Great friendly staff. The hotel has an amazing view. The best part is the on-site restaurant and room service. The food is amazing. With breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. We stayed in History! The original stonework was kept when rebuilt. Staff is great and very helpful. I gave the hotel a 4 for a couple of reasons. There are no additional amenities- no food, bar, pool, or rooftop terrace. Be careful which room you book. Some rooms are a nice size with a Seaview. Others are small or dark. When you turn on the bathroom light at night the entire room lights up. Nice place. Location is great. However, the power tripped a number of times in our apartment one evening so we had move to the hotel until the issue was resolved. Also, you are charged to use the room safe at €20/25 per week (I can't remember the exact amount) which should be included in the price of your booking. Also, there were very few utensils in the apartment.

Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is insanely central, everywhere in the city centre is within walking distance. We had a view of the old port which was incredible, and the room was clean and looked new and renovated.
