I stayed in kriti Hotel for 2 nights. The room was very good. The only problem was the noise from the air system especially during the night. All the hotel staff are very polite, they're always smiling and ready to answer all your questions. The location of the hotel and the parking spaces around it are worth it. By far one of the best hotels in Chania.

Enjoyed my stay here! Clean rooms, enough space for what you need. Great location, 10 mins from the centre, but also a quiet location away from noise. Pleasant staff. Decent breakfast options. Would recommend.

Amazing hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of Chania's main city centre but still within walking distance to all of the attractions. I was a bit hesitant to book here with some noise-related issues in some reviews but there were no noise issues at all! All rooms face the public garden which closes at 11 pm each night. Everything was great !!! The location is perfect, there is a parking at the hotel. The breakfast was really wonderfull. I recommend Avra City Hotel and if I come back to Chania, and i will for sure, I will stay in Avra again .

This is a pretty nice hotel but it is not 4-star. From what I understand it used to be 3-star in which case I’d give it a better rating but at this time it is overpriced. (Especially with a 7€/day tax since it’s officially 4-star).

Lovely rooms and delicious breakfast with tasty little Greek pastries and mountain tea! Close to the beautiful old town and we had a great view from our balcony. Clean and airy. Only thing I would say could be improved is having a toilet on the same floor as the dining/breakfast area 🙈 also the underground parking feels very tight to get in and out of if you’re not used to it!!

Excellent hotel. Great service from friendly efficient staff. An easy walk downhill, 2 miles from the old venetian harbour [keep a look out for the turtles!] - just follow the main road down and turn left. Uphill on the return. Nice place. Location is great. However, the power tripped a number of times in our apartment one evening so we had move to the hotel until the issue was resolved. Also, you are charged to use the room safe at €20/25 per week (I can't remember the exact amount) which should be included in the price of your booking. Also, there were very few utensils in the apartment.

Beautiful accomodation in great spot. In the middle of the city, next to all the shops and sights of Chania, with mesmerizing view to the church of Agios Nikolaos. The building is a restored old manor which fits perfectly in with the beauty of the city. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. We had a great time staying at this hotel during our honeymoon. Antonis was so helpful in arranging daily transfers around Chania. The location is excellent as so many shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The rooms are beautiful and ours offered a balcony overlooking the port. The breakfast was also delicious!

Through we were originally put in a smaller room than we'd reserved, the issue was quickly cleared up. The woman who cleans the rooms didn't speak English, but that didn't stop her from being so sweet and caring! Reception was also very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a nice assortment of options, too!

We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is insanely central, everywhere in the city centre is within walking distance. We had a view of the old port which was incredible, and the room was clean and looked new and renovated. We stayed there one night whilst on a road trip but will be back for longer sometime soon. We stayed 3 nights here. The place is in a very good location with amazing views of the old town and parking just outside the hotel. The beds could’ve been better and bigger since we were two people, but is really compensated with the service that they give. The owner helps us and guide us about the activities we could do and the best places to eat, and always was available for anything we need.

The view and the balcony are well worth it! A bottle of wine from the hotel to congratulate us on our honeymoon meant a lot! Note you are not able to park at the hotel but there is a free public lot close by and the hotel staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of the city and things to do.

We loved our stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. The location is excellent, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so kind. We arrived a bit early before the room was ready but the staff thoughtfully set us up on the balcony overlooking the water with cookies and drinks while we waited. Beautiful authentic Venetian style boutique hotel in the heart of Chania old town. Our room was very spacious and clean and equipped with a/c and mini fridge. Lovely place situated right on the harbor. You can’t get a better location than this. Super friendly. Definitely splurge for the suite if you can. Amazing views ! Quick tip: since cars are not allowed in the harbor area, if you’re driving, stop nearby and drop off luggage with one of your party, then go park the car.
