Splendid Etoile

The receptionist, who is French Arab wearing glasses, never introduced himself and didn't see his name tag, he was the one who checked us in, he gave us a room where the bed was rusty, there was no support in the middle at all, when you move you get sucked in the middle of the bed, not comfortable at all. OUR BED WAS PRETTY SMALL FOR 2 PEOPLE TOO!
THE BED SHOULD BE FOR 1 PERSON ONLY, BUT HE GAVE IT TO US.
THEY KEPT ALL THE GOOD ROOMS FOR THE MODELS AS IT WAS FASHION WEEK IMAGINE!!! THE RECEPTIONIST SAID THAT HIMSELF! VERY DISAPPOINTING!
CARPET WAS OLD, SMELLY AND NOT CLEAN TOO.
when paying over 2000 Euros for 5 days without even a breakfast, at least you expect comfort and good bed!! but unfortunately after paying a lot of money in this hotel it wasn't even comfortable to sleep and rest in it.
Then at the day of our check-out on 28th September, he was the same receptionist there, he didn't even ask me how was our stay!! very negligent and disrespectful!
I'm extremely disappointed of our stay with them, and won't be visiting them again. I highly don't recommend this hotel. Very expensive, Uncomfortable beds, some rude staff and customer service is ZERO. AND NO HYGIENE.

The property is located in a prime location and is well maintained but the staff is a disgrace. Good manners are not common currency in this hotel apparently. Being a graduate in hospitality, I have experience and knowledge of how guests should be treated when they enter the hotel. When I entered the lobby to wait for a meeting with a client and tried to find a toilet, I was told by the receptionist verbatim - 'you better ask where the toilet is because this is a hotel, not a station'. This kind of attitude was unwarranted and certainly not expected when one enters a 4 star rated hotel. I was extremely put off and decided to change the location of my meeting because I did not wish to be around such rude people anymore. Shameful and unacceptable!
