Hotel des Grands Boulevards

Recently my wife and I stayed here during our first trip to Paris! The hotel was recommended to us by a friend who is a travel agent. From the moment we arrived and checked in, we had a great experience. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and most of the staff spoke English very well which was helpful. When we booked the room, we selected a package that included breakfast, room credit, possible room upgrade, and early check in/late check out if available. Upon checking in, we were notified that our room was upgraded, which was a pleasant surprise! The room keys are very old fashioned keys attached to a tassel keychain (which they can keep at the desk when you go out so you don't have to worry about losing it, which is very convenient). Our room was very cool and not like a typical hotel room. All of the finishes, ascents, and amenities were high end. There is a rooftop bar which we tried a few times, but failed to stay long due to smoking. But, it was a very nice and relaxing area. Each morning we also tried breakfast which was nice, but overall small and didn't offer too many options. The common areas of the hotel are decorated really nicely and were clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is on a busy street, and right near a metro stop. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Paris.

Good cocktail, I tried a smoky cocktail, enjoyed it very much. The bar tender explained perfectly what I was going to get. I will definitely come back.

One word -- FANTASTIC. The hotel maintains a small hotel charm with all of the benefits of a larger establishment and is beautifully and simply decorated. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble and you are very well served with Metro stations at the door. Near the Marais too and wonderful restaurants all around! Fanny at the front desk is the BEST. Well priced too for the level of service and amenities. Great restaurant in the hotel too.

We had a wonderful stay! Staff was fabulous with recommendations and very welcoming with service. The bar at center of hotel and upstairs was great! We had lattes and espresso several times and made very well. We loved the location as it was easy to navigate to major sites and catching a ride was super easy. Perks women love like a great hairdryer, great smelling soap and lotions, and towels were really nice! Bed was very comfortable as well. We were in town for my daughter’s graduation and saw Taylor Swift. Staff was great about advice getting to and from the concert. We will be back!!

TL;DR Pretty hotel with the friendliest staff, convenient location if not the most atmospheric. Outside noise can be an issue on weekends.

Hotel has its own style - quite pretty and colorful. Room’s on the small side (stayed in Uzsz) but bathroom was roomy with double sinks and a bathtub which I loved. Small but very comfy beds. Great housekeeping and found the hotel to be quite clean.

Our room was on the first floor facing the street, and it was quite dark - putting on make up was only possible standing by the windows. Despite asking for a quiet room and telling the hotel that I’m a sensitive sleeper, the room we got (first floor, above the entryway) meant outside noise was quite excessive on Friday and Saturday nights. People were screaming and yelling on the streets until 3, 4 am which was very audible in the room. With earplugs I was able to doze off but still woke up several times during the night.

In terms of location, metro stop 1 minute away was very convenient but the actual area itself isn’t the prettiest - if you want to immerse yourself in the Parisian atmosphere, I’d go elsewhere. If convenience and a relatively central location is good enough, this should work

I would usually write off a hotel with the noise issue alone but this hotel has a lot of positives as I noted above, plus has the nicest staff. I’d definitely consider returning, just to a quieter side of the hotel.

My fiancée and I had such an amazing stay at Hotel Grands Boulevards. The staff made our stay so special and went the extra mile to make sure we’d enjoy every second of it.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed and in a great location. The room we stayed in was beautiful and spacious with a lovely private balcony overlooking the courtyard.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough for a special stay in Paris!

We had a wonderful 5-day stay in Paris here. It’a a lovely boutique hotel with custom decor and a cozy but refined vibe. The location is excellent with close access to multiple metro lines, small convenience/grocery stores, and plentiful restaurants and bars. There are small touches (welcome chocolate and pastry) that made our stay even more charming.

Lastly the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. My partner and I had a passport mixup - his flight was later and he was still at hotel but with no cell service, and I was at the airport. I called reception and they very kindly checked around the first floor/restaurant to see if he was around, and got him on the phone for me. It saved my flight!

Fab, chic hotel with impeccable service, amenities, and attention to detail. Excellent breakfast at the in-house restaurant (very good Italian for lunch/dinner) and ideal roof-top bar with great views. Unbeatable location, minutes from pretty much anything in central Paris. Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff. Our new go-to Paris hotel!

Such a fabulous hotel! Rooms are absolutely gorgeous and chic. The breakfast, coffee and cocktails were all amazing. Staff are so charming, literally cannot fault anything.
