Shangri-La Paris

I recently stayed at Shangri-La Paris and had a mixed experience. I had specifically paid for a room with a view, but unfortunately, for the first two days, I didn’t get the room I had booked, which was disappointing—especially considering the high standards expected from a luxury hotel like this.

However, after raising the issue, the hotel finally provided me with the correct room. The next two days were much better, and I must say the view was absolutely breathtaking—definitely worth the wait. The iconic sights of Paris from the room were truly unforgettable, making the experience feel special.

Overall, while the initial inconvenience was frustrating, the hotel did make up for it in the end with the stunning view I had originally hoped for. I’d recommend double-checking your room upon arrival, but once everything is sorted, the experience can be magical.

Upgraded the room type at my own expense. The service was really good and attentive. Every detail was superb. The welcome gift for the children made them very happy. It was a different Shangri-La.

My husband and I hosted our wedding in the historic salons of this stunning hotel. From the initial planning stages until the end of our event, the team, food/drink, venue and experience was exceptional. Every aspect was executed flawlessly—very elegant and meticulous. Thank you for giving my husband and I and all of our guests the most magical evening. I wish we could relive it all again. Highly recommend Shangri-La!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Shangri-la Paris. Spotless room with a big window of tower view, super friendly and urbane staff, nice breakfast although we were so busy that we only had one breakfast at hotel during our five-night stay. Excellent location and great services, we will definitely come again.

The staff at Shangri-La Paris truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we checked in, everyone was so attentive, friendly, and professional. They anticipated our every need without ever being intrusive, and their attention to detail was impeccable. Special mention must be made of the concierge team who helped me plan the engagement surprise down to the finest detail. They arranged for a special champagne toast, and even surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers in our room to commemorate the moment.

The Surprise Engagement:

Thanks to the incredible team at Shangri-La, my surprise proposal went off without a hitch. They made sure everything was seamless and perfectly timed, from arranging the setting to offering discreet assistance when needed. The rooftop terrace was transformed into a dreamy space, and the team’s coordination made the moment feel truly magical. My fiancée was moved to tears by the thoughtful touches and the beauty of the location. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I can’t thank the hotel enough for making this special moment a reality.

Dining & Amenities:

The food was exceptional — each dish was a work of art, and the service was impeccable. We felt like royalty every step of the way, and the ambiance of the restaurant was the perfect blend of elegance and warmth.

In addition, the hotel’s amenities, including the spa and the beautiful gardens, added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. We left feeling completely rejuvenated, and I couldn't imagine a more perfect setting for such a special occasion.

Thierestaurant reminds me of the whole Chinese culture. Jade on the walls, cutlery and dishes along with the cuisine, everything is perfect.
The dumplings are available only during lunch.
The 2 sets of chop sticks, one for serving and another set for eating, was a unique sight.

They also have halal Peking duck.

After having a horrible experience AirBnB we checked in at this hotel. I think this changed our entire perspective on Paris. It was the most magnificent time. Loved our breakfast and every little detail about it. Business Center could be better but everything else is next to none ❤️

Came for the restaurant at Shangri-La, but I was quickly captivated by the stunning design and furnishings. The attention to detail throughout left me wishing I had chosen to stay here. Maybe next time!
