Very nice hotel, clean, with big rooms. Room service is great, every day they refill our coffees. We can ask them to refill our water containers, thus saving plastic bottles. The staff is amazing, always smiling and nice

The free hotel shuttle is very convenient (just coordinate the time with the host). The property also features a nice outdoor pool and a useful self-service laundry, free except for detergent capsules

It has a huge pool overooking Chania town and a nice gym. We couldn't use the pool, as it was winter, but the gym we liked a lot

Modern hotel with clean rooms and well-maintained bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent, offering panoramic views of Chania from the dining area. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a non-alcoholic drink

The hotel restaurant has great food and one of the best views for watching the sunset in chania. Just remember to reservate a front row seat in time. There is also a big pool and a gym included in the room

We stayed at Samaria Hotel for four nights as a couple with a toddler, and the experience was simply wonderful. The hotel is charming with a perfect location, everything is spotless and sparkling clean

When it came to parking the valet service was amazing. again our team's hours were out of the ordinary and well outside of the staff's hours. When the team lead explained, again, the staff accommodated our needs

Rooms clean and facilities well thought out, breakfast was incredible! But the thing that made our trip was the welcome of all the staff, they couldn't do enough to accommodate us and every single team member was friendly and helpful

Food was fresh made with an amazing selection of both hot and cold options, fresh fruit was obviously cut that morning, eggs were hot, not dried out with meats and pastry options galore

The hotel is bear to the Old town(it can be reached by feet) , the personnel is very kind and everything is brand new and clean , service is wonderful and breakfast is delicious, definitely a hotel to keep in consideration if you visit Crete , i’ll be back for sure

Very good city location by walking distance to the Port, Bazaar (Central) and short driving distance to the Hanya Beaches. Excellent and very warm hospitality! Good room with good-brand almost new furnished bathroom

As many people mentioned, rooms are not as great as on the website, however it's not a tragedy! Our double bed was huge with fresh bedding every day, the room was cleaned daily and new towels were left in the bathroom

Our stay at The Tanneries was exceptional. The property is gorgeous and modern yet fitting the historical surroundings, the rooms are also very modern and lovely with immediate proximity/ views to the water

Perfect stay, very stylish, one of the best hotels we stayed so far. Only thing to improve would be the outdoor jacuzzi. It’s so cold, it should be a hot jacuzzi! Than it would be the most perfect stay.

The location of the hotel is magical. The morning is peaceful and the evening lively with the hotel restaurant and another neighboring restaurant. The hotel staff are kind, friendly and very helpful

Then the next day the reception staff went out of their way to help when my colleague was not feeling well. I can’t say enough about The Tanneries hotel and how they go out of their way for guests

Beautiful modern Hotel Beautiful hotel right on the water, amazing restaurant, we had a great dinner and breakfast. The rooms had an amazing view of the sea and very modern and luxurious.

Guest rooms were clean and exactly what they promised, the pool side breakfast and pool area was wonderful and quiet. The meeting space was perfect and the location was so convenient, we could walk everywhere

The pool was lovely, and breakfast was delicious with a nice variety, plus it stayed open late, which was a great surprise if you want to sleep in

Because two people couldn't pass. Our balcony only had enough room for a single chair. Lobby is nice spacious with a full bar. The breakfast is ample with hot and cold choices, and you can eat poolside

What a hidden gem!! In the middle of everything and about 2 blocks at most from the Harbor. Check in was wonderful and the Receptionist very accommodating and answered all our questions and gave us great tips as well

The Hotel Porto Veneziano is by far one of the best locations for Chania. The view from our 3rd floor balcony was amazing. Perfect for a glass of wine and the view in the evening

Spectacular location — close to everything with excellent service! The only downsides were that the room was very small (barely enough space for two medium-sized suitcases) and that the à la carte breakfast was charged separately, with prices not listed on the menu

Ideally place in the old city. In September it was easy to park near the entrance in Talos. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast excellent. The breakfast lady and the two receptionists were adorable

Great location and room. We were made very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. They also really tried to accomodate my gluten/lactose free diet for breakfast.

Nice welcoming from fhe staff, cleaned everywhere, nice garden, comfort and luxury rooms, they even had toothbrush, and has large tv, electronic automations, great room temperature insulation

The Pool 👙 is very clean and big. There are lots of cats around 😺🐈 so just a precaution to those allergic with cats. My little girl have mild allergy with cats and dogs but she had no problem at all here

Elia Bettolo Hotel is in an ideal location in the Old Town of Chania. It's walking distance from the bus station, Maritime Museum, the Old Lighthouse, and tons of restaurants

The driver was for these trips was really good, sorry can’t remember his name but he gave lots of information about places we were going past and was very helpful would highly recommend staying here and going on the excursions

I would highly recommend everyone who comes to Chania stays in Elia Hotel. it’s located at the center of the old town and close to everything. The room is spacious, nice and clean

Really nice room and clean. Great location if you want to be in the middle of Old Town Chaina. Be aware that parking is EXTREMELY difficult in this area even on weeknights.

And most of all , the staff are so nice and friendly. I’d like to thank Areti, who helped me find my lost E-Reader at a dessert shop nearby after I checked out and left the city. She helped me find it and kept it for me

This hotel was a little above our normal budget but well worth it - we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel (which is on seafront in Nea Chora) is about a twenty minute walk from the old town and the Venetian port

The hotel is in the very pleasant Nea Chora district of Chania which has excellent restaurants as well as some very good bakeries and places that serve good quality souvlaki and gyros

There’s also a bus stop a few hundred metres from the hotel that has quite frequent buses that go to the outskirts of the old town and to many other locations

Christiana Beach Hotel is located in a good area. We generally prefer to stay in a hotel on the beach, but a close enough to restaurants, shops and a 10-15 walk to the town centre

We stayed here 23 - 30 May 2025 on the second week of our holiday in Crete. A wonderful hotel in Nea Chora, Chania, right next to a beautiful beach

We came for dinner on our first night of our holiday. The staff are kind and attentive. The food was glorious. The ocean view was beautiful. I think we will be coming back here again soon!

Akasti hotel is a family business with the most amazing staff. They made our trip the best by giving us all kinds of suggestions of what to do or were to eat in Crete

We stayed at Akasti for 4 nights as part of our Greek island hopping trip, Chania was the first leg of our travels and we could not have asked for a better start to our travels

Breakfast was plentiful- a lot of options and fantastic start to the day. It might get repetitive if you are there for longer than a week, but we enjoyed the variety. And there are cafes around if you wanted to mix it up

The owners are so lovely and welcoming. I have travelled around the world and not experienced anything like that in Europe for friendliness. The hotel is a short bus ride from town and not far from the beach

We had an amazing time at Kedrissos. From the very start, the communication was excellent. We arrived after reception closed and they sent both an email and WhatsApp with clear instructions

In the evening the bar area is a great place with Yianni our barman serving drinks with a smile and Georgos the waiter being a great young guy who is very funny but also professional

Location wise- would advise transport to Chania town as the road needed to get there is very busy with very poor pavements. Not ideal for pushchairs or people with mobility issues

The pool closes at 7:30pm for the restaurant to open for the evening meals. The sunbeds are of plenty and have nice comfy mattresses on them

We are delighted with our stay at Elektra Hotel (Suites). Positives: Elektra Suites has a separate reception and a swimming pool. We were provided a private parking place in an underground parking lot

The buffet breakfast is excellent - varied and food is of good quality. The room maintenance is worth a special mention with towels being exchanged daily and the room tidied up perfectly

Improvements needed: The wi-fi is weak to almost useless at times. There is no real restaurant in the hotel, just the breakfast area and a pool bar

Great location by the sea, with super great people, such a good atmosphere, feeling warmly welcomed. We stayed in family, 2 adults and 4 kids of 19, 15, 10 and 6 years old. 5 minutes walk from the beach to take a bath

Across the mountaintop on a walking distance, there was an amazing beach called Paralia, that was our daily spot cuz we find it the best beach, but around the hotel there are other several nice beaches

A lovely small hotel with the nicest of staff, everyone so helpful and happy it was a pleasure. The room was good, we would have liked a bath but the shower was good

The hotel is a bit outside of Chania center but there’s a free bus transfer every 20 minutes during the week and we have been able to enjoy the landscape and the beach around Chania and the hotel

Very easy to travel into the old town as the buses were very reliable, close by and took card. Taxi back at night €10 so very reasonable as well. Very close to many beaches - some by walking others by bus

The reataurant was superb and the breakfast offered good variety. The walk into town was OK for a fairly fit older person but walking back after dark would be tricky across the unmade up track

Stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and had a very relaxing time. The staff are friendly from those at reception to the wonderful lady that welcomes you for breakfast each morning
