Best Hotels in Chania Town

This was one of our best nights stay on the trip, mainly because the city life was fun and the staff at this hotel made us feel very very welcome!!!!

Good

I feel like they gave us extra food and then they even let us view the room before we made our final decision to book it. They gave us their own personal beach towels as we headed to a nearby beach off property

They gave us complimentary dessert as we checked out and had lunch there because the food was excellent. It was just what we were looking for, as we wanted to be in the Chania city life

The reason I am writing this review is because the staff went above and beyond to help us. They served us breakfast as they cleaned the room since we were four hours early on our check-in

The room was like a large condo instead of just a normal hotel room and we even had a full kitchen and three air conditioners that made it very comfortable

Brother and I stayed in this hotel as part of our Jet2 holidays package with separate rooms with a sea view. We were dropped off early from the transfer shuttles around 1330 way before check-in

Great place to stay by the port. Walking distance to most everything. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. They even give you a pillow menu, outlining your choice of pillow selections for your comfort

Chania is beautiful, lots of lovely restaurants along the harbour and the Old Town. Kriti hotel was wonderful, weather perfect, a fantastic place all round

Great hotel. Ideally situated and close to all amenities. Fantastic and friendly staff, including room service, reception, and bar staff. The swimming pool is free to use for hotel guests. Spotlessly clean hotel.

That was a super nice touch and started our first ever visit to Crete in an awesome way. We had separate sea view rooms, it was fabulous with the balcony I could sit and appreciate seeing great views

The art above the beds is a nice touch. I loved the olive based toiletries in the bathroom. They worked wonders on my hair. The welcome fruits, Raki, and peanuts were really a nice touch

Beautiful hotel just a few steps away from the old city center. Great hospitality and excellent respect of the anti Covid protocol. Looks and feels more like a 5*

Only thing I would say could be improved is having a toilet on the same floor as the dining/breakfast area 🙈 also the underground parking feels very tight to get in and out of if you’re not used to it!!

A very nice hotel next to a park. It was close enough to walk to the old town but without all the noise of the busy area. Plus there is parking and a lovely breakfast.

Lovely rooms and delicious breakfast with tasty little Greek pastries and mountain tea! Close to the beautiful old town and we had a great view from our balcony

Sunset views were a highlight! Yes, the hotel is out of town but we knew about this before booking - so please research the area to avoid any disappointment. Besides, the higher up you are, the better the views

Staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to accommodate any request they can. Olympia to be specific made our whole stay just that extra bit special. We will absolutely be staying again

Spectacular location, room, views, food, drinks and service. The staff and owners (including Ragis the Boston Terrier) really went the extra mile to make sure this part of our honeymoon was extra special

We couldn’t possibly recommend the Lagon strongly enough. The website pictures and description do not do it justice. You will not regret booking this hotel!

The hotel is in an excellent location. It was very clean and tidy. Maria and Antonis, the owners, were really kind, excellent hosts! Will definitely go back again!

Helpful and polite staff, excellent position near the old harbour and the traditional agoras (leather goods and traditional food).

Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. The hotel is very old but very well kept and clean

I've been in so many hotels and i usually choose traditional original buildings. They have combined traditional and classic elements in a great way without being too much

Beautiful accomodation in great spot. In the middle of the city, next to all the shops and sights of Chania, with mesmerizing view to the church of Agios Nikolaos

Into the Old Harbour area, by the sea side, an ideal place to spend one's holidays. Easy access to restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean and are showered by the sun-light

We had the most wonderful stay here! Moshe, the owner, and the staff were warm and helpful and made us feel at home. Our room, called Fabric, was a real treat

Some rooms are a nice size with a Seaview. When you turn on the bathroom light at night the entire room lights up. Also, you have to walk with suitcases to the city gate across cobble stones

Staff is great and very helpful. I gave the hotel a 4 for a couple of reasons. There are no additional amenities- no food, bar, pool, or rooftop terrace. Be careful which room you book

Great doors n windows shut out the noice from the restaurants below when you want down time. 5-6 meters to the ceiling creates an awesome romantic and modern feel

The whole stay at Domus Renier feels like something out of an Italian movie and I would recommend 10 out of 10 and hopefully will revisit soon!

We spent three days at this wonderful property. Our room had an amazing view. The service was excellent and the food delightful!! This property is right in the heart of Chania

Only small issue was our last morning the server seemed overwhelmed at breakfast and we couldn’t seem to get more coffee after asking several times. This was a minor hiccup in an otherwise nearly perfect stay

They have many small details covered such as welcome drinks/ towel, convenient and reasonably priced wine fridge in our room, extensive and delicious breakfast, towels and bottled water for the beach

The spa is peaceful, the service outstanding and Sofia gave me one of the best spa experiences ever overseas. I am trying to find a time to come back in the next week

The hotel- if you can really call it that, as the property is actually an 18th century Venetian mansion refurbished as a modern hotel with 24 beautiful and unique rooms- is located just steps away from the Old Town harbor and nestled within The rustic Old Town area

Staff have been nothing but helpful, responding to any request for additional service whether that was the Turkish steam shower located within our room, additional spa services, or dining services

I have just come from a spa experience at Casa Delfino and just had to come review. I had a massage and food treatment together. My amazing masseuse Sofia was fantastic

Great location - 4min walk from Old Port Chania and 2min from main shopping street. Away from the buzz of the Port but still close enough! Excellent service all round - highly recommended.

Very nice hotel! Clean and modern with comfortable beds. Wi-Fi was a bit slow and kept dropping but everything else was excellent. The breakfast is included and there is a small bar/diner on the bottom floor

Clean, Very good breakfasts, close to the old town and the old port. A taxi from/to the airport is 25-30€. You should know: in the back of the hotel is the central bus station and I'm front the main (?) Street

Very friendly staff! They offered us so many great suggestions to visit and eat in Crete. Every time you passed by the reception, they always say hello to you. It has the amazing location in Chania

Morum City Hotel is amazing 😀😀😀😀😀😀 Rooms are very clean and bathroom shower has great shower pressure. Reception personnel are very accommodating. Breakfast buffet is quite a spread

True 4* hotel which is pretty hard to find in Greece in high summer season. Nice room, very good cleaning service, decent continental breakfast and overall is worth 4* classification

Hotel area is very convenient easy walk to old town Chania about 15 minutes. Two supermarket on either side of the hotel. Bakery ( Red Jane) is around the corner. I would like to mention the reception staff are awesome

Lovely little B&B in the old town of Chania with waterfront balcony rooms and a very friendly staff! Really quiet and nicely redone rooms offer a great way to view the city center, or just stay all day on the balcony and watch people go by…Room 105 was ideal, and the hotel offered an excellent breakfast which they brought out to the private balcony

The hotel is beautiful and suits its location on Chania's old city. The stuff are kind and polite, specifically Dora. I would definitely go back the next time I'll visit Chania.

After 2 visits - Really nice place, at a great location with the most friendly and helpful staff. The sea front rooms are just perfect.

This was our best vacation, this boutique hotel has the best service ever. The Staff are so so kind. The location was perfect, quiet garden, cleanest rooms ever, and beautiful breakfast in the garden. 6stars :)

The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast that is included to the price is great and can keep you all day full. Everyday they change your towels and clean the room like you are new customer

The only disadvantage I can think is that is a little overpriced for what the room is, but I guess they charge the extra services that you get. I recommend to stay there for 3-4 days

Everything was very clean: room, swimming pool, the gym, bar. Very nice, polite and helpful stuff with excellent English

The staff is really nice and helpful, the pool is big and clean! Last but not least the complementary breakfast was large in variety and tasty! We had really a great time and we would definitely stay at Royal Sun Chania again!

The Hotel has private mini buses, so every 30 minutes we could reach the city centre and enjoy and as well to book a ride back. The ride takes just 12 minutes. Thanks for everything, we really enjoyed!

Royal Sun is a gem in Chania! The view, the hospitality and the beyond perfect customer service deserve more than 5 stars! The breakfast is nice and fresh; the rest of the food is also delicious

You can rent a car from the hotel, so you don't have to hassle with rental cars companies. To and from the City Centre they have arranged transportation that is free

Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the balcony over the pool and ordering (very good!) room service food to enjoy there a couple of evenings - after arriving back late from day trips and hikes!

Just a 2 minutes walk from a beach and a 7 minute walk to the center- so it's close but not too close to all the hustle and bustle of the center. Very clean hotel and beautiful rooms. Will definitely be going back again

Hyperion hotel was a pleasant surprise. Amazing design rooms super clean with nice view to the sea and old port. Delicious breakfast Including almost everything you imagine and new things every day

I had the pleasure of staying two weeks at the Hyperion Hotel and had an excellent time. The staff were very professional and personable

We booked this hotel last minute for one night. It was one of the best decisions we made. We loved everything: the decor, the rooms, the view, the food

With our two suitcases there was not much space left to walk about! The place is very old and that is fine but don’t give a couple a room that has little more than 2sqm of useable floor space apart from the bed! And the view was supposed to be of the walled garden but all you could see was another wall!! You will see from the photos The breakfast was ok but why offer a “plain omelette” when adding...

It offers convenient access to the area’s best restaurants and shops, which can be easily reached on foot. I loved the boho-chic design of the hotel and immediately felt at home here

The hotel is on an excellent spot on the Old Port of Chania and makes the whole city totally accesible! It was also next to the public parking lot

Our room had view to the port and even though it was small we had a very nice time there. The room on the other hand was spacious with a modern bathroom and it was more than enough for our small family of three

Room on the third floor with Jacuzzi very much. Not hear neither the city nor the neighbors, although not enough balcony with a view. Secluded and isolated room, good for honeymoon couples, or tourists without children

Located around 10 minutes away from the main bus station. So if you are planning day trips to neighbouring places, it is very convenient. Stay here if you can! You won't regret it
