Reviews
Hotel room was big compared to other luxury hotels in Europe and service was amazing.
Housekeeping service was exceptional!!!
We requested few accommodation and they went above and beyond. Thank you!!
I would definitely come back to this hotel!
Only one minor suggestion: As we are packing our luggage, they knocked on our door and asked us whether we need a housekeeping... we were running late for the airport...and I was thinking, I wish they would've been notified our departure. Then, as we were about grabbing an elevator, same housekeepers asked us something in French....I thought they were asking us to take a different elevator? Soon, I realized they were asking a same question whether they could go into our room for housekeeping service.. Since we don't understand French(wish we do!), it was bit stressful since we were running late.
I think this is such an easy fix. Have they known that we were about to leave, I think they would've waited til we check out. Normally, that's how other hotels do...
We love this hotel so much we can't wait to come back!
I had a particularly disappointing experience with check-in. Despite requesting an early check-in and being a Bonvoy Ambassador, I didn’t get my room until around 16:30 after arriving at midday. No explanation or apology was offered, which was frustrating.
Breakfast was served à la carte, which was nice, but the selection was quite limited. As for in-room dining, it was really underwhelming—small portions (we ordered a salad and fries) that didn’t match the high price.
The hotel definitely needs to work on improving the guest arrival experience and the staff’s attitude to better reflect the level of hospitality expected from a brand of this caliber, especially given its prime location.
We left felling ripped off nevertheless when the hotel waiter told us that breakfast is included and then the charge 110€ for two coffees and orange juices. A shame that one leaves the hotel disappointed .
Better to look for other options next time
We celebrated my wife’s birthday with a brunch at the Prince de Galles hotel, and it was unforgettable. Luís provided outstanding service, ensuring our experience was perfect. The food was exquisite, with a fantastic variety and impeccable presentation. The elegant ambiance made it even more special. Highly recommended!
One of my favorite moments was waking up and getting food delivery from a phenomenal bakery and having croissants and madeleines and coffee while sitting on the balcony.
The bathroom has really beautiful mosaic art and were nice. The room was a tad small for our many suitcases we had and no real closet spaces to store them.
The gym was great and got to work out there almost everyday. It offers free towel and packaged water as well.
It was in a great location and very easily accessible to other key spots we wanted to visit. There were numerous subway stations nearby that made the city very easy to navigate.
This was one of my most memorable stays and entirely due to the staff who went above and beyond.
Despite being a party of two, we were only provided with one serving of fruit during our breakfast experience. This lack of attention to detail further exemplifies the declining service standards at this hotel. Disappointing and not reflective of the level of hospitality expected.
On the third day, we encountered the same issues during breakfast, further highlighting the consistent problems with the hotel's service. Additionally, amenities in the room, such as tea bags and coffee capsules, were frequently overlooked for replenishment. These repeated shortcomings are unacceptable and do not meet the expected standards for a hotel of this caliber.
On the fourth night of our stay, we did not receive the turn-down service as promised. This continued oversight, along with the recurring problems during breakfast and the neglect of amenities replenishment in the room, highlights a concerning pattern of poor service at this establishment. Such consistent lapses detract from the overall guest experience and warrant serious attention from hotel management.
