Novotel Suites Paris Montreuil Vincennes

The hotel is far from the tourist area and is located outside of Paris for those unfamiliar with the city. There is a local market next to it, and it is situated right by the highway. There are not many social areas, and the ones available are filled with rats. Paris seems to be full of rats, and it's the same in this hotel, which is very unsettling. Although we found the rooms to be quite clean, factors like these made us feel neither comfortable nor safe.

However, the most important issue is the behavior of the hotel staff. I wish I had learned his name, but the gentleman with glasses at the reception desk should never, ever work in the service industry with his off-putting and arrogant attitude. He rolls his eyes when answering our questions, makes faces when guests want to use the restroom in the lobby, keeps customers waiting for minutes, and doesn't care at all. I've experienced many hotels both in Turkey and abroad, and I've never encountered such behavior in my life. Thank you for so perfectly reflecting French hospitality.

Unfortunately the toilet smells of urine and is very small. It is below 10 degrees outside but the air conditioners are not working. The officer said that unfortunately the air conditioners were not working. The location of the hotel is very bad. The price is more affordable than other hotels, but you have to pay for a taxi every day.

This property is close to a metro station and so going around the paris city was easy. However, do not expect any hospitality. If you are from India and have stayed at Novotel properties here in India, this property is like a OYO.

Only two stars because of location. Neighborhood is not safe or clean. You have to walk like 900m to the nearest metro station and it is dark and dangerous.
But the rooms are really comfortable, clean and spacious

So we came from the uk to attend a wedding,the stay was for 5 days and we booked 4 rooms. The day before we were to leave our autistic little boy was playing with other children in the children’s play area next to the reception desk , I was told by a member of staff to tell my son to be quiet he was too loud. I explained he was disabled and had autism, I was then basically told to take him back to our room. The member of staff was very rude. I will be making an official complaint about the staff, she was the only member of staff who had a problem with my son playing, all the other staff were very polite and helpful.
