Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was good too. Location is a bit secluded in a side lane off the Main Street but overall still accessible to the central area

It’s nice experience it’s second time in this hotel I had a good room and comfortable

Stayed for 3 nights during the Athens Marathon weekend. Breakfast was great ! The hotel had only 1 elevator for all the guests though :(
Those concerned about noise levels take note - there are two or three nightclubs along the same street, and the music can get PRETTY LOUD during the night time...request for a higher floor if you are a light sleeper!

Not close to the city center, so you have to take a 5-7€ taxi to get to the areas with entertainment and dining. The breakfast buffet is nice. The surrounding area is safe, but looks sketchy at night.

We booked it last second for 3 nights. The room is ok for two persons. The hotel in total is nothing special. The receptionist at night was not very helpful when we said there are small flies in the bathroom and killed them by her finger, saying she grew up in village and it is normal. But she gave us toiletries and did her best to provide us comfort. Breakfast is 1-2 stars. Location is almost central and you can reach center in 15-20 mins but at night (after 21) we did not feel safe in the neighborhood as two girls because of prostitution and homeless addicts.

This was my families 1 visit to Athens, Greece yet,I would recommend for you to read our experience to decide if this hotel is fitting for your visit...
Our first day checkin was fine. Young lady up front was super sweet and helpful. We did not checkin to our room until 2 pm & she allowed us to get coffee. We assumed we could get breakfast too but as we were grabbing breakfast she said it was not included yet since our rooms would be ready in the afternoon, I’m assuming. We were charged €15 for each of the four of us, so €60 for small pick item breakfast.
Next evening, we headed to our room and a painter had painted the doors & had no “wet paint” signs,my moms bag & nice blouse got black paint on the front. we saw the painter putting up a sign AFTER he had painted the elevator. We told him it got on our bag and showed him and he comes up to us with a dirty paint towel and paint thinner to attempt to remove it. We backed away as I knew that would only spread the black.
We then went downstairs to the counter and told the lady up front. She told us to calm down even though there was no screaming or aggressive agitation, just extremely annoyed. She said we could use a towel to take it off, we tried that already and if it came out, we would not have come downstairs. My mother then says “so you would not be upset if this happened to you?” And in a snarky remark, the downstairs lady says, “no actually I wouldn’t. Our people are not like your people. This is not a big deal to us, these things.” The attitude and disrespect she displayed not acknowledging our frustration in YOUR hotel is truly unacceptable. We then requested the managers name and she gave us one manager’s name of whom would not be there tomorrow. Which of course, is not helpful.
We went back to our room in frustration and disappointment. About 10 minutes later, we got a call to our room that they would like their dry cleaners to attempt to take out the black paint on the backpack and on the shirt. She came to our room 15 minutes after and gave us a bottle of wine and two glasses saying she did not want anybody to be upset or agitated because she saw how frustrated we were. We made it clear how it wasn’t necessarily the item that was damaged, but the place we got it which has sentimental value.
The next day we are going downstairs to get our bag and shirt. We mentioned how we noticed there were still some paint on the bag and my mom wanted it to be paid for as it was a nice shirt. The lady says we need a receipt for the shirt before she could do anything but then she will give us €300 for the shirt. My mom bought the shirt in Florida years ago, she did not have the receipt with her in Athens. Makes sense? No. My grandma said that it was fine, but can they comp us the €60 for breakfast the first day since we did not know we needed to pay for breakfast. They eventually did comp us the €60 for the breakfast the first day after continuous back-and-forth. Not to mention, they have a sign that says Tuesday through Sunday the rooftop bar is open for an extended period of time yet it was closed and when we mentioned it was closed, they defensively snapped back, saying that there were no signs even though the dog was in the table and outside the hotel door.
The point of this review is that the customer service at this hotel is terrible. They are rude, snarky, disrespectful, and dismissive. Yet, it only seemed to be the evening front desk crew as that young lady the first day was super sweet.
It is always important to read reviews and other peoples experiences as I am posting this to share how the hotel handled the situation and how you would feel or react if something similar were to occur. If you don’t care about customer service, the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable enough. The showers are quite slippery and water splashes out of the shower, but other than that, the rooms are secure. I strongly recommend you continue your search for a hotel in Athens, Greece if this is the one you were initially considering.
Walls are also thin. Can hear everything.

My room is located in a floor below the ground floor. Bed is comfortable. The room has air condition and charger next to the bed. There is a small living room with sofa, which is impressive. The shower head is not in a very good condition, water spilled to everywhere. Water leak out from the shower area although there is a glass door separated the toilet and the shower area. Luckily there is a step up from the toilet and my room, otherwise the water will definitely leak out to the room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available. Walking distance to underground station. Breakfast is very standard.

The staff were amazing and helpful
Receptionists were very kind and assisted us in any way they possibly could.
The hotels location made it easier for us to explore Athens ( walking distance in most tourist destinations )

Surely recommend Trendy Hotel

One of my worst experiences on all levels to be frank.
Extremely expensive for what it has to offer.
Whilst the room itself is ok and it looked clean, tidy and modern at a first glance,i was shocked about what had to follow.
First off,the shower is totally blocked and after 1 minute in the shower process you had a pool underneath your feet.
On the day of check out,i woke up to a bed filled with small ants which gave me a mega shock.
I went down to eat breakfast and there were 2 young girls in the reception(31st of may) and told them about the event.
The greek one just brushed it off and downplayed the issue like it was a common event that i had to cope with.
I asked for an half hour extra for my check out and she responded that it has to be sharp 11:00 cause they have arrivals😳
This response blew my mind.I mean i just told you,you let me sleep in a bed full of ants and you give me that kind of attitude?
You should roll a red carpet to the customer that has been through that experience.
I could report them to the sanitary, health services and create a bunch of issues for you.
Whoever the manager is,just educate your staff in customer service.
Ina(if i recall her name right) working the night of check in was wonderful, responsive & attentive.
The response from the housekeeper as well was nice.We found together the ant trail, coming from the balcony and she apologized 10 times although it is not her fault.
On another note, the breakfast was very nice and that was it.

Location is at Omonia Square, people wrote so many things about how sketchy the place is. Actually, its not that much of a big deal seeing a homeless or drunk people in the streets and somehow I did not see any. Overall very p/p hotel. Breakfast was good enough too.
