The staff were ever so friendly, the rooms cleans and spacious, amazing views, the breakfast filling and tasty, the evening food brilliant and having a large pool and the free shuttle to town made us feel like we had the best of everything

Our stay at Royal Sun was wonderful. We enjoyed very comfortable rooms, nice pool area, excellent breakfast and dinner in Michelin-class restaurant The Hill with an amazing view over Chania city

I had a quick dinner, but it was excellent!! When back in Chania, no doubts about the hotel!!!

Excellent in all respects EXCEPT the rooms facing the harbor are extremely noisy. Better to give up the view and go for a quiet room in the back.

A marvellous understated hotel , amazing location in the town , with beautiful views. The restaurant downstairs serves breakfast. The staff can't do enough for you - lovely eggs each morning

In the evenings , they serve a selection of excellent steaks. Staff are well informed , and really on it. Our first time in Chania , but it won't be the last

We are delighted with our stay at Elektra Hotel (Suites). Positives: Elektra Suites has a separate reception and a swimming pool. We were provided a private parking place in an underground parking lot

The buffet breakfast is excellent - varied and food is of good quality. The room maintenance is worth a special mention with towels being exchanged daily and the room tidied up perfectly

Great location by the sea, with super great people, such a good atmosphere, feeling warmly welcomed. We stayed in family, 2 adults and 4 kids of 19, 15, 10 and 6 years old. 5 minutes walk from the beach to take a bath

Beach is so near and it's very easy to go,just go down from your room and walk through 30 meters and you are in the sea. Elena Beach Hotel's restaurant has very good food ,pizza,souvlaki , stifado e

Personnel of the taverna are pretty weird and seems that they are drunk every day. Also they are smoking inside the restaurant and in the kitchen. The cocktail bar next door is ok and the personnel there is normal

At first - Elena Beach and Elena Selinou are two different hotels. Elena Selinou is located at Selinou street, just 100-150 meters from the beach. Some photos in this site is from Elena Selinou, not Elena beach

WiFi worked perfectly in the room. I would book this hotel again

Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. The hotel is very old but very well kept and clean

This is an excellent choice to experience Chania for several days, before venturing further out. The location in old town brings you back several centuries, especially if you walk around later in the evening

I stayed in kriti Hotel for 2 nights. The only problem was the noise from the air system especially during the night. All the hotel staff are very polite, they're always smiling and ready to answer all your questions

Once the pool closes, the barman does sort out the things left poolside, where you could chill and really look through the menus before ordering or go back to your room for a shower before eating

The food and service are the best! Especially Rena, who works the bar. She makes the best drinks, always has a beautiful smile to greet everyone with, and willing to be helpful to those of us not from Crete.

I recently stayed at Kydon Hotel, and while the accommodations and amenities were excellent, what truly set this hotel apart was the extraordinary service provided by Rena, the bartender

We went with our 11 year old, I wouldn't say it's set up to "entertain" kids but he had a wonderful time, the pool was his favorite

This is a third-generation family business and you can breathe this from the kind hospitality. I wouldn’t trade this for a room in 5-star international hotel chain. I will be back and will send my parents next year

Rooms were kept clean daily The view over the old harbour and watching people mingle day and night, with a pleasant atmosphere The double glazed windows help keep unwanted noise out, when you wanted to sleep

About 7' walking distance to the beach, the old town and the central bus station. Great option to explore the best of Chania! We managed to rent bicycles at the bike shop nearby

Stella made sure our stay was great by arranging us a room with pool view (221), which was very quiet given the central location of the hotel. The breakfast was very complete

Would pick Akali Hotel again if I would go back to Chania

It might be a typical Greek meat pie or some other fun local dishes. The hotel was neat and clean with very cosy public areas. Hung happily a few hours both at the bar, spoke with great bar staff or by the pool

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, with the most wonderful view from our room. The breakfast that we ate by the pool each morning was unbelievable

Centrally located on the Venetian Harbour, it's in the heart of the Old Town and surrounded by excellent shops, restaurants and bars. The service from the receptionists was second to none from arrival to departure

Our stay began with the receptionist Ramona personally coming to get us out of a bit of a driving snafu and parking our car, and then we received an amazing room upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite! We have never stayed at such an amazing hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Chania

I didn't have breakfast in the morning, but when I went to check out they'd prepared me a little takeaway breakfast which was really sweet. And they offered to let me keep the room until my airport transfer arrived

I'd booked a junior suite which was beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and plenty of amenities including plush robes & slippers, a nespresso machine, a minibar and ample toiletries

The location of the hotel is very good, just a few minutes walk from the old town. The breakfast is very good and the front desk service is also very good. The room is not big, but the design is very reasonable

The location is very convenient, it took us about 30 minutes, leisurely walk, to get to the Old Venetian Port, were you'll find lots of restaurants and shops. A couple of small supermarkets are just a block away
