The location is beautiful, clean, neat, and well mentained. I do not recommend room 203 because the position is right under the concrete arch and it is very hot at night but otherwise rooms are ok, spacious, well placed with air conditioning and balcony to every one. We liked basically everything. The location is very good: it is near to restaurants and shops, to the beach and to the bus. The facilities: the kitchenette, the small playground for children, the pool which was clean and nice. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Excellent staff, pretty good accommodations and location. We stayed for one night, had the ground floor apartment. Very clean and tidy. Was mini kitchen with everything you might need and there is a huge balcony where many flowers (in the evening terrific aroma).

We were dropped off by the taxi at the wrong hotel and when we arrived at the hotel Eleni Palace we had a great reception from staff. Coming away with two grown up sons we were placed in a family room and then the manager toldusweneededa bigger room and up graded us to a huge suite with an open balcony which has amazing views. Staff are amazing cannot do enough for us.

Cozy, simple and welcoming. Breakfasts are modest but delicious, the rooms have air conditioners,some apartments have a kitchen, and a balcony, though you have to pay extra 5 euros per day to use an aircon and 1 euro if you want to use a safe camera. The island, the place, and the accommodation are wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling and very helpful no matter what your question is. A wonderful week at Castro hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is kind and helpful whenever is needed. Food is fresh and delicious. Everyone is smiling and it is the perfect location for families. It’s easy to get to the hotel from the airport, just tell the taxi drivers the hotel name and they’ll know. Ride was 30€. You can also order taxi at the reception for a specific time during your departure, same price. You can extend your checkout if needed. We originally booked to stay at another hotel in the area and were redirected here last minute - so we were a little worried as we didn’t pick it ourselves! However the rooms are very modern and newly renovated. We found the double bed comfy too, which was a relief! Many reviews said they were two singles pushed together and always split with a gap down the middle - but ours was a proper double bed...

It was our first time in Crete and I had the most amazing time at Castro hotel and thanks to their friendly staff our vacation was without a doubt the best experience we could have had.I recommends Castro hotel from the bottom of my heart! Great little boutique hotel just a 5min walk away from Heraklion centre. Rooms are spacious, parking spots are available, the service is great. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Amazing boutique hotel. Great service and very modern rooms. You can walk to Heraklion city center in about 10 minutes. Also, there is a free parking lot. The streets to get there are pretty narrow and the area around the hotel looks a bit shady at night (pretty dark alleys, abandoned houses). But in daylight you see that it is just a normal residential area.

Stayed for a couple nights and this place is great! Located within walking distance of the city center, with a lovely room with great amenities. The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful on many occasions, even giving up his parking spot on a busy night. One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs...

New hotel nestled in a fascinating area of the center just walking distance from busier shopping area. The room is well designed and has it all. Parking is very precious in this area. The staff at reception is extremely welcoming, professional and friendly. Would totally go back next time in Heraklion.

Visited in March 2024 New, modern and absolutely gorgeous! Close to a fantastic restaurant! Staff was quick and very helpful and friendly. Room was sparkly clean with everything you could want at a great price. Stayed here 2 times while we were on Crete! Bravo!

I loved my stay, this place is amazing, its one step away from the fantastic beach. The service is impeccable, all the ladies working on the front desk, are super helpful and nice, they were polite, and always supportive. They provide on point guidance. We had a beautiful room with a small kitchen and a big balcony. A small hob was supplied for cooking. The receptionists were always very friendly and took care of all our requests. The beach is just a minute away.

Beatiful hotel that has recently been renovated so equipment and furniture is state of the art. Overall very quiet neighbourhood and a very good cleanliness standard. Great place, I went here for just one night in a single room. Very friendly staff, concerned about me getting safe at the airport at night. The room was simple, but very clean. Loved the old furniture!

This fantastic country hotel and the family who owns it is worth a stay. We dont want to go home and the term "hygge" is the definition of our holiday here. The room is small, bath also. The view is in the hill, no view just 2m. The pool is on top of the hill and the stairs are recessed in hill. It is far f from down town with all history. And on the evening a lot of crickets-like singing loud.

The location is great, right by the coast and the view from the balcony is also very nice. Despite the fact that the apartment is above the restaurant, it is still pleasantly quiet. In the apartment, I was a little disappointed by the shower (it was very very small) and by the kitchen, which was not equipped enough with utensils/accessories. Great value family run hotel with great views (we got a free upgrade to the best sea view room). Very clean. Generally great value for money and easy to get to Heraklion (bus stop next to the hotel). The beach is nice with the sun lounge service, but too many kids for my liking. Breakfast was good and was only €5 so good value.

Great location right by the sea with free umbrellas and beach chairs. Very nice and helpful staff. Great place for kids, the playground is right next to the apartments, the swimming pool was in the neighbouring hotel for free just couple meters away. Decent hotel, plus is service team and furnished rooms, downside very thin walls. Heard the doors slamming 5-6 times and thought it was our door! Also ramp to the garage is very tricky steep and dangerous. If somebody is not using this garage, you will need luck to find an open parking slot as the alleys are small and tight

This is very nice cozy hotel! We stayed with our 9 months old baby and they provided baby cot as we asked. However they went beyond and provided changing mat and baby spoon. It really means a lot that they thought about our baby to have comfy stay as well! The room was nice, stylish, with comfortable bed. And they have greeat roof top area where you can enjoy sunset and where we had our breakfast....

We spent six nights at 7Rizes, the room was comfortable and clean and we really appreciated breakfast on the roof terrace. It's close to airport and you can easily walk to city center. Christina's mum is a really kind and caring person, my kids loved staying there ..... highly recommended.
