Our stay at Royal Sun was wonderful. We enjoyed very comfortable rooms, nice pool area, excellent breakfast and dinner in Michelin-class restaurant The Hill with an amazing view over Chania city. The free transfer service to Chania Old Town and back (shuttle bus goes every 30 minutes) offered by hotel is definitely a plus! Instead of having three, the hotel is absolutely worth four stars.

We arrived at the hotel and didn't regret it for a moment. It was worth every euro, the hotel offers a lot - car rental, transportation to the city and back, breakfasts, and a restaurant that is open from morning until night (also very good). No matter the room size, facilities or hotel service, they are all excellent

This is the worst hotel in Greece from Athens all the way to Heraklion in Crete to Chania. If you were in a three-star hotel for 1,000 a night, I would think you were pretty good, but if you said that you were in a five-star hotel for 2,400 a night, I would find it ridiculous. The view from the outdoor areas was stunning and countered the dates indoor facilities especially the rooms. This is clearly not a 5 star hotel. The meals are all buffet style and the layout makes it difficult to navigate and work out what to select. Excellent! The 24 hour staff provided us with helpful guidance with anything we requested or needed. We may opt for an ocean view next time and request a fan in the room. We went there during the off-season. There were almost no shops open around on Sundays, but the city center was a half-hour walk away and it was quite lively. The air conditioning in the room did not heat the room, the balcony was large, and there were not many types of breakfast.

Our cruise ship was detoured here due to high winds and dangerous surf. We emailed the resort and asked for a day pass, which they offered to us. Not 5* lovely reception area and relaxation terrace but needs some maintenance in places and staff although friendly and helpful need training to get things working more smoothly. Lovely quite spot and well needed rest.

I and my family liked a hotel a lot. The intertaimant team Dorota and Marro the best!!! All inclusive is nice for family with children.

This is a 5* resort from top to bottom. We will definitely go back, lush room 216 with a view you just keep looking at. Staff amazing.
