Superb! I had the cheapest room with "no view", but still had a balcony to dry my clothes or sit and a very comfortable and clean room. Hope to return here someday, what a beautiful oasis!

Staff are friendly and attentive speaking excellent English. No swimming pool is the only negative we could find here. Would recommend as a stylish place to stay in Chania

A marvellous understated hotel , amazing location in the town , with beautiful views. The restaurant downstairs serves breakfast. The staff can't do enough for you - lovely eggs each morning

In the evenings , they serve a selection of excellent steaks. Staff are well informed , and really on it. Our first time in Chania , but it won't be the last

Even though the harbor was very crowded and busy late into the evening we did not hear a thing. It is in a pedestrian only zone so be prepared to walk a block or so upon arrival

We absolutely loved our stay in the fabulous ceramic suite and we will be back for sure. stunning views and great bars and restaurants. if you have never been to Chania

Staff is great and very helpful. I gave the hotel a 4 for a couple of reasons. There are no additional amenities- no food, bar, pool, or rooftop terrace. Be careful which room you book

Each one of their professionals will take care of you, from the room service to the pool, passing through the amazing kitchen and bar service, all is immaculate and humble

Very modern rooms, extremely clean place, very delicious food, amazing views, there is a shop right next to the hotel and few beaches nearby and the most important factor that made our stay so memorable are the people!! We are delighted with our stay at Elektra Hotel (Suites). Positives: Elektra Suites has a separate reception and a swimming pool. We were provided a private parking place in an underground parking lot

The buffet breakfast is excellent - varied and food is of good quality. The room maintenance is worth a special mention with towels being exchanged daily and the room tidied up perfectly

Improvements needed: The wi-fi is weak to almost useless at times. There is no real restaurant in the hotel, just the breakfast area and a pool bar

Great location by the sea, with super great people, such a good atmosphere, feeling warmly welcomed. We stayed in family, 2 adults and 4 kids of 19, 15, 10 and 6 years old. 5 minutes walk from the beach to take a bath

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Halepa Hotel. It truly was a first-class experience from check-in to check-out. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The rooftop space is beautiful with stunning views

This is a lovely hotel in an elegant old building. The rooms are fully modernised and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It is in a quiet spot which is a delightful 20 minute walk into Chania old town

It is in a quiet neighborhood, yet an easy walk to Old Town Chania and the historical sites. I truly hope our travels once again bring us to Chania where will will once again stay at Halepa Hotel

The breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed it in the lovely front garden. The staff was very accommodating in providing dinner options and even stored our luggage for a few hours after check-out

I recommend getting breakfast included in your stay as its nice to have access to hot drinks, juice, fresh fruit and breakfast options when you wake up without having to leave the hotel

We stayed in room 202 for a 7 nights stay Including breakfast with a side view of the sea. Very comfortable bed and selection of pillows. Staff were wonderful and always welcomed you with a smile

Stayed here for 1 week and all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room had great air conditioning and was super clean with extra sheets and pillows if we needed them

We tried a couple of places in town but quickly decided to stick with our hotel’s restaurant — it was just that good! Breakfast is buffet-style, absolutely delicious and varied, and the woman working there is super friendly and helpful

The rooms are small and simple but spotlessly clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows — a bit too firm for my taste

We didn't use their pool so we can't rate it. Also plenty of room to park a rented car. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended — we’d definitely stay here again!

Plus in the hotel a small but nice pool (we didn't have time to use it) and a floor with ping pong, small pool and gym. In one word: super recommended!!!!!! Nice loggia in the room and in public stair

Ideally located on 5-10 minutes walk from the city center. Newly built/refurbished property. The room i got was very big and has big size balcony. Recomended for long stay in Chania city. Staff is very friendly.

Sometimes real luxury is not about having luxurious pretentious features but it lies into having a super relaxed and nice staff, a new, very clean hotel and room with a peaceful open atmosphere

Newly refurbished hotel with modern rooms. With in walking distance of the old town and old venitian harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable

Great service, food, pool, location, big balconies, nice rooms. Putting a mattress with water would be great in this amazing pool. Bit noise coming from outside. Light coming inside the room needs to be improved curtains

And I can’t forget the staff at the cocktail bar by the pool, real good fun and they/George (the general manager) will randomly come around with free shots or drink. This was a very classy touch and much appreciated

We felt like family not guests!! Breakfast was ample with a mixture of hot and cold items, the hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner but you can order food at the cocktail bar next to the pool

Where do I start, this hotel is superb for many reasons! Firstly the location is excellent, right next to the harbour and old town and the only hotel I know of that has a pool in this vicinity

The infinity pool on the roof top is perfect to soak in the sun and enjoy the view whilst having a beer or cocktail, especially the sunset in the evening

The decor is clean and modern and the hotel is spotless. I was worried that the pool and surrounding area may get too crowded but it was perfect

You needed to as the pool only had 10 sunbeds! Would not go back for that reason everything else was good

The one gripe which annoyed us when you pay £1000 to stay for the week it annoyed us we were charged 15 euro a day to use hotel beach beds

The hotel has its own supermarket. There is a compressor that can be used to inflate toys. The gym is sparsely equipped but sufficient. It is possible to connect media accounts like Netflix and YouTube to the TV

Been at this hotel before so this time I brought my own coffee filter holder to do pour over coffee instead of using the coffee maker. It drove me nuts the last time. Good breakfast and lunch restaurant

We only used the service for food and swimming! Amazing food and the area is so professional and beautiful. They are located at the end of the espande.

Small beach at the bottom of hotel steps and 4 mins to Neo Chora Food was great. Cereal, toast, fruit,yoghurt hot food selection and many cakes or cookies

Everything worked fine The hotel was clean, all the communal areas and my room and the restaurant. The staff could not be better. Friendly and welcoming and there to help if you needed anything at all

Very nice place, the room looked modern and the furniture looked new (just like in the pics). Comfy beds and loads of storage. Water in the swimming pool was freezing cold though - colder than the sea

The property was immaculate, all brand new,wonderful fitting high quality Beds Bedding, towels etc .

The place is in good location, right on the main road but slightly further back so traffic noise is not an issue (and our apartment was facing the main road)

We went with our 11 year old, I wouldn't say it's set up to "entertain" kids but he had a wonderful time, the pool was his favorite

While it borders the main bus depot, the serene garden—with its pool and waterfall—effectively blocks both the view and the noise, creating a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere

When we arrived after a very long trip, Maria gave us our rooms quickly without the normal confusion at a front desk. The rooms, small by North American standards, were large for Europe, clean and up to date

The rainfall shower was an amazing feature, excellent for getting rid of a two day trip before the walk to get some dinner

Rooms: Spacious and comfortable—something you rarely find in accommodations right on the harbor. This location outside the harbor core really pays off in terms of room size

Breakfast: A delicious spread combining continental staples with authentic Cretan delicacies. Service: Front desk and valet staff are attentive and welcoming

Stella made sure our stay was great by arranging us a room with pool view (221), which was very quiet given the central location of the hotel. The breakfast was very complete

It might be a typical Greek meat pie or some other fun local dishes. The hotel was neat and clean with very cosy public areas. Hung happily a few hours both at the bar, spoke with great bar staff or by the pool

About 7' walking distance to the beach, the old town and the central bus station. Great option to explore the best of Chania! We managed to rent bicycles at the bike shop nearby

Would pick Akali Hotel again if I would go back to Chania

I feel like they gave us extra food and then they even let us view the room before we made our final decision to book it. They gave us their own personal beach towels as we headed to a nearby beach off property

The reason I am writing this review is because the staff went above and beyond to help us. They served us breakfast as they cleaned the room since we were four hours early on our check-in

They gave us complimentary dessert as we checked out and had lunch there because the food was excellent. It was just what we were looking for, as we wanted to be in the Chania city life

The room was like a large condo instead of just a normal hotel room and we even had a full kitchen and three air conditioners that made it very comfortable

We were right in the middle of the city action, as you walk out the front doors that is where all the restaurants, bars, shopping, and action takes place

This was one of our best nights stay on the trip, mainly because the city life was fun and the staff at this hotel made us feel very very welcome!!!!

We conversed with 2 barman, mainly Vagelius and Alexandros, who were awesome. I often tried getting some Greek phrases right, where I was helped with that. Vagelius was happy to help and enjoyed helping me learn

The location was great, very close to the harbor and all around the old town area. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent . Room was clean and the bed was big and very comfortable
