We stayed in History! The original stonework was kept when rebuilt. Stayed in the mosaic suite, absolutely stunning, big shower, very comfortable bed ( queen +) Double glazed windows so you don't hear the night life. Restaurant underneath for breakfast which was full breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, eggs, salmon, everything you could need. Staff friendly & caring, full of helpful local places....

Ideal location, very good place, but not worth the extremely high price. Very good service, rooms are spacious and nice, but a couple of things didn’t work well. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Would be 4-5 stars if not quite so expensive.

Staff is great and very helpful. I gave the hotel a 4 for a couple of reasons. There are no additional amenities- no food, bar, pool, or rooftop terrace. Be careful which room you book. Some rooms are a nice size with a Seaview. Others are small or dark. When you turn on the bathroom light at night the entire room lights up. Also, you have to walk with suitcases to the city gate across cobble stones

Located in the old town harbour, you can not be closer to the harbour, without your own ship. Located directly overlooking the water. The suites with terrace has sunbeds, the suites further down has balconies with room for two chairs overlooking the harbour action. Great doors n windows shut out the noice from the restaurants below when you want down time. 5-6 meters to the ceiling creates an awesome...

Into the Old Harbour area, by the sea side, an ideal place to spend one's holidays. Easy access to restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean and are showered by the sun-light. Top class!!!

We had the most wonderful stay here! Moshe, the owner, and the staff were warm and helpful and made us feel at home. Our room, called Fabric, was a real treat . With a large window seat looking out to the beautiful harbor and famous Venetian lighthouse. It’s historical luxurious building is so well located one is practically at the heart of the city. Clearly these folk understand what customer satisfaction is all about and I cannot wait to return to this hotel in the future. My favourite hotel was located in Venice but I think that has now changed to the Domus Renier in the Old Harbour in Chania....

Domus Renier made Chania a special experience for us. The breakfast was incredible, the service friendly (thank you George), and the location unbeatable. The hotel staff also assisted us in booking private excursions. We will be coming back to Domus Renier next time we’re in Chania.

What an amazing hotel and experience. The decor, architecture, and attention to detail was wonderful. I would highly recommend the Domus Renier in Chania, Crete. We hopped locations at the last minute due to the weather, and we are so glad we did. The location was perfect, we were walking distance from everything we needed. It was very clean and hotel is beautiful. The views from the room were incredible. This hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff are excellent, the location is on the water and among all of the shops and restaurants. The building is part of a historic palace and has been remodeled. We stayed one night at this upscale hotel, right on the old Venetian port. The room wasn't huge but very cozy and elegant, the personnel extremely nice and helpful, the WiFi connection good, the location perfect.

Serenissima is the perfect location for couples traveling in Crete. It has fabulous, warm and friendly staff, is well located for walking in Chania, beautiful and comfortable with delicious food.

Spectacular location, room, views, food, drinks and service. The staff and owners (including Ragis the Boston Terrier) really went the extra mile to make sure this part of our honeymoon was extra special. We couldn’t possibly recommend the Lagon strongly enough. The website pictures and description do not do it justice. You will not regret booking this hotel!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, with the most wonderful view from our room. The breakfast that we ate by the pool each morning was unbelievable. The staff is very great! Friendly and helpful. The location is right there next to everything. The parking is a little odd and small, but they do move the Cars around to accommodate. The beds are not the best. Maybe I'm to picky or to heavy. That's my only real complaint. The daily water they give you is larger than the standard.

The overall experience was fantastic. The only problem was that we found a cockroach one night and the guy on the reception told us he doesn't do well with cockroaches and just gave us a tezza (bug repellent/spray). Other than that, it was a most wonderful experience.

We had booked the hotel for 2 nights.Unfortunately though we needed to stay only for 1 night.We called then and emailed them in time and they said on the phone that they would help to find a solution on the missed night.All they did is to to charge us as normal for 2 nights although we stayed for 1 and they didn’t even bother to manage our frustration.I’m not coming back to this hotel.

Great location for a hotel in Chania if you want to be walking distance from all the busy small streets but still be quiet area. The staff was very nice with their recommendation. They recommended the best meal we had in all of our island trip. They even provided us with beach towels when asked before visiting far beaches. Rooms had very large balcony that you can chill at.

Lovely little B&B in the old town of Chania with waterfront balcony rooms and a very friendly staff! Really quiet and nicely redone rooms offer a great way to view the city center, or just stay all day on the balcony and watch people go by…Room 105 was ideal, and the hotel offered an excellent breakfast which they brought out to the private balcony.

The hotel is beautiful and suits its location on Chania's old city. The stuff are kind and polite, specifically Dora. I would definitely go back the next time I'll visit Chania.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast that is included to the price is great and can keep you all day full. Everyday they change your towels and clean the room like you are new customer. The only disadvantage I can think is that is a little overpriced for what the room is, but I guess they charge the extra services that you get. I recommend to stay there for 3-4 days.

Hyperion hotel was a pleasant surprise. Amazing design rooms super clean with nice view to the sea and old port . Delicious breakfast Including almost everything you imagine and new things every day. I had the pleasure of staying two weeks at the Hyperion Hotel and had an excellent time. The staff were very professional and personable. Stella made sure our stay was great by arranging us a room with pool view (221), which was very quiet given the central location of the hotel. The breakfast was very complete. About 7' walking distance to the beach, the old town and the central bus station. Great option to explore the best of Chania! We managed to rent bicycles at the bike shop nearby.

Really nice hotel close to the old town. The swimming is a bit crowded during summer peak season but everything else from the room look and feel to the breakfast and the staff is great. They have a very convenient valet service for your car which I recommend you take for 8€ a day because it’s really complicated to find free parking in Chania.
