Reviews
I have several concerns about my stay at the Hotel, which is advertised as a 4-star establishment with Airbnb/apartment like facilities:
- I saw many hairs on the bedsheet. As you mentioned that you change bedsheet not before 3 days so these must be previous guest hairs.
- The mattress was so uncomfortable that I could feel the spring. I had sleepless nights.
* The room size is unusually small, even for Paris, suggesting it's more aligned with a 2-star hotel.
* The service is more akin to an apartment than a hotel. For example, I was asked to replace used coffee mug by new coffee mugs from the lobby. If guests are expected to perform such tasks, an apartment would be more cost-effective.
Reception area had only 2 chairs. Other than your room nothing is there.
Breakfast was so limited and left over croissants they put next day.
I ll not recommend anyone to stay there.
One more thing you better book from trip sites not from Accor sites so at-least trip like MMT and all they ll help you in these kinda situation.
If you book with Accor thn its like to whom to complaint.
To be fair, most of the staff were friendly and helpful. They helped me book a taxi, which I appreciated.
However, the cups in our room were never replaced or washed during our four-day stay. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told there was no housekeeping service and that we needed to bring the cups down ourselves. When we did, a staff member—clearly in a bad mood—led us to the breakfast room and said, “Take two. They still seem clean though, madame.”
But honestly, who uses the same cups for four days without washing them?
To make matters worse, one of our room key cards—which we had left in the room—was taken without any explanation. We were left confused and even worried that it might have been stolen. At the very least, a note or some kind of communication should have been provided.
Given these experiences, I cannot say this hotel lives up to a four-star standard.
The room cleaning was perfunctory; vacuuming messed up my shoes. The breakfast was average and not worth it. I recommend skipping it; eating at a cafe is better than here. The service was very sensitive to the staff. The lady at the breakfast counter was quite rude. I tried to take a picture of the food, but was told I couldn't.
The location is quite convenient.
I would not be recommending this hotel to anyone, it is more an Ibis Style than a Mercure.
Highly recommended for solo traveller
What made the stay even more special was the staff. Everyone I met was so friendly and kind. The lady who served breakfast was especially lovely. I didn’t book a room with breakfast at first, but the smell each morning was so good that I decided to try it. It ended up being the best breakfast I could have asked for. I especially loved the sausage and crepes.
As for the room, I noticed some reviews on Google mention that the rooms are small. Personally, that didn’t bother me at all. I’ve been to Japan, so I know what a truly small room feels like. I also booked the classic room, so I didn’t expect a large space. It was exactly what I needed—cozy, clean, and comfortable.
I truly feel lucky that I chose to stay here. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for everything you did to make my stay memorable. This place became such a meaningful part of my trip and one of the reasons I fell in love with Paris. It really was a genuine local experience that I’ll always treasure.
