The Artist Athens in Athens

We stayed at The Artist Athens hotel for three nights in September and loved it! It is a charming contemporary boutique hotel in a great part of the city - easy walking distance from the important sites and near lots of cool restaurants and bars. The rooms were clean and new and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given we were under the rooftop bar/restaurant! The bar was lovely with a great view and you need to check it out. There are wine tastings and cooking classes that are highly recommended. The staff was wonderful, and there was a beautiful breakfast offered. We will definitely stay there on our next trip - thank you The Artist Athens!

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent hotel. Absolutely EVERYTHING was perfect in every detail. (They even upgraded us to a Junior Suite) The rooms, the breakfast, the cleanness and most of all the staff which gives you the feeling that they love what they do. After staying in Athens in 5 and 4star hotels over the years this place became our favourite and we'll return for sure!

enjoyed my two night stay here- Hotel is VERY clean, breakfast is five stars, room spacious, airy, and bright. Room service came in while I was at breakfast for both days and cleaned up and replaced towels. Location can't be beat, hotel is definitely an oasis. nice chill music vibe as well. We had a cool time here cooking "authentic" Greek food with a chef. Most of it was good, he promised to teach us how to make filo dough though, and fell short of that promise. Overall a hood experience, but a bit pricey at around 100 euros per person. You get to keep the recipes at the end, and eat the food you cook. So don't screw it up!

From checking in to checking out, we have seen nothing but friendliness, from front desk to breakfast staff. People there going out of their way to help and make our stay pleasant and comfortable. A big shoutout to Lampros whose knowledge of foods and restaurants gave us incredible recommendations for dinning around the hotel, made our staying in this hotel more enjoyable and standing out to any other hotels we had ever been.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Athens, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The service was outstanding – the hotel staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and well taken care of.

The rooms were clean, well-organized, and very comfortable, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast – a rich, fresh, and delicious selection, perfect for starting the day in the best way possible.

Without a doubt, I will return to this hotel on my next visit to Athens. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-quality hospitality experience!

As a restaurant, we were cautious that this might be flashy but it's genuinely good. Great service, quick and friendly and the waiters were great with tasting notes for pairings. Great quality and unusual food. Enough for vegetarians (though no special version of the tasting menu) and some great wines.

Hotel breakfast is very generous, the bread basket has assorted Greek pastries in addition to bread. Wide selection of main courses to choose from and best of all, it ends at 11am, later then most hotels. Sound insulation can be slightly better. Like the terrace garden on second floor too. Only issue is that shower ceiling has a beam which is slightly low so sometimes bump slightly into it.

Fabulous hotel! Very clean, new, fantastic rooftop bar and restaurant. Location might look weird, but it’s just a heritage from the past. Very centrally, but quiet!

I will admit, I was a little concerned about almost any hotel in Athens from all the reviews I was reading but this hotel seemed the best so I gave it a try. I do not regret it one bit! Their service was amazing, the rooms are very clean, modern, water pressure is amazing, cleaned everyday, and breakfest everyday in the morning with a variety of options. I personally didn't like the breakfest but it is A LOT better than most hotels you will see. Front desk was amazing, offered welcome drinks, and was very clear. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone visiting. Only downside is they have very few rooms so geting a room reserved is not easy. Location is great, right next to the center, metro station that takes you to the airport directly, and all the shopping and eating places. Also, there is a rooftop bar with affordable prices that looks directly at the Acropolis! Thank you for an amazing experiance making my trip unforgettable!

Edit: I gave it a 4/5 because the breakfest wasn't my favorite, aside from that, it was outstanding!
