K8 Apart-hotel

The most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen . Property was informed about our late check in since booking. Two hours before our arrival, at 2330 I received a message that they won’t be able to accommodate us . We found our selfs at midnight trying to find somewhere to spend the night.

This is a scam, a complete tourist trap. The apartment is stinky and unappealing. When we got there, we expressed our disappointment for what we saw and they immediately offered us a refund, which they didn't give us!!!! They tricked me into not calling booking assistance by saying that they will take care of the issue. After ignoring me for two weeks they sent me a message, blackmailing me, to remove my review in order to refund me. Avoid by all means!!!!!!

This place is easily in the worst 3 travelling experiences of my life: after I had booked my room, somebody called me right away asking for my arrival time, to which I mistakenly replied 8pm, and saying they will send me an access code soon. Realizing my mistake right after we had hung up, I sent them a message saying I‘ll actually arrive around midnight (I didn‘t see that check-in time was until 11pm according to booking, but then again I actually expected a reception because I filtered by hotels on the app and the place clearly has the word hotel in its name). No answer the entire day. I wrote another message in the evening, no answer. When I arrived at the place shortly before midnight and there was nobody there, I called 12 (!) times without any answer. After a couple of minutes, I received a message saying I should look for another accommodation because this one is cancelled since I arrived outside check-in times. They ignored me the entire day knowing that I said I would arrive outside check-in time and cancelled my stay once I arrived - this is not how you treat your guests, my friends.

We had a bad experience at K8 Athens. The place itself is meager in terms of amenities. Not clean. Doesn't look like pictures on listing. We had some of belonging stolen and the property made no effort to reimburse us. Look elsewhere if you are staying in Athens. Would never, ever stay here again.
