Ambrosia Suites

Lovely room and bathroom. Good location round the corner from the hop on hop off bus. Easy to get to from the metro from the airport. Check in was efficient and simple. Store for luggage My only negative and this is very personal so not on the hotel. We were in room 21A which was right on the main road and unfortunately I am a super light sleeper so got no sleep from the traffic noise horns and sirens (your in a city) my partner however slept through this so it defiantly is very personal. Note to sell to email ahead to hotels in the future and ask for a quiet area of the hotel. At about midnight I put my AirPods on noise cancelling which helped until they died 🙈. Would I stay here again - yes if I could request a room away from the main road. Had we been there for a second night I would have asked to change rooms.

A great, affordable hotel in an excellent location for sightseeing in Athens. The friendly and helpful staff ensure cleanliness, and the breakfasts are excellent. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. It is conveniently located near a metro station and tourist bus stops. Despite the area's folkloric character, it is completely safe, with visible police patrols - when this ‘folklore’ disrupts the nighttime quiet, cleaning services can be seen working on the adjacent streets.

We stayed in Ambrosia suites as part of a Wowcher mystery holiday and were more than happy! The hotel itself is just what you need for a city break - clean, comfy and well priced! The area where the hotel is isn’t the best but as long as you mind your business, people will too! I probably wouldn’t recommend going out at night as a solo female traveller but you’re fine in groups! The staff were really friendly and we felt very safe in the hotel

The room is nice and relatively clean.

The customer service was excellent. Everyone was nice, especially George in the afternoon at the reception( extremely friendly and funny). The rooms were nice. you would get your typical room service every day, including new towels and clean thw room. The breakfast was also nice. It included scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, natural greek yoghurt , cereals, a variety of bread ham cheese, and so on. The only downside was the area. It is located in a bad area full of drug addicts and homeless people. Although unpleasant to see, I still felt safe, and nothing happened at all despite warnings from taxi drivers. You have a nice square near the hotel with a lot of restaurants and dessert places and it is also located near the underground which is very convenient.
