Where is the sixth star for our five-star review? Our stay at the Prince de Galles remains one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Even two years later, we still talk about it often. The elegance of the property, the refined details, and the warm, attentive service made our time in Paris truly unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived, Sergio gave my mom and me one of the warmest welcomes we have ever received, personally escorting us to a beautiful suite. At the time, my mom had been navigating unimaginable loss: my father's passing (her husband), the loss of her mother and my grandmother, and a recent battle with breast cancer. This stay became the turning point for her. The warmth, care, and beauty we experienced here lifted her from a years-long depression. She has since published a book and continued on her healing journey.

This was truly a life-changing experience for our family, one we will never forget. We can’t wait to return.

What a lovely hotel. Everyone there have made our stay wonderful.
The 1920 is a beautiful restaurant and the morning breakfast is lovely and the staff go over the top to make your meal enjoyable. Try the Hot Chocolate.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this will unfortunately be my last visit. None of my requests were properly honored, and the overall service has declined significantly. The air conditioning was extremely awful—barely functioning, leaving the room unbearably hot day and night. For the amount paid per night, this is simply unacceptable. It’s a shame to see a place I once trusted fall so short of even basic comfort. Deeply disappointing.

Rooms are probably nice, location is great. We left and never checked in due to the rudeness of the staff at the front desk. Have had Platinum Status for years, and never been treated like that. Would not ever recommend a Marriott in Paris. Much better to go next door at Four Seasons, service and hotel are much much better.

Very nice hotel with a great location. Rooms are big enough. Although the rooms need some maintenance as it’s over used but it’s very clean. Bed sheets and towels are clean. Breakfast is amazing, you have the option to choose from the menu, it’s not buffet as usual. The French toast is one of the best I have tried. Manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem with the room is the AC, it’s not cold enough.

We usually stayed at Vendome, but I loved this location a lot more.
Hotel room was big compared to other luxury hotels in Europe and service was amazing.
Housekeeping service was exceptional!!!

We requested few accommodation and they went above and beyond. Thank you!!
I would definitely come back to this hotel!

Only one minor suggestion: As we are packing our luggage, they knocked on our door and asked us whether we need a housekeeping... we were running late for the airport...and I was thinking, I wish they would've been notified our departure. Then, as we were about grabbing an elevator, same housekeepers asked us something in French....I thought they were asking us to take a different elevator? Soon, I realized they were asking a same question whether they could go into our room for housekeeping service.. Since we don't understand French(wish we do!), it was bit stressful since we were running late.

I think this is such an easy fix. Have they known that we were about to leave, I think they would've waited til we check out. Normally, that's how other hotels do...

We love this hotel so much we can't wait to come back!

Excellent hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff, rooms were very clean. Greay location for walking to all attractions, bars, and restaurants. When returning to Paris, we would definitely stay here again.

This was my second visit to this incredible hotel! Staff is always helpful and they go out of their way to make your visit special! The team that serve breakfast are incredible! All around great location and staff! Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to many main attractions, which is definitely a plus. However, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The rooms are on the smaller side, and while they were clean, the dark décor made the space feel even smaller and somewhat depressing.

I had a particularly disappointing experience with check-in. Despite requesting an early check-in and being a Bonvoy Ambassador, I didn’t get my room until around 16:30 after arriving at midday. No explanation or apology was offered, which was frustrating.

Breakfast was served à la carte, which was nice, but the selection was quite limited. As for in-room dining, it was really underwhelming—small portions (we ordered a salad and fries) that didn’t match the high price.

The hotel definitely needs to work on improving the guest arrival experience and the staff’s attitude to better reflect the level of hospitality expected from a brand of this caliber, especially given its prime location.

Well, location and architecture are great. We lived dining at the Akira and the top floor rooms are of high standard.
We left felling ripped off nevertheless when the hotel waiter told us that breakfast is included and then the charge 110€ for two coffees and orange juices. A shame that one leaves the hotel disappointed .
Better to look for other options next time
