to friends and family.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We ended up arriving a day early and they were able to quickly accommodate us with about a days notice. The location is great, it’s close to restaurants, tourist areas, and the train/subway. The only downside to our room was the nearby restaurant/bar that played loud music u til around 1am every night. Bother hotels fault though and they did do their best to give us a quiet room. We’d definitely stay here again if the occasion ever presented its again.

If you have been to Paris, you know how difficult it is to find an adequate hotel stay that is not kilometers away from everything. That was not my first rodeo, and I spent a few days researching stays there. I can confidently say that I am very happy with the results.

De Suez is situated between Odéon and the Luxembourg Garden. The location is just perfect. You can walk pretty much everywhere. But that is not even the best part. The rooms are surprisingly spacious by Parisian standards. There was space. You could walk around, put your stuff here and there, comfortably work without bothering your companion, and even do some morning yoga. People who have stayed in Paris will understand what I am talking about. That is a huge plus for the hotel.

Also, it is important to mention the recently renovated bathroom. It was just normal. But in Paris, within the mid-price range, that is not something you see often. It was super comfortable.

We also got lucky with a great view right onto the Saint-Michel Boulevard. It was charming. And then there was a balcony to soak in the city vibe.

If I had to pinpoint a caveat, I would say the AC was a bit tricky. It took me a day to figure out how to manage it, which cost me a sleepless night due to the cold. Also, we were initially given only two small pillows and just three towels. However, this was quickly fixed after we informed the reception. So, I guess the lesson here is do not hesitate to ask.

Overall, it was a good experience. It would be nice to have more service options, and the carpets could use a replacement. But considering the price, I would not stress too much about it. It is probably one of the best accommodations in the city within this range.
