Chania Town, Gianni Paizi 36 🧭 Map
Very nice hotel, clean, with big rooms.
Room service is great, every day they refill our coffees. We can ask them to refill our water containers, thus saving plastic bottles.
The staff is amazing, always smiling and nice.
It has a huge pool overooking Chania town and a nice gym. We couldn't use the pool, as it was winter, but the gym we liked a lot.
You better have a car to move around, but they also...
Modern hotel with clean rooms and well-maintained bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent, offering panoramic views of Chania from the dining area. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a non-alcoholic drink. The free hotel shuttle is very convenient (just coordinate the time with the host). The property also features a nice outdoor pool and a useful self-service laundry, free except for detergent capsules
Nice hotel, a little bit out from the old town however there is a mini bus that is put on for guests every half an hour at no extra cost (pick up & drop off). Great view from the hotel and is peaceful all the time.
Breakfast options are good with a varied selection. The evening meals here were very nice (the beef ragu is worth mentioning as it was delicious even though the portion size was a little...
While this hotel is not really close to the city center, it makes that up by its awesome view above the city.
Our room was clean and a bit bigger at other hotels we stayed at crete.
What makes this hotel exceptional is the excellent service. We had to leaver early and the prepared a breakfast box for taking with us.
The hotel restaurant has great food and one of the best views for watching the sunset...
We had an amazing stay at the Royal Sun from Aug 21- Aug 28. A wonderful hotel, close to the airport and overlooking Chania - what a wonderful view!
There are many excellent amenities: a large, clean pool with loungers, plentiful buffet breakfast, laundry facilities and shuttle into town.
A special thank you to front desk staff: Maria, Nikolas, Emma and Vaia. We truly appreciated their assistance with...
royal sun is the most incredible hotel i’ve stayed at! facilities and amenities are amazing and similar to that of a 5 star hotel. from the free laundry room, free shuttle to and from town, on-site car rental, daily excursions, delicious breakfasts to the rooftop restaurant with stunning sunset views, every area was so thoughtfully planned out. service was exceptional too! staff were extremely helpful...

Nice staff, great breakfast which you can enjoy outside and nice confortable rooms. The staff was very welcoming and helpful The breakfast was quite tasty and fresh The price also I find quite cheap for 5 nights that we stayed Overall very nice hotel, with nice rooms and location Would recommend
Great location in Chania. Wonderful complimentary buffet breakfast!
A beautiful modern hotel located on the edge of the old town with a stunning roof top bar where you can watch the sun set. The room we stayed in was spacious with a comfy bed and a nice quiet air-con system. The room also had a fridge/safe Our shower was v powerful and toiletries are provided along with slippers and hairdryer. If I was to return to Chania I would definitely stay in this hotel...
Very comfortable rooms and a great location.
We loved the old town vibe and having a superb breakfast, sitting outside, seeing Chania waking up.
You get great value for a good price, no doubt.
No parking at the hotel but we managed to park at the public square Talos. This has free spots and is only within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Hotel is in old town and easily accesible to any where. Rooms were clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and everyday they are making room up. Breakfast in the morning has lots of kinds, I especially liked local olive so much. Rooftop pub has a nice view and prices are affordable. And most important one, everyone working at the hotel is friendly, sincere, polite and helpful.
We had a great stay at the El Greco hotel. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a balcony room to a suite which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the bedding of excellent quality, the pillows, superb, and the shower fantastic. Breakfast was really good, and there was a lot of choice, all of good quality. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and I can thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here as part of a group of 18. We had been told that we would get upgraded rooms. But when we checked in, they were standard. And the hotel was full. Hard to make excuses as we booked the trip in November almost a year before.
The hotel is clean, large, and ordinary. Very much like the box hotels you would find in the United States.
They have elevators.
Location is good.

Kriti hotel and staff service was exceptional! We hosted a small group for a week at the property and everything was so smooth. Guest rooms were clean and exactly what they promised, the pool side breakfast and pool area was wonderful and quiet. The meeting space was perfect and the location was so convenient, we could walk everywhere. A huge shout out to Yvonne, Georgios and all the front desk staff...
We stayed here last year and when we needed another night in Chania before joining a trip it was the obvious place to come. As before, we were made very welcome at Reception as we arrived even later than we had said. The room and breakfast were as good as we remembered.
I had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect- you can walk to many areas, and I only needed a taxi to and from the airport. The rooms were impressively quiet; I never heard my neighbors once. The pool was lovely, and breakfast was delicious with a nice variety, plus it stayed open late, which was a great surprise if you want to sleep in.
The staff really stood out- they were incredibly helpful...
The most professional and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet is unmatched in its quality and diversity of options. Hot items like eggs and fresh breads and juice were a plus. The pool is lovely and clean. The location is perfect to walk into town within minutes.
stayed in double sea front view room which was lovely, beds where comfy, breakfast was nice.
The staff where all lovely and the pool was nice to cool off on lazy days with drink and food served directly to you on the sunbeds. I will be booking again next year.
There is a stadium of sorts across the road so was able to watch some shows from our balcony which was a plus for us, but they did extend until...

Excellent location. Excellent staff & service. Room new, clean, AC, fridge, great balcony overlooking town & sea. Breakfast had fantastic choice, very fresh. Great value for what was paid overall. Bus station less than 5 mins walk to go elsewhere or to/from airport. Nothing to say negative, everything was perfect.
Nice hotel in a good location. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, good rooms.
Great little hotel in the heart of Chania. Really friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Location is fantastic. And really good value for money
I have a critique to make, but first, I want to say that the hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent, and it's also above the best café in the city (Monogram).
However, after arriving to the room, I noticed that there was no toilet paper in the room. Mistakes happen; we are all human. I called the reception, and the lady had me search the room for the toilet paper. When I confirmed that there...
Great location very clean rooms. Super location and the hotel next door does valet parking. Great price and lovely breakfast.
Thank you x
We had a great stay. Unfortunately, for us, we were only there one night, but the bed was the most comfortable we experienced on our trip. The rooms were clean and well appointed and light decor made them feel airy and spacious. The Hotel Porto Veneziano is by far one of the best locations for Chania. The view from our 3rd floor balcony was amazing. Perfect for a glass of wine and the view in the evening. Friendly bar tender and the included breakfast was delicious. As I said the...
Spectacular location — close to everything with excellent service! The only downsides were that the room was very small (barely enough space for two medium-sized suitcases) and that the à la carte breakfast was charged separately, with prices not listed on the menu. It would be helpful if the property clearly displayed breakfast prices to avoid surprises..
Had a wonderful stay at Porto Veneziano. I had booked a sea view double room with balcony and was upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious with so much choice of both cold and hot dishes which were cooked to order. Good location in the edge of the old town. Strange entrance where you have to climb upstairs in order to get the elevator. Weird disabled lift where you have to climb over the metal bannister to get the lift.
Very good basic hotel friendly and helpful staff
Very clean and well situated
Bathroom was very clean & modern. Bedroom was clean as well with a comfortable bed. Big terrace / balcony area with a great view.
Breakfast was great value for money with lots of tasty options, I even saved the sandwich everyday for my lunch due to the filling options provided.
Location was dead centre in Chania allowing great accessibility to all the local sights, restaurants & views.
Location was good for bus station and old town. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night as we had to catch flight the next day. The only disappointment was that the roof terrace was closed off and we was looking forward to a telaxing drink and view of the town.
Good location, at 5-10 minutes walking distance from the port, not in a loud area but close to the city center, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, nice large balcony. Cons: the bathroom doesn't have any type of hangers or shelves for the towels/toiletries; the place feels a bit old; no parking place, but we found public parking on Mark. Mpotsari street and nearby streets (10 minutes...
Great location and really helpful staff, the rooms are basic but all you need. Only issue we had to make others aware of is the cleaner leaves the balcony doors slightly open after cleaning (assume for fresh air) and we had some items stolen, we assume from the neighbouring balcony as only they could access this and they checked out the same day. So would recommend asking for cleaners to keep doors...

This hotel was in a great location, the staff was very helpful, a bit noisey as you are so near the harbour but that cannot be helped.
The staff was very friendly and helpful on helping with taxi’s. The breakfast was also very good and a nice table area. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The hosts at Nostos Hotel were immensely kind and helpful, sourcing trip info, timetables, and booking taxis. The building was full of character and beautifully decorated. Location was incredible with gorgeous balcony views (being on the harbour front meant there was noise into the evening, but the vista across the water was unbeatable). Thank you for a great stay.
Amazing spot, very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
Lovely little hotel right by the harbour.
A lovely little hotel about 2 metres from the harbour!
I was greeted by a super friendly gentleman on reception who showed me my room and gave me a map of Chania Old Town.

George was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. He provided many recommendations for breakfast and dinner. He also arranged our taxi to airport.
He made the time in Chania very enjoyable
The location is great, though it can be a little difficult to find on first arrival. The staff is very, very helpful. The free parking is on the street or in public lots nearby.

Charming Hotel in the old Town. In a lively neighborhood, still very quiet.

Excellent experience, we enjoyed so much the location as well as the amazing service in Captain Vasilis. And the room was so pretty! Definitely recommend
Highly recommend! The location was amazing.. short walk to everything, including the parking area outside of the old town. Great communication prior to our stay and met with a friendly face. Family run business in a converted house which was filled with beautiful period features. Delicious breakfast with gorgeous terrace/courtyard views. Clean and comfortable room! Very affordable, extremely happy...
Very authentic small hotel inside the old town and on a quiet street. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The owner Vasilis was friendly and kind Person. Breafkast made fresh every morning from local products. Restaurants and sandy beach on a walking distance. This place was a perfect base to explore Chania.
Excellent hotel run by the owner. He did everything and made our stay enjoyable, Vasilis provided great recommendations for where to visit and eat. But one standout is just how beautiful the hotel is and where it is located. You are front and center over the water and staying in the hotel takes you back in time. Living in old town is where you want to be and this is the best hotel to do that. Everything...

Fabulous hotel. Lovely room and a great location. Stylish decor and sympathetic to its origins. The courtyard for breakfast and up the stairs for a chill are beautiful. A minute from the harbour and minutes from the old town and it's restaurants. Highly recommended 👌
Perfectly located little hotel close to Chania port and the beach of Nea Chora. Comfortable rooms, a charming courtyard where a varied and generous breakfast is served, roof terrace with a view. Best of all are the people who run the hotel. When my first night was marred by loud noise from a club nearby, they went to talk with the owner who subsequently turned the volume down. That is the true spirit...
We loved this hotel. Beautiful location on a gorgeous little street in the old town. Loved the decor. Breakfast was home made and tasty and the owner was extremely lovely. We only stayed for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer.
Wonderful boutique style hotel in the Old Town, just off the harbour. Highly recommend this hotel. Lovely, clean room with a big bed and air conditioning. Balcony overlooked oldctiwn and was a great place to sit and soak up the atmosphere (we had room 9). Fabulous roof terraces, and beautiful courtyard for breakfast. Perfect location for Old Town, but also only 10 - 15 mjns walk to the beach. All...
A unique boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Town where you’re treated as family. Wonderful service, the hotel boasts a selection of delicious Cretan and western breakfasts served in the courtyard. Every room is different, offering all mod cons whilst maintaining the exquisite features of its Venetian/Ottoman infrastructure.
This hotel is off the Main Street and is absolutely adorable. The upstairs rooftop offers a great view of the city. The breakfast is out of this world and is 1st class. The hotel staff was very accommodating and super friendly.
