Hôtel Le Lavoisier & Spa

It's quite a nice hotel. As regards the rooms, they're pretty good: we were at the front of the hotel but the double glazing is very good. We were also by the lift which we never heard: clearly they've done their homework on getting the rooms right (although on the small side). We didn't welcome the pointless 10? cushions that were placed on the bed for which we then had to find homes for (under the bed and in the wardrobe. 🙄. Less impressive were the reception and breakfast staff. The breakfast is very ordinary and 3 women who presumably prepare it, sit in a room adjacent. They ask you your room number and then they go back to chatting, until they want a cigarette; then they head outside and frankly make the hotel look cheap. The receptionist is a young man who similarly when he's not on the internet, is having a fag outside.

The hotel is clean and well located. The breakfast options are mediocre. The prices are exaggerated.

Good review. The room had a floor-to-ceiling window, you can go out onto the balcony. Breakfast is optimal. Minus - a cleaning worker came in, although there was a sign on the door saying that cleaning was unnecessary.

The hotel is clean and room size is good. However, the room we were first assigned to is right next to the lift and it’s making loud noise whenever the lift moves therefore causing us unable to sleep well for the first 2 nights. The staff only managed to change the room for us the following 2 nights. The service provided is not up to a 4 star hotel standard.

The breakfast was ok, staff. The hotel is nicely decorated and very quiet. The location is perfect, the spacious rooms are great♥️

Great hotel with good value for money. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with a comfortable mattress and four pillows. There is enough storage space for a stay of 4-5 days. The shower/bath is combined and there are sufficient toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. The bed is made every day, and you can have the sheets and towels changed when you leave them - for us this was not a problem.

Wifi works well and there is a smart TV, ideal for streaming. The location on a side street of a busy street sometimes causes some noise pollution, but you expect that in a city center. The sound of music in the hallway was sometimes a bit loud, as other travelers have already noted.

We had breakfast outside the hotel, so I can't say anything about that. The two men at the reception were very friendly, but the female receptionist was less enthusiastic and didn't seem to want to interact much.

All in all a good hotel for a short stay, especially for the price you pay!
