Excellent quality hotel with a large and beautiful swimming pool, very comfortable rooms and professional and attentive staff. A true 5* hotel, a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Heraklion

This hotel is on the island and it can be said to be a very good living environment. The swimming pool is very beautiful, the breakfast is also very good, and the small bar in front of the door is full of atmosphere

Continues to the fun pool which is open from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, very convenient hours. Continues by saying that the hotel is sparkling clean and beautifully and elegantly designed

We were seven people in our group. We had an amazing stay over here very recently. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Though rooms are a bit small for our liking, they’re very nicely decorated

This was my first time in Heraklion. I stayed in this hotel for 11 days. My stay was very pleasant, the staff was extremely cordial, attentive and nice. Everyone was extremely helpful

we could not find a hotel in the southern crete, and luckly it is only one hour drive back to heraklion. this is the best hotel we could find in the souther area of keraklion.

One of the authentic hotels in crete island. It was built in 1964 originally. Hotel staffs are friendly and professional. Only weak point is GYM 🏋️‍♀️ facilities. Relatively small and lack of machines

Smell from the gym is not good

However once we got to the hotel they told us that they have one but only a very very small one, basically they refused our car and told us to park it somewhere else

The hotel is in an ideal location. But I would never call this a 5 star hotel the toilet was dirty the swimming pool was small. For 5 stars i expected alot more

All in all the hotel far exceeds the sufficiency, the structure is slightly far from the pedestrian centre, but there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away with which you can reach the small center where there are various shops and bars located here and there or with plenty of half an hour by bus with more traffic to reach the center of Heracleo, in terms of services and food the hotel falls within...

Very nice location close to Heraklion. There is hop on, hop off bus for sight seeing just in front of hotel. Hotel has pool, small pool with slides, it is close to beach

Food was very good through the day, there were also snacks on top of 3 main dishes. There was great animation program even for adults including stretching, aquafitness, sports such as volleyball, water polo

To make credit to other reviewers, the all inclusive options are a bit limited, but for our experience it was more of an advantage as we do not drink and (as a family with small kid) we do not really find joyfull the company of drunken partypeople

We had 9 fantastic days in te Dessole Dolphin Bay Resort. I think the price was worth it. The animation team was excellent, the food was delicious (the snack buffet at beach taverna was the best, the children loved it)

Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, beds are not very comfy, but hey, you won't be inside for most of the time. The beach is clean and equiped with free beach chairs for guests, beach bar is just a few steps away

The advantage of the hotel is that the accommodation is not in one central building but in many small houses located in a garden full of trees. Everyone has privacy and a pleasant environment on their terraces

When we arrived at the hotel before 10 am, we were invited to breakfast, which we were not yet entitled to, and a full table of postponed food was waiting for us, because breakfast time was already ending

At the end of the holiday, after the rooms were vacated, we were given a free room in the early evening after a whole day on the beach before leaving for the airport to shower and pack our luggage

Nice premium bungalows with plenty of space for 3 persons. Nice beach with free sunbeds and good service if you want to order drinks and snacks. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Very service-minded, and whenever we asked for something, we received a quick response. What we found slightly negative was the opportunities for working out

There were plenty of options when it came to food and our daughters really enjoyed the self service ice cream available! We were able to spend our time either at the beach or by one of the 3 pools (we usually went for the heated pool as the children preferred it)

We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful

From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome — warm smiles and genuinely helpful service whenever we needed anything

All in all, Hotel Agapi Beach Resort is a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy the sea, and be well taken care of. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Crete. I hope to come back here soon!

While I understand that, it is NOT what I paid for. My definition and passed experiences of all inclusives mean you put your wallet away unless you want to book excursions, extra restaurants or purchase premium alcohols

We recently stayed at Hotel Agapi Beach Resort in Crete and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations

Very good hotel, opposite the port, within walking distance of getting on and off the ship, close to the old town, museums, Koules Fortress, and within walking distance of Heraklion city attractions

Centered in old town Athens, this is a stunning hotel. The rooms were beautiful, the view from the rooftop bar were fabulous

It was an easy walk from the port (I arrived with SeaJets), and the public bus to the Palace of Knossos was waiting for me right below the hotel the next day

The rooms are spacious and the sunlight is particularly beautiful! The bedside cushions are really thoughtful and are changed together with the bedding for each guest! There is also a turndown service at night, which is standard five-star

Food is always fresh but may lack variety, but there is always something local next to the continental buffet. Rooms are freshly renovated and adequate. The pure sand beach is literally just falling down the stairs away

You can hear the planes arriving at the nearby airport quite well, but they don't bother me, plane watching can be fun 😀 Food is great as well! The a la carte restaurant that can be visited all inclusive once per week stay is a highlight, but the buffet has great choices as well!

Visited the Sentido Unique Blue resort with great pleasure. First and foremost the staff is extremely polite, helpful and above all good humoured

What makes it stand from other all inclusive resorts is that it still feels cozy and there is no need to rush for a beach or terrace bed

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee

The owners are giving their hearts to this business. They have the cutest dog also, who is very polite and silent. I feel like we have read so many bad comments which were undeserved for this place

Value for money! The location is very convenient, near airport, the city centre and the beach. There is a bus stop near the hotel, taking you to the centre free of charge

The best thing was the animation programs where there were darts, football and other sports. There was also a mini-board for children and the animation team was nice

GYM A good variety of equipment Now for the not so good although this is a must see hotel resort I would suggest avoiding peek season as it is over run with Germans and as us brits know from years gone by they love to get up at 5am and grab all the poolside sunbeds so be prepared to set your alarm and get up extra early as I did on one occasion only to find that when I went to the beds I'd placed...

SNACK BAR Chrisi at the snack bar is warm and welcoming and very polite and friendly also has a great memory for drinks and we did miss her on her days off but on her return the drinks went up another level

BEACH Clean sandy beach with ample free sunbeds a must is the sunrise from the beach. POOLS Main pool very clean excellent sunbeds and life guards on duty from 10am till 17

Just visited Apollona Beach Spa Hotel and experienced amazing spa services in Aegeo Spa. First day I did spa procedure with peeling, body mask and Cretan massage. It was increadibly amazing experience

We only stayed for one night but the people could not have been more helpful. The upstairs restaurant was superb with wonderful views across the Harbour and great food. Our bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable

An asset to the hotel was the friendly personnel, especially Maria at the reception. She showed professionally friendly attitude, very good smile and was ready to help with all questions. Certainly an asset to the team

For parking, Lato has a deal with the Heraklion port so you can park at the port parking lot for free which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You show your keycard to get access/entry to the parking lot

It was easy to do some exploring of the nearby streets and harbour from the hotel

The roof top bar was excellent, with very friendly staff and good (for the city) prices. The view was excellent, going across 270 degrees (at least) of the city including the entire seafront and ports

Breakfast was good with a small selection of hot items but plenty of unusual things to try including my favourite - four different kinds of syrup soaked fruits (similar to a glacé fruit)

Food Varies From Day to Day and everything is fresh. Hotel has private beach Just straight behind the hotel. If you are not looking for complex hotel with many attractions for Kids etc - this one is a perfect choice :)

Fairly new and modern looking rooms. Rain shower is lovely! We went for a regular room, which is quite big already, plenty of space, TV, mini fridge, 2 person bed (2 single beds), desk, balcony

Bus stop in front of hotel, which goes directly to Heraklion. The restaurant/bar/tavern that is located against the hotel has good food as well. Definitely recommend this hotel

The nicest personnel I have ever met in a hotel. And we weren’t even staying there. We just asked for their help and they helped us with a smile. It was a great pleasure!
