Relais Du Louvre

Nice stay at this hotel, overall good. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, the facilities in the rooms are also quite complete with an iron and electric kettle. The toilet is quite modern with an electric bidet. I love the hotel staff they serving very friendly. One thing that might be unpleasant is the size of the elevator which only fits one person and two pieces of luggage.

The service and location are amazing. The staff were so helpful and kind. There are umbrellas available if it's raining and they helped arrange a taxi to the airport for a very early flight. The room service breakfast is delicious with ham, cheese, bread, croissant, fresh oj and coffee. And the location literally next door to the Louvre and two blocks from Pont Neuf is so convenient for walking to the Latin Quarter, Les Halles, and the metro.

The only thing to consider is the size of the rooms. We originally booked a Classic room with two twin beds. The room (#45) had a cute view of the church but was so small even by Paris standards we could not fit two carry on size suitcases without using the desk and chairs as supports. A luggage rack is provided but there is not enough space to use it and open the closet door or walk around the beds. The tub is constructed such that one has to step up into it making that the bathroom ceiling is quite low.

The hotel was very accommodating and moved us to an executive superior room (#62). This was definitely more spacious with a double sink, plenty of room for the suitcases. There was a tiny balcony off the bathroom but no chairs so I'm not sure what use it is. No view but still got lots of light. Overall a good stay for the location and service but recommend booking a larger room.

Great location very friendly staff nice rooms just wish I didn’t have to sweat while using the toilet or shower as I have to keep bathroom door shut to keep the room cooler besides that no bad things to say comfortable beds

Wonderful hotel steps away from the Louvre and walkable to every major sight. The staff were outstanding and the breakfast room service was worth the upcharge. Note hotel rooms are small in Europe, but this was such a wonderful place to stay. Hilighly recommend.

Friendly, clean, peaceful, comfortable, brilliant location. In the heart of Paris, you can walk or quick metro everywhere. After seven nights, we never wanted to leave!

Small room in prime location: right behind louvre, next to Seine, 3 mins away from line 1 metro station. Highly recommend for someone with limited time in Paris.

Honeymoon perfection.

The location was absolutely amazing, first off - but a Google map search can tell you that.

What I really loved is the room and our experience with the hotel itself. It hit a sweet spot in terms of being intimate without being invasive, charming without being antiquated.

We got the suite, on the theory that, hey - you only honeymoon once, may as well do it right. And while our room isn't particularly huge, the bathroom is ginormous, and our room definitely isn't cramped... I feel like the upgrade was definitely worth it.

There's someone on duty at the front desk 24/7, and while a lot of places say that, they often mean someone's available 24/7, but might not actually be awake or around. Not the case here. Every time I've headed out or come back, no matter how late, someone has been there - which is awfully handy.

If I can ever afford another trip to Paris, the Relais de Louvre would be my first choice. Only reason I might consider somewhere else would be so I could explore a different region of Paris on foot; the location is so convenient we've pretty much walked everywhere.

2024 update - it's our anniversary, so we came back - every bit as amazing as the first time. Charming hotel with delightful, friendly staff. A highlight of my time in Paris.

Across the street from the Louve. Very beautiful spacious rooms that are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and well knowledge. Considering the cost of food in Paris the breakfast in bed was a nice touch.

This boutique hotel is virtually across the street from the Louvre and within walking distance of many of the major attractions (Musee D’Orsay, Seine, Les Halles, Samaritan shopping, Tuileries Gardens). Several good restaurants in the area, a popular local boulangerie and a brasserie where we thoroughly enjoyed a coffee and omelet or charcuterie board and beer. Staff is just terrific and the GM Sophie is incredibly responsive. I was a first time traveler to Paris and used her recommendations to build my itinerary, hire a driver, and create an experience of art, architecture and culture that I’ve dreamed of since I was 10.
The five stars for the room is in recognition of the cleanliness and attention to detail provided by the entire staff. The breakfast was terrific for us and there was even enough to make cheese and butter sandwiches for a snack during our walk-arounds. This hotel is unique and not like a big brand. If you are looking for a European lodging experience in one of the worlds greatest cities, the Hotel Relais de Louvre will be a highlight of your trip.
