Radisson Blu Champs-Elysées, Hotel

*** recommend avoiding it at all costs***
The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Its proximity to the shopping district and other land marks is convenient if you like walking.

Unfortunately, everything else is not worthy of even a 4 star hotel let along 5 (current rating). The room is quite small compared to other hotels we have been in, even based on Paris standards. The inside temperature was very warm with no functioning AC - we requested a fan but were given a broken one in which the blades barely rotated. So we were left with one option - being outside as we felt more refreshed outdoor.
Breakfast was a joke, I highly recommend getting it from the nearby cafe/restaurant as you are only entitled to one plate ( 2 sunny side up or eggs of your liking) + 20ml of orange juice and a croissant with dry bread. You can easily get a much more decent breakfast elsewhere for less.

We stayed in this hotel 1 week ago and we are very unhappy.

First of all The Radisson hotel is not a 5 star hotel even if it states this , the standard and comfort is way below the 5 star you expect.
Breakfast is more or less a joke.
Room’s are very old.
A/C non functioning.
Elevator is very old and noisy.
Ect. Ect.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Location is no doubt excellent and people at the reception are very friendly and always willing to help, particularly, Jana who goes the extra mile to assist the clients. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade so it can reflect a 5 stars rating.

The only thing worth about this hotel is the location, it is about 100 meters from the Arc of Triumph and Champs Elysee.
The rooms need a serious renovation, the furniture looks old and there was a noise in the bathroom because of the pipes and we could not do anything about it.
The cleanliness of the room leaves a lot to be desired, i had some apple juice in the morning and the housekeepers left the glass dirty, they did not bother to change it.
I seriously do not understand why they have the 5 star hotel badge if it is definitely not a 5 star hotel.
The service is just awful.
Breakfast is served everyday from 7:00h til 10:30h and on weekends til 11:00h but if you arrive at 10:00h the people from the hotel just get a little mad and they serve you but in a bad manner. There is a menu where you can choose between a salty or sweet dish and they have like 2 options of each so not a lot of variety.
I remember one day we had to stand up for our coffee because they had forgotten it after we had told them like 5 times.
And they even told us that if we had arrived at 9:00h the service would be different…
For this price you can get a better hotel maybe not really close to Champs Élysée but somewhere else with much better service.
Oh and they do not have a gym (and they say it is a 5 star hotel haha)
I do not recommend it at all!

Dirty and outdated.

Staff asked me to complain as they are embarrassed by the condition of the hotel.

I sent a complaint and received a form response telling me that a “long due” renovation is “being assessed.” They know that the hotel is in desperate need of repairs and updating, but they rely on the RadissonBlu branding and location to overprice their rooms and scam customers.

Radisson needs to immediately remove their branding. This is an embarrassment to other hotels that actually care about their customers and property.

We were really surprised if not in shock … The hotel is so old and in such a need of a solid renovation . …the furniture are in a bad and completely overused state… You cannot sit comfortably on any of the chairs, everything is about 20 to 25 years in heavy use… the service at the bar is first refusing service because they are in between shifts… new team arrives is 20 minutes… I complain seriously because it is 5 stars… than the lady said we could buy drinks … but she does not know one of the standard drinks… she needs to be stopped to serve 25 year old rum on ice…
