Rethymno Village

Enjoying our vacation at this very moment. Great location, near to the beautiful, clean beach. Good atmosfere in the hotel with great service. Clean rooms, toilets and installation in general. Many restaurants nearby, shops and all what you need for great Hollidays. Good prices, great weather, not so hot and humid as in Spain, where we come from. Near to the hotel there's a City of Rhaethinon, which is great and beautiful place to visit. And the last, the food in the hotel is simply amazing. In the Hotel we have Typical Greek cousine with many variables each time and each day different plates to choose from. Chef is incredibly good 👌. Really recomendable.

Wonderful quite, safe, friendly hotel. Basic but clean. Price reflects what you get when it comes to all inclusive. Food is very tasty and well cooked but not a huge selection especially for children. Nice to be in a town center with shops nearby and the beach within a few minutes walk. I had looked at other hotels but some seem in the middle of no where. Very pleased with my choice.

We had a great experience and would gladly return to this hotel anytime. It’s located about 6–7 km from Rethymno, with a taxi ride costing around €12 + tip. The rooms were very clean, and towels were changed daily. The food was better than expected, not very diverse, but enough variety for everyone to find something they like. A small minus for the coffee, juices, and wine, which weren't great. The big, clean pool with warm water definitely made up for it — a big plus! The staff was very friendly — they even returned my phone after I forgot it in the restaurant. Thank you so much for that! The beach is very close, just a 3-minute walk. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, €10 per set (2 sunbeds + 1 umbrella). The beach in this area is pebbly, with a steep entrance into the sea, so I recommend water shoes. There are plenty of shops and tavernas nearby, plus a tour agency and a car rental office right next to the hotel. Thanks for everything! We’ll happily come back!

Small and quiet hotel. Definitely a hotel for couples. No animation or loud music. Value for money ideal. Rooms as well as the hotel environment clean. Food always fresh.. Beach close to the hotel, rocky. Take shoes for the water! Sun loungers and umbrella pay 10 euro kompet.

Absolutely unbeatable for the price!! I paid £26/night (staying in a room with my boyfriend), which is cheaper than some hostels I've stayed in. The food is fantastic, beer and wine are on tap and self serve however you can purchase cocktails and spirits at a reasonable price. Room was spotless when we arrived and is cleaned daily (except for Sundays). The pool is a little cold, but we are here in October so that is expected. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Very close to the beach and the area around the resort is pleasant. There are some pool tables and extra entertainment for children (which we didn't use, obviously) otherwise the hotel is fairly bare bones, but again for the price, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!! Rethymno old town is a short bus ride away with a bus stop very close to the hotel and such an incredible place to explore.

Was very clean lovely staff food was good I love greek salads and my friends love all pasta dishes and chips and all there pudding but was much more food to choose from so we were satisfied drinks on tap to serve yourself we chilled at night with our own spirits and card games like the rest of the geusts this is a chilled out hotel no entertainment do it urself we needed a break and that is what we got it is what u make ov ur own holiday that makes your holiday thank you xx

Came back yesterday 22nd October from a week at this hotel. It is basic but VERY CLEAN and friendly place. The staff always smiles, very polite and happy to help. The lunch and dinner are tasty and there is always something to choose from, there is always vegetarian option ( fish or seafood) as well as meat options (beef, pork, chicken, rabbit, veal). You cannot expect 5* food if you pay this little for a stay ;-) hence we were happy and did enjoy the food. The only suggestion is to bring some variate or more options for breakfast, I don't eat breakfast but did go with a friend on our first day and it was quite poor comparing to the other meals during the day. Wine and beer free other alcoholic drinks are not but we were not bothered as we rented a car for a week and did a lot of sight seeing :-) Everyone makes out the holidays the way they enjoy it most ;-) I do recommend renting a car as there are a lot of beautiful places within 1hr drive, also when it was cold and cloudy at the hotel location we drove 60min down douth and had a proper summer with clear sky and warm libian sea :-) Rethymno center is 15min by car and is definitely more lively so worth visiting. If you are planning to visit Chania before flying out then do your shopping in Rethymno or around the hotel as the prices are 3 times lower than in Chania. I would return to the hotel for sure again if I wanted a good, clean and friendly place to stay on a budget.

We stayed at the Rethymno village hotel and we could not fault our stay. If you are looking for an all inclusive trip to chill with your family at a reasonable price this hotel ticks the boxes. The rooms are extremely clean and cleaned everyday by the staff who do an amazing job ! The food was great just what you would expect from an all inclusive buffet Greek authentic food every night as well as spaghetti and chips for the fussy children and plenty of ice cream to wash it down with. All inclusive drinks only include the local wine and beef options but you can make do cocktails are charged extra at around 3 euros each which again isn’t bad at all. This hotel was exactly what it described and we would definitely visit again

The Rooms have a lot of space
Are very clean, the housekeeping and maintenance employees do are amazing job
The staff are very friendly and kind.
Breakfast , lunch and dinner come in a buffet
The food is very good and there is more than enough choice.
The location is 6 km from the old venetian harbour and 100 meters from the beach
We are definitely coming back next year

We are currently here with our 1 year old son. The staff have been absolutely amazing with my child, and the rooms are lovely and clean. The food is really great, only thing I could say bad is that my child doesn’t like the food as he is a picky eater but again, taste is subjective and we didn’t expect anything more. Thankyou to everyone for making our stay amazing. We will definitely be returning😚
