just had 2 weeks at the hotel Castro-we arrived around midnight but was still offered a meal- with me being in a wheelchair I requested a ground floor pool view and that's what we got- the air con didn't work but he sorted it out there and then-clean towels and sheets daily- food was lovely- cant understand anyone complaining-if I didn't feel like a hot meal they would do me something else all we had...

The island, the place, and the accommodation are wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling and very helpful no matter what your question is. The lady at the reception is a true angel, and the guys are extremely attentive. The kittens are very cute, and I can honestly only recommend this place. ❤️ P.s. A wonderful week at Castro hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is kind and helpful whenever is needed. Food is fresh and delicious. Everyone is smiling and it is the perfect location for families. At the pool of the hotel you can relax and enjoy the great holiday atmosphere. You may also find wonderful excursions. (Haris, a wonderful lady that can help you with these)

It’s easy to get to the hotel from the airport, just tell the taxi drivers the hotel name and they’ll know. Ride was 30€. You can also order taxi at the reception for a specific time during your departure, same price. You can extend your checkout if needed. We originally booked to stay at another hotel in the area and were redirected here last minute - so we were a little worried as we didn’t pick it ourselves! However the rooms are very modern and newly renovated. We found the double bed comfy too, which was a relief! Many reviews said they were two singles pushed together and always split with a gap down the middle - but ours was a proper double bed...

Great little boutique hotel just a 5min walk away from Heraklion centre. Rooms are spacious, parking spots are available, the service is great. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Amazing boutique hotel. Great service and very modern rooms. You can walk to Heraklion city center in about 10 minutes. Also, there is a free parking lot. The streets to get there are pretty narrow and the area around the hotel looks a bit shady at night (pretty dark alleys, abandoned houses). But in daylight you see that it is just a normal residential area.

Stayed for a couple nights and this place is great! Located within walking distance of the city center, with a lovely room with great amenities. The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful on many occasions, even giving up his parking spot on a busy night. One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs...

New hotel nestled in a fascinating area of the center just walking distance from busier shopping area. The room is well designed and has it all. Parking is very precious in this area. The staff at reception is extremely welcoming, professional and friendly. Would totally go back next time in Heraklion.

Lovely family run hotel only 20 minute walk from the city centre. Good, clean, spacious air conditioned and with storage galore this little hotel is a great place to stay. With warning: it is under the heraklion flight path, but then everywhere in heraklion centre is. I lived under heathrow, so it actually helped me sleep haha

The hotel is located relatively close to the airport and very close to the main city road. Rooms are spacious and there is air conditioning. Spacious bathroom. Can be difficult to get a deep night rest due to hearing the aircraft very close. The beds are regular in terms of comfort.

I loved my stay, this place is amazing, its one step away from the fantastic beach. The service is impeccable, all the ladies working on the front desk, are super helpful and nice, they were polite, and always supportive. They provide on point guidance. We had a beautiful room with a small kitchen and a big balcony. A small hob was supplied for cooking. The receptionists were always very friendly and took care of all our requests. The beach is just a minute away.

The room is small, bath also. The view is in the hill, no view just 2m. The pool is on top of the hill and the stairs are recessed in hill. It is far f from down town with all history. And on the evening a lot of crickets-like singing loud.

Great spot with great amenities. Kitchen area with all basic needs, Beds are comfy and clean, shower is good with good pressure and wash area is clean and very nice. This hotel is a little gem in a perfect location in Heraklion. The rooms are big, clean and there is more than you would expect. The value you get here is much higher than price. Decent hotel, plus is service team and furnished rooms, downside very thin walls. Heard the doors slamming 5-6 times and thought it was our door! Also ramp to the garage is very tricky steep and dangerous. If somebody is not using this garage, you will need luck to find an open parking slot as the alleys are small and tight

This is very nice cozy hotel! We stayed with our 9 months old baby and they provided baby cot as we asked. However they went beyond and provided changing mat and baby spoon. It really means a lot that they thought about our baby to have comfy stay as well! The room was nice, stylish, with comfortable bed. And they have greeat roof top area where you can enjoy sunset and where we had our breakfast....

We spent six nights at 7Rizes, the room was comfortable and clean and we really appreciated breakfast on the roof terrace. It's close to airport and you can easily walk to city center. Christina's mum is a really kind and caring person, my kids loved staying there ..... highly recommended.

Property was very close to the Archaeological Museum, which was great. The place would be better for 1-2 young adults than a family- my 2 kids said the fold out couch was hard and the sheets did not stay on the bed.

Overnight stay was good The property is in a good location very close to the archeological museum with good restaurants and shopping. Shower good but you have to manually turn hot water on and off. This is not hard. Please note there is no lift for luggage and beds were very firm. Overall room was quiet especially considering downtown location. We had a good stay and it is a very good value.

On the things to be improved, the bed was not particularly comfortable and most importantly we could heard loud talks coming from the hallways in the morning which was disturbing.

Comfortable bed, air con, mini kitchen, terrace, Next decade bathroom - so many options for how you want your water to come out for shower. Short walk to Heaven Beach and restaurant/bar. Other restaurants/shops on main road. So wanted to give this a 5 but just felt a little let down by owner/manager who was not particularly helpful....

The hotel is very beautiful, clean rooms,nice yard. The owner is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very nice. The mattresses were new and the room is cleaned every day. The price is also very good. We had room 410 and it was excellent. The air conditioning is working perfectly.
