The hotel was nice, even though the room was a bit small. The view was beautiful, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast. I will definitely come back again.

This is the worst hotel in Greece from Athens all the way to Heraklion in Crete to Chania. If you were in a three-star hotel for 1,000 a night, I would think you were pretty good, but if you said that you were in a five-star hotel for 2,400 a night, I would find it ridiculous. We spend two special night here. The rooms were well designed, the breakfast was superb, and the service was flawless. Was also very nice to have our own private pool with a view out over the city and lighthouse. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a tranquil break and a chance to recharge.

The hotel is very nice, but for some room (our room, deluxe room with private pool and sea view) private pool it’s not actually private because you can see the neighboring terrace. We stayed in History! The original stonework was kept when rebuilt. Stayed in the mosaic suite, absolutely stunning, big shower, very comfortable bed ( queen +) Double glazed windows so you don't hear the night life. We had booked the hotel for 2 nights.Unfortunately though we needed to stay only for 1 night.We called then and emailed them in time and they said on the phone that they would help to find a solution on the missed night.All they did is to to charge us as normal for 2 nights although we stayed for 1 and they didn’t even bother to manage our frustration.I’m not coming back to this hotel.

I spent 6 nights in this nice hotel in early September 2025. It is greatly located at the heart of Chania Old City. The room was very spatious with a big terrace. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay for five days in November. We felt like we were at home not in a hotel. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the lighthouse. We were arriving very late to the hotel and she sent me a personalized video of how to enter the hotel, access the key for the room and how to use the air conditioning and patio door in the room. Stunning location. Nice staff in the moment, however, non responsive via email and phone after check out. The Jacuzzi did not work, we didn’t find this out until 1 am. The downstairs shower leaked badly on the entire bathroom floor almost flooding the bath room. Perfect private hotel experience We were thankful we chose the Epavli Boutique Hotel! This was a fantastic experience. The hotel is small, meaning there are only a handful of guests at any one time which was perfect. There are restaurants and places for morning coffee within a 3 minute walk.
