Apartment Hotels in Chania Town

I spent 6 nights in this nice hotel in early September 2025. It is greatly located at the heart of Chania Old City. The room was very spatious with a big terrace. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I hope to come back again.

The meal we had at the restaurant was very good and a real healthy portion. If we hadn’t found this gem so late in our holiday we would have eaten there again. Great value and the service was very good. The beer selection was also good, they even had Guinness.

We stay at Odos Onerion for 7 nights and had the best customer service from the friendly team. They would go out of the way to ensure we had an amazing experience. The rooms were clean, they would change bedding regularly. When we had early excursions around 6.30 am, Les Denis and his team would prepare early take away breakfast for us. Our family of 4 (our teenage daughters are 15 and 17 years old) loved our stay here. We were right in the middle of the city action, as you walk out the front doors that is where all the restaurants, bars, shopping, and action takes place. A charming, quirky place in the heart of the old harbour of Chania.

Beautifully quaint and authentic Greek hotel overlooking the harbour in Chania old town. Very hospitable hosts. Bed was extremely comfy. Continental style breakfast was extremely plentiful and delicious. We will definitely stay longer on our next trip to Crete.

Beautiful, clean and romantic hotel overlooking the old port of Chania. We stayed in room no 1 on the first floor which has a double iron bed and a large TV. From the bed you can see the lighthouse.

We had a wonderful stay in Chania! The location was absolutely perfect with close proximity to lovely bars and restaurants on the Venetian port. We were especially impressed by the receptionist Katerina, who was extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay a relaxing, stress free experience. This apartment is located a few dozen meters from the old port of Chania. Despite its location close to restaurants, the area is very quiet and we felt completely safe. Extraordinary location, facilities, very clean, welcoming atmosphere and amazing host. The manager of the hotel, Katerina is the most lovely and kind person I have met in Greece. She recommended us very traditional and local tavernas and beautiful places, less known for the tourist. It’s a great accommodation choice!

Small property close to the harbour. Quiet area but easy to walk to everything

Stayed here last week,what a fantastic hotel very nicely modernized with great taste.very helpful manager Katerina who made our stay more carefree by arranging our car hire or anything we wanted. First class service from the minute we arrived. Little things from the hotel staff such as offering a blanket to my partner when it was cold at the restaurant made the stay enjoyable. Brilliant staff, clean rooms, delicious food and spectacular scenery.

Fabulously clean and staff very nice. Close proximity to Airport, Chania and Stalos. Beds super comfy. Katerina organized us a taxi from Airport so we didn't have to wait .

Very good food at affordable prices, we paid around 50 euros for 2 persons with one starter, 2 main courses, 2 deserts and drinks. They also bring you one traditional starter with tomatoes and feta.

Just back from 11 night stay at this hotel. Perfect hotel to explore western Crete from, hotel parking very limited but always managed to park in the street. Had a garden view studio as seaviews were all taken. Very practical with small kitchenette but very very small shower/ toilet. Could do with some upgrading now and also improve on house keeping. Liked · The hotel was easy to find. There is a bit of an problem for parking but it was well sorted out by the reception colleagues. Coming to the apartment, it was very spacious and had all the necessary kitchen equipment and accessories. The view from the balcony was simply amazing. Couldn't have hoped for a better hotel for the holiday. The rooms a sufficient in size, had great amenities inside the room and others could be asked from the reception. The receptionists were extremely helpful and nice. We had a great time chatting with them.

This little boutique hotel just does it for me. Incredible service, very nice rooms,clean and comfortable you feel more like coming home than anything else. The old town is only 7 minutes to walk to. It is just lovely and we keep coming back here.

We loved it, stayed in Summer 2021 for a few nights, rebooked for this Summer already 2022. SUPER clean, very stylish, rooms are per the website, what you see is really what you get. Actually found it better to book via Hotel website. Great service from reception staff `Chara` to the cleaners. Its not a beach location, no pool but its 15 mins walk, beats the quality you get on the city beach hotels...

A perfect family stay – highly recommended! We had the pleasure of staying at Souvlakis Pool Suites in Chania for four wonderful weeks, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable — especially our kids! Every morning, they warmly welcomed our children at breakfast and looked after them...

Lovely pool, people, breakfast. Bed good. Everything 😍 gave location 5 as I depends on needs, okay to park car, bit of a walk to the town or beach if you're into walking.

Big room with kitchen, 2 acces doors, 2 air conditioning. Great bathroom with 2 sinks, 2 mirrors, perfect shower. Comfy bed with soft pillows. You can dry your beach clothes outside. Free good breakfast and cofee. We even get the fresh cake out of the oven :). The only negative thing is that you have to walk 20 minutes to City center, but that was no problem for us. A very nice place with really good service which is always able to help you with your problems and give you advices about which place to visit or where better to eat. Really comfortable and clean rooms with all the necessary stuff inside. And the strangest but the best part is that it's cheaper than it should be. it's in the center of chania which is a really good benefit because you can go anywhere...

Alena is a lovely host but i cant say the same about her husband. Cleaning.needs improvement. Going to the toilette is a nightmare..you need to.have a leg in the shower. Elevator is extremely small, fits only 1 person with luggage.

Located few steps from the main bus stations and very close to the city center, so you easily explore the old streets and plan daily trips out of the city as well. Our room had everything or even more than we needed, including kitchen and a balcony. Also the price was very low, very affordable place if you are on lower budget or not planning to spend much time in the room. I recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay in Chania. Very clean apartment. Very basic, as was expected. Shower, TV, A/C and wifi all worked well. Bed was comfy with extra pillows. All the cool shopping, markets and harbor were close by and the close vicinity to the bus station was perfect for our early morning departure. Service was friendly and prompt. Felt safe and comfortable. Would stay again!

Right in the heart of the old town.Among many restaurants and bars . Very clean and spacious .The room had a tiny balcony,which as about right for three persons to sit and enjoy the view of the small alley which was crowded!.

Highly recommend to everyone who want stay in cosy and lovely place in Xania! Feel like a home:) very kind and beautiful staff! but if you have a big luggage, it will be hard. because no elevator is there. I would like to stay again if I can come to Xania again!

Our plane arrived just before midnight and the owners arranged for us to have access to hotel. Stavros was welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation was incredibly clean and looks freshly painted. We had apartment 9 which was on the top floor (3rd or 4th) with a large balcony. The balcony afforded fantastic partial sea views and had plenty of sun. We had a fridge, towels, hob, sofa...

Perfect location to explore the old town and Venetian harbour. A stone's throw away to beautiful restaurants, cafes, bars and various arts and crafts workshops. 10/15 minute walk to Chania beach. We stayed for a few nights this month and really enjoyed our stay. The building is lovely and the decor is simple, traditional and clean. Location was excellent for: access from airport (we got the bus and it was then a five min walk), exploring chania (old town, Jewish quarter, walkable to a very nice beach) and Stavros was a very helpful host assisting us with r recommendations and a taxi booking...

Great location and large room but the star of the show is Stavros with his knowledge and helpfulness.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The accommodation is clean and pleasant and Stavros (owner)and his son George really make you feel at home. 2 minutes of conversation with them and you will feel relaxed and ready to join the Crete life. They are also a fountain of knowledge regarding activities and restaurants in the area. Every place they recommend was exactly what we wanted. Thanks again!
