Royal Marmin Bay Boutique & Art Hotel

The service in this hotel is amazing! They take care of your needs. All our requests were accomplished fast. The cleanliness of the room was great. The gym is pretty well equipped. They have a tennis court, spa and the transportation in the resort is done by golf carts which arrive quickly. All the stuff is very gentle, ready to help you and bringing you whatever you need. A well spent holiday, lovely experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Locating and views impressive, service from the staff impeccable and food amazing. A well kitted out gym, pool, three restaurants, tennis court, and carts to transport you around. We’d love to stay again sometime.

Overall fantastic stay. Staff very please t and hospitable definitely 5🌟 service. Balcony of the room was stunning. Breakfast phenomenal. Minor comment the room is small and towards the unmodernsied - bathroom is not comfortable to use as the water goes everywhere and closets are dysfunctional.

The hotel is very beautiful, the hotel has its own swimming pool. And some rooms have their own private swimming pool. From room you can have a beautiful view of the sea, you can see the sunrise, you can see the mountains. Room setting is also very cute, daily cleaning. The workers are also very nice and friendly.

What a week I have had. I can not rate this hotel highly enough. The location and view is stunning, the amenities excellent and the staff phenomenal. As a solo traveller I was made to feel incredibly welcome at all times and treated with an abundance of warmth - nothing was too much to ask!
I also have a nut allergy and I have to say the hotel went above and beyond - chef (what a guy!) came and gave me a tour every evening to let me know what I could and could not eat (there was not much I could not eat!) and he even made me special bread 😊 all the bars and restaurants were made aware which meant I didn’t have to keep letting people know - for those with an allergy you know what a difference that can make so that you don’t feel like you are inconveniencing people all the time but you feel safe.
Mario was the person who greeted me and from that moment was the smiling presence at all times - he was a star at booking my day trips and my reservations at the other restaurants in the hotel - in fact he was an absolute star all round!
John the manager also deserves a shout out. I was not happy with my original room (nothing at all wrong with the room I just was not happy with the location) he was straight on to sorting it out and did not make me feel bad at all and he was another friendly face that I could not do more to help me throughout the week.
On top of the fantastic food served in the usual restaurant which was part of the half board I also tried both the Poseidon and samurai - both equally fantastic - both with again fabulous staff- both with delicious menus - if you are coming I would recommend giving both a go during the course of your stay you won’t regret it!
I could go on ( but I will stop now!) but all I really want to say is every single member of staff at this resort deserve the highest praise for their dedication, assistance and friendly nature and I would recommend anyone thinking about coming here to do it! Now!!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel which ha been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The staff and the food is excellent. The Sushil restaurant serves some great dishes. Great value for money but make sure you book a sea view room. The others are not so great in size and views.
Definitely a high recommend.

A lovely two-week stay. More staff are needed; it often felt understaffed at the hotel. And, more training about food allergies would improve (requests were often ignored or overlooked). The rooms are excellent, but in-room amenities should be more standardized across all room types (the deluxe rooms get more soap/shampoo than superior rooms, plus get daily free water while superior rooms do not).

We enjoyed our stay at Royal Marmin. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious enough with lots of closet space. The view from our terrace was magnificent! Magical. The beds were soft and comfortable.
The staff are exceptional. Very accommodating, cheerful and hard working people. The manager was very helpful in helping us navigate the PCR test appointments.

One serious deficiency at the hotel is managing severe allergies. Staff are poorly trained and the communication about severe life threatening allergies is not understood.

Breakfast is generous even though the food is always the same, but excellent and with lots of choice. Excellent free cappuccinos and fredos really make a difference.
We loved Crete and enjoyed many excursions to learn about the ancient history of this extraordinary place. Thank you!!!

Amazing hotel. The view, the staff, the room, the private pool, the service.. All was perfect. We had an amazing time. Irini from the breakfast staff was adorable always smiling..
The spa was great. Ask for amazing Maria for perfect treatment.
