We have got amazing new apartments with sea view. We're there with my family and the main point was to rest. Definitely enjoy my time there. We have got the all inclusive I must say the was limited however the food was really good.
The animation wasn't the greatest but still fine.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to families and couples definitely not a hotel for single people which looking for entertainment.

One little thing to change IMO is tv in room. Small and Without netflix. But - who thinks about tv on holidays and with this view from the room 🥰

Had a lovely holiday here, there was a small error on arrival where they didn't seem to have the correct details of our party arriving and had mixed my husbands name up with a completely different family altogether. This somehow lead to us being checked into the wrong room and being told we had to move after unpacking and settling in however this was rectified relatively quickly albeit beginning to delay sinking into holiday relaxation as promptly as we would of liked. The resort was nice, a little attitude adjustment required by some of the staff and advertising things not available might need correcting (steam room full of mops and cleaning equipment). Otherwise we quite enjoyed our holiday. Restaurant staff certainly made up for a positive hospitality attitude in comparison to some other hotel departments.

This year marks the 3rd time we came to Elounda residence. Year after year the wonderful people at the hotel make you feel like you're coming home.
We got one of the new rooms and it was really nice, it was close to the restaurant/pool and had a beautiful view of the sea.

Getting to the restaurant is just a short walk what makes for a pleasant morning stretch. The all-in formula offers a big variety of different food and drinks, the soda isn't the best but i don't drink it so i don't mind.
Going to the sea is a downhill walk on a road that runs through an olive field, i love it (their can be some garbage by the roadside but that's not the hotels fault).
Going back to the hotel is a bit more exhausting but what do you expect from a hotel on a hill. I like the physical exercise to let the amazing food you can eat all over town get processed.

If you like a good view, good food and nice people i would definitely recommend this place!

My family and I (17 of us) stayed here from 16th -23rd august and we had the most amazing holiday.

We were initially quite nervous to stay after reading some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay.

All the staff, particular the hotel mangers, reception and bar staff were all so polite and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Especially Paul and nick who were a pleasure to meet and made our family holiday so special.

During our stay we had 3 birthdays and a 40th wedding anniversary and the hotel decorated our rooms and allowed us to go in the church on site so that we could celebrate the wedding anniversary. They ensured that we all had a fab time during our celebrations.

The hotel is built on a hill which is fairly steep which can be difficult, but the hotel offers 24 hour transport to help you get around the hotel if needed. Being in the hills gives you amazing views of elounda. We were fortunate to see beautiful sunrises every morning from our apartment balacony and have stunning sea views.

The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff work so hard thoroughly cleaning the pools every morning. Our rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed between daily or every other day.

The beach and town is a 20min walk away, there is a free shuttle bus but the walk was lovely. Its a lovely walk around the town & marina to get to a sandy beach with a park and lots of shops & restaurants.

We found there to be a good selection of food at all meal times and we all and the children always enjoyed what we ate. The waiting staff always ensured the tables were cleaned and ready.

We asked to get a table all sat together at the restaurant for one of the birthdays and asked if we could pay for a cake. The restaurant manger ensured this happened and helped make the birthday so special.

I can’t thank the staff enough for all they did and we had the best time because of them.

This Resort is incredible! me and my family visited during August and were really impressed with are accommodation. First of all the staff are extremely friendly my step sister lost her retainer that was in a napkin and they managed to find them instantly! We originally were in a different room which we didn’t order but after 2 nights the staff got it sorted and we got moved to what we payed for. The pools are very fun although I’d watch out if you have sensitive kids as the water is salt water and can be quite stingy and affective to kids with sensitive skin. Food is very nice it’s a nice selection of lots of different diets and me and my family were very amazed by it. The shuttle bus runs at certain times you can find this out by looking at the board in reception although if it doesn’t suit you’re schedule a taxi can be called for you. The nearest airport to Elounda is Heraklion airport and is 2 hour bus service! Overall I really enjoyed this holiday and would recommend it to loads of family’s 5 star hotel 🫶

This hotel is fantastic! Honestly amazing the view and the hotel is gorgeous and lovely town to go to. I had left my teeth retainer on a table after dinner and the incredible staff felt it in the napkin and saved it till I can back for it so incredible staff deserve so much tips! A couple little problems like a room switch up but got our room in the end and is amazing. Defo recommend going all inclusive as you get a free bar , snacks and lunch which is amazing and lovely bar staff. Over all a great Holiday and would definetly come back! The buffet is amazing only hotel where I’ve ate everything on my plate. The pools are saltwater instead of chlorine but the pools the one at the waterpark is extremely salty so be careful in there and make sure to close your mouth. Overall lovely hotel recommend by far.

From the hotel, the view is stunning, and the hotel staff I met were perfect—very kind.
At the restaurant, the meals are decent: some products are very good, while others are very bad. Be aware that the all-inclusive drinks are really poor quality—everything, even the sodas, is extremely low-end.
Getting around the hotel is physically demanding because everything is uphill. Access to the beach is really difficult. Yes, there are shuttles, but they are very poorly organized. Personally, I recommend renting a car for all travel needs, even just to go from your room to the hotel restaurant.
Obviously, don’t rent a car through the hotel—go directly through rental companies in town, the prices are better. Don’t forget to take the full insurance with zero excess so you can enjoy your holiday stress-free.

I strongly advise against the Santorini excursion—it’s overcrowded, the time on the island is extremely limited, and it really feels like a tourist scam.
The hotel rooms are very clean.

This hotel offers relatively low prices, so be aware that the clientele may not always be the best—except in June and in September/October (outside school holidays).

When you arrive at the airport, the shuttle to the hotel stops at many other hotels to drop off guests, so the journey is extremely long. You might want to consider booking a private transfer—more expensive, yes, but far more comfortable.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn other families after our shocking experience at this resort. We paid nearly £2,000 for a 5-day stay expecting a relaxing, all-inclusive family holiday — what we got was stress, unsafe conditions, and blatant mistreatment. From the moment we arrived, our room was filthy: black mould on the walls, visible stains soaked through the mattress, dirt everywhere, and even our baby’s travel cot and pillow were stained and disgusting. It was genuinely unhygienic and unacceptable. When we asked to change rooms, we were told it wasn’t possible until the next day — instead, they sent a housekeeper to try and “clean” a room that needed to be condemned. The next day, they reluctantly moved us with no apology, barely handed us the new keys, and told us to get on with it. Unfortunately, the second room was just as bad — broken electrical sockets hanging off the walls (incredibly unsafe for our two-year-old) and more general dirt and neglect. At that point, we felt stuck. We’d already paid, and getting a refund or new accommodation was simply not an option. On top of the accommodation issues, we experienced aggressive, unsafe behaviour from two of the resort’s drivers. One particularly angry man with glasses drove off with me alone in the buggy, leaving my partner and baby behind. When I explained he’d left them — and they had the room key — he shouted at me, tutted, and called me “stupid” (which I later had translated from Greek). It was genuinely frightening — so much so that a guest on a nearby balcony asked if I was okay. Another driver (with a slight limp) physically pushed my partner off a shuttle bus while he was holding our baby, simply because she was slightly wet from the pool. Again, this was accompanied by shouting and aggressive tuts. After multiple uncomfortable and frankly scary experiences, we chose to walk up and down the steep hill to our room instead of using the resort transport. And speaking of hills: don’t be fooled by promises of access to Elounda. You’ll be dumped at the top of a steep, winding road with no proper explanation. I witnessed a heavily pregnant woman in tears because they did the same to her — “it’s tough, deal with it” seems to be the attitude. The pool area and water park are dated, poorly maintained, and dangerous. My daughter injured her foot on a broken drainage grid near the pool. No one cared. A side gate, which leads to a dangerous, rubbish-filled rocky drop, is constantly left open — it’s a death trap for children. The kids club? A disaster. While I understand it's for ages 4+, the staff were openly rude. French entertainers tutted when we entered, ignored my daughter entirely, and left us alone in the hut well before their shift ended. She left feeling sad and excluded. This matched the nightly “entertainment” — all exclusively in French, with no effort to include non-French families. We have just come back home from a fantastic week of staying at the Elounda residence resort & waterpark. The staff are absolutely amazing, all very friendly and happy to talk to you and very helpful. The staff made my daughter's birthday dinner special for her with setting up balloons around the table and a delicious birthday cake. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which was fantastic cannot fault that, very clean. Free shuttle to your rooms, free shuttle bus to the main road, but we got taxis to and from Elounda village as easier for the kids. The sun was shining, the pools were fantastic. The food was fresh and tasted good, always had a variety available. We went into Elounda village and took a boat trip to Spinlonga which was fantastic, we did the little train round trip, we hired a car from our resort and went 30 mins down the road to Amazonas park to see some monkeys, lemurs and exotic birds. We definitely will be back and a big Thank you to all the staff, can not fault any of them especially Theo who drove us to our room and back to reception, giving us some information about Elounda and he even apologised as he said usually he likes to get to know us all by spending time with us but he and all the staff were very busy but we didn't mind.
