Very lovely hotel. Close to everything while in a peaceful location. The staff is so kind and sunny. The rooms are neat and have everything you need. The restaurant has vert delicious food. Thank you🥰

We came for dinner on our first night of our holiday. The staff are kind and attentive. The food was glorious. The ocean view was beautiful. I think we will be coming back here again soon!

We stayed at Akasti for 4 nights as part of our Greek island hopping trip, Chania was the first leg of our travels and we could not have asked for a better start to our travels. If you are expecting 5 star facilities then this is not for you, but if you are after a locally run hidden gem then I can not recommend this enough. The room was spacious with high quality AC, very comfortable bed and a bathroom with everything you could ask for. We had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the pool and sea. As well as this, the location is perfect! With a bus stop less than a minute away, for €1.50 you can be in Chania town in 20 mins. Additionally, there is a huge choice of beaches, cafes and scenery right on your doorstep. The hotel felt incredibly secure and the staff were very welcoming and kind. Please don’t let other reviews put you off from coming here!

Terrible conditions. Old, dirty, run down and very bad smelling rooms. Equipment is all rusty, dirty, everything looks 30 years old seriously. Bathroom is old, dirty, poor. We checked in, and checked out right after seeing our room. Neighborhood is also bad, no beach within walking distance, although the property is right in front of the beach, but you cannot swim or even sunbathe there. We did not try the restaurant since we left immediately, but it also looked very old and low quality (eg the fridge was full of rust on the outside).

Photos on booking are misleading, we left immediately after we arrived and manager didn't offer any refund for the 6 nights paid in advance. Please check the photos we took today, they show the real condition of the rooms.
