Stayed at Hotel Malar for one night. My friends and I traveled from the USA to the UK for a wedding and we hopped on the Eurostar train to Paris. Hotel was a little hard to find, our Uber driver just dropped us off and we found it by ourselves. Julian checked us in and he was charming and welcoming. The hotel is small with only 22 rooms with an open garden of flowers and herbs in the back. Though quaint, the location is A+ because its only about 15 minutes walking to the Eiffel Town. The hotel is uniquely decorated with fun pictures around, its eco-friendly and Green Key certified. The lights are motion-sensor throughout, and your door key card operates the lights and appliances in the room. Once the card is removed from cardholder, the electricity is no longer active. There is no elevator so be careful up those wrap around stairs. We got 3 rooms, they were small as well as the bathroom but clean. Surprisingly, the bed was comfortable and I slept well. FYI, bypass the buffet breakfast, it's not worth the cost. Not many food options plus its DIY. I wanted fresh orange juice, had to squeeze about 6 oranges to get a small glass of OJ. One of my friends wanted boiled eggs, she had cook them herself. Overall, the hotel is good for the cost.

(+) location is great if you want to start your tours close to the Eiffel Tower. there’s a very nice bar/restaurant on the corner of the street. The beds were extremely comfortable. Small refrigerator in the room, kettle, hairdryer.
(-) the Wi-Fi did not work the entire time (Desk agent said it was due to some local construction and the whole block was without Wi-Fi, but we found that was not true.). As with many France hotels, the shower was tiny.

Look out for the signs that says 'hotel and pressing'. Refer to my photo for reference. The name of the hotel is on the left side of the entrance, facing the right which makes it difficult to see.
However, the property is walking distance to the metro station and Eiffel Tower. Feels like a backpack inn but its indeed a hotel with a mini lounge, breakfast area and reception. We can hear people and car from the street downstairs but we're totally alright with that. Receptionist are friendly and helpful. Good experience afterall. Thank you. You have to give back your key card to the receptionist everytime before you leave the hotel for the day and collect back upon your return.

Hotel is okey, but there is no elevator , and very narrow stairs, was really difficult to take on 3rd floor my large 25 kilo luggage 🥲 also you can hear everything that happens in the hotel, I’m sleeping with ear plugs and woke up few times per night cause it felt like someone was coming into my room, but that was neighbor door 🙄 shower cabin are very very small. The lady on reception was very kind 🙂 the location are amazing, that’s why I actually stayed there, I came just for 1 night, and the places I wanted to visit were very close! Max 10 min to Eiffel Tower!

Rooms were clean and nice. Beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are small like everyone says. But if you look at the pictures of it you can see how small they are. The showers are REALLY SMALL. Tall enough for me (I'm 6'5") which was a pleasant surprise, however, if you're bigger around the middle it's possible you won't even fit in the doors of the shower. So just be aware of that!

Great stay. Close to several museums and The Eiffel Tower. Tons of food in the area. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

The room and bathroom were small, but clean and sufficient for a couple of nights to sleep. There is no lift, which may be a struggle for some people to get to the 4th floor. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful.

No frills hotel very conveniently located near the Eiffel Tower. Clean, safe...nice room size for a couple...and hospitable staff!

When I was there in March of 2017 I didn't like the fact that we didn't have any Room keys.
