Mary Hotel & Mary Royal Suites

We had a lovely time here! As a single mom traveling with teenage boys, I felt so welcomed and supported. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful — always ready to assist with planning day trips that suited our little family. The hotel is perfectly located: close to the beach, nice local restaurants, shops, and just a short trip to the beautiful town of Rethymnon. The food was delicious, and we truly enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I loved the beautiful decor and vibe in the hotel— very inviting and tastefully done. The boys enjoyed the gym and the pool table. Top of the bill: every time we arrived or left, we were greeted with a big smile and a genuine ‘kalispera’. It made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!

From when we arrived until we left, the staff could not do anymore for us. The location was perfect for both the small town and the excellent beach. The hotel was spacious as were the rooms/apartments. Lovely view from our 1 bedroom apartment over the pool and very quiet bar. If you wanted food you could get snacks small meals in the bar or you could shop at any of the local supermarkets. Staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff were excellent and very thorough. All in all excellent place to spend quality time on your holiday

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-organized. Breakfast offered a nice variety each morning, and the pool area was lovely—with both pools including a baby pool, which was perfect for families.

I have just returned from my 6th stay at Mary Hotel. As always the warm welcome and hospitality received is second to none, the hotel has a calm, relaxing atmosphere, is spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. The newly renovated reception is a lovely area to sit and relax in and the renovated breakfast buffet area, having been enlarged and with the addition of more hot plates, now offers even more choice of delicious traditional dishes, which change everyday, along with the homemade cakes, pies, meats, cheese and fruit etc. Thank you to Jenny for the lovely homemade dishes and jams which my family and I really enjoyed. There are lots of sun beds and two lovely swimming pools and a baby pool to choose from so there is plenty of opportunity to relax and cool off. With the beach just a few steps away down the road to the left and the shops, tavernas, supermarkets, bus stops and taxis to the right at the top road everything is very convenient. I highly recommend at a stay at Mary Hotel and Mary Royal Suites, whether exploring the island or looking for a relaxing few days.

Lovely place. Quiet with very friendly staff. All rooms are clean and functional. Cleaners came every day, and replaced our towels. We enjoyed it so much we have booked for next year. Two lovely pools to choose from, no rush for sunloungers as there’s always some available. There is a gym with very good equipment like free weights and machines. If self catering you can purchase breakfast for 15 euros. Food is available throughout the day and are freshly prepared. Food/drinks reasonable price matching the local bars/restaurants. We kept our room until 3pm instead of vacating at 11am. At no extra cost. There are luggage storage and showers available for getting ready before departing. Beach close by although it’s a bit rough and stoney. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby all of very good standard. Use trip advisor to search as we did and we ate well for good value. Bus stops nearby to travel Into the city. You have to get a ticket from the kiosk nearby or supermarket first though. These were €1.40 each way per person. Taxi into city is €12 each way. Would highly recommend this hotel. We had a lovely stay. Thank you and see you next June.

Wonderful family hotel that is clean, well organized, and very close to the beach and local restaurants. The staff is extremely welcoming, it feels like a home away from home. We have stayed at a number of hotels in Reythemno, Mary Hotel & Suites is our favorite, we have stayed there three times and plan to stay there again in the future. Highly recommended.

The place is very clean, beds are so comfortable, staff are adorable, very welcoming hotel, really care about their guests comfort, nothing is too much to ask, a great week my children and me had, we will definitely come back and stay in the near future. Thank you so much Clare Williams x

Such lovely hospitality. Our apartment had everything we needed and the location was a short stroll away from a lovely stretch of beach. The staff worked tirelessly to provide us with wonderful service. Thank you for a fantastic stay to everyone here.

Our first Greek Island holiday was 46 years ago and we have visited seven islands in total. We fell in love again with the way of life, the very friendly people, the food, the beaches, the tavernas, everything! Mary Hotels and Apartments scores so highly for the building designs, the glorious pool, the location on the island, the proximity to a beautiful beach and shops, but most of all the wonderful staff. Every member of staff was cheerful, happy to help and so polite. We had a self catering apartment with a pool view and private balcony where you can watch the amazing sunsets and listen to the music from the bar below. The accommodation was to a very high standard and very comfortable after a full day of travelling around the island sightseeing. If you have a choice between a Mary apartment and anywhere else on the island, choose the Mary apartment, you will be delighted!

My husband & I booked a week here after seeing the consistently excellent reviews, we weren’t disappointed! The place is immaculately clean, apartment was cleaned daily and my pyjamas folded and on the bed which I thought was a nice touch. Plenty of kitchenware to use and we regularly cooked our own breakfast or dinner in the room. Beach is a 5 minute stroll away and there’s a car rental at the end of the road we rented a car from for a few days as well. Spent a day at the pool and it’s lovely and quiet with plenty of sun loungers available to use. Lots of places to eat nearby. My husband had a nasty fall one day whilst out and about and after noticing his bandages the staff were v caring asking about how he felt & the guy (I assume manager/owner) checked up on him every day after that to see how he was. Would definitely stay again in future.
