My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights in October 2025. The junior suite was very spacious, the King bed was very comfortable, and oh those body pillows were amazing! The windows were huge and allowed fresh air into the room, which was well appreciated. We did need however to play white noise on my pocket speaker all night to drown out the noisy pub next door and to be able to get to sleep. The bathroom was spacious with two sinks; the shower and water pressure worked very well. Ishara, the front desk manager was very helpful, courteous, and so pleasant to deal with. He was able to move our room to a higher floor to mitigate the noise in the night, for which we were very grateful. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and refreshing our room daily. The hotel location is fantastic! I recommend this hotel for those wanting an ideal location nearby many attractions and easy access to the Metro. Bon et Mi bakery is just up the street and is the best around the hotel - try the quiche it is amazing. We did not take breakfast at the hotel but the restaurant area looked clean and bright. I would stay again at this hotel but would take a room overlooking the courtyard to avoid excessive noise at night.

Long time Melia customer here.

I guess you really can't trust Afiiliated hotels after all.

Location is excellent. Room is ok. Breakfast is ok.

Unfortunately, it's the first time I've had the following problem on a no smoking hotel.
Staff probably does not care or enforce non smoking on the property. Almost everyday, my bathroom has a disgusting cigarette smoke smell into it.

It's probably someone smoking on a room close to mine, and that goes through ventilation.

Completely unacceptable.

We highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are bright, clean & spacious, and the breakfast foods were plentiful and delicious. Our concierge, Ishara, was incredible! He warmly welcomed us to Paris and the hotel, and was an invaluable resource to us during our stay.

Stayed here in October 2025

Pros

Good location within easy walking distance of a lot of the main attractions. We barely used public transport at all.

All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the stay.

The room was big especially for a hotel in the centre of Paris.

Cons

The hotel and the rooms are very dated. Even allowing for it being an old building it is in real need of some updating as it is very tried.

The corridors were often full of bags, rubbish, sometimes a mattress and it just didn’t feel well looked after.

The noise from the surrounding area and particularly the Irish bar below which is open until at least 0430 every night was very loud and made sleep hard to come by. Not the hotels fault but a consideration.

The rooms were unbearably hot with no way to adjust the temperature as the air con only works in summer. Opening the window at night not an option as the noise was already too loud to sleep.

The beds for some reason are on wheels so they move all of the time which makes it very difficult to get comfortable.

Overall the hotel was ok but not at all in keeping with what you would expect from a decent Meliá hotel.

Tiny rooms, but then you are in the centre of Paris, so that is par for the course! We faced into the courtyard, which was quite quiet apart from the air conditioner below, but that didn't bother us. Great location right above the metro station. In fact, you can hear and feel the trains go under, even on the 5th floor! So if you are a very light sleeper, maybe not for you? (But then where in a busy city will you get complete quiet?)
Staff are great - really attentive and friendly. They even left a bottle of lovely rosé fizz in our room on my wife's birthday!
Breakfast is so so. Good selection of meat, cheese, bread, cake, pastries and fresh sliced fruit, but the cooked option was mediocre - very fatty bacon, salty little sausages, overcooked beans/veg, quite unpleasant little potato balls and solid scrambled eggs with no option to boil your own like you get in most french hotels. If we were paying E25 each separately we would have eaten out - there's plenty of choice on your doorstep. Having said that, they cater well for gluten free and lactose free people.
We'd defo stay again as it is in such a great location and the staff are so lovely, but would probably eat out.

Bugs crawled around the room and in the bed. No air conditioner had to use a fan. Was stuck in the elevator for over an hour until I was rescued.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve been to. Made my first experience in Paris even more horrible

Great location, think DuPont in DC or SoHo like in NY. Excellent public transportation options. Walkable food spots.

Impressive
Great location for sightseeing. Comfortable room and great breakfast. Friendly, professional staff who were ready, willing and able to answer questions and engage with guests in their own language.
Shame I forgot my scarf but they found it and contacted me to be able to send it back - very impressive.

The location of the property was excellent - metro station just outside and plenty of restaurants/ shops/ bistros. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in/ check out was smooth and our luggage was kept safe on the last day while we enjoyed our last day before travel.
Our bedroom was clean and a good size, however our bathroom was a disappointment and a little bit disgusting with black mould around the old cracked bathroom window and mould in the tile grouting. The bath was chipped with a shower over- which was difficult to shower under due to the connector tube between the taps and shower head being short. There was no air vent/ extractor fan. The bathroom and windows really need replacing/ renovating so I felt this was poor for a ? 4* hotel
