Staff are so helpful. Rooms are immaculate. Nothing is too much trouble. Herbs Garden restaurant has the best staff and food is excellent. Portions are generous and the half board option has a good selection across the 3 courses offered. Breakfast offers a great choice and is served from 7 till 10.30 which suits what you are doing.

Nice boutique hotel, well located within walking distance from all amusement spots. Excellent view from the roof garden on the port and old fortress. I stayed at the annex and had no issues. I visited in the off season so prices were super cheap. The annex has no front desk so checking in is across the street at the main hotel lobby and so is breakfast. Wonderful hotel. Extremely good prices (in December) and wonderful staff. Clean rooms, perfect service. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had a hotel (and it was included in the price!!) They even had cookies downstairs that were always available.

Great little boutique hotel just a 5min walk away from Heraklion centre. Rooms are spacious, parking spots are available, the service is great. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Amazing boutique hotel. Great service and very modern rooms. You can walk to Heraklion city center in about 10 minutes. Also, there is a free parking lot. The streets to get there are pretty narrow and the area around the hotel looks a bit shady at night (pretty dark alleys, abandoned houses). But in daylight you see that it is just a normal residential area.

Stayed for a couple nights and this place is great! Located within walking distance of the city center, with a lovely room with great amenities. The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful on many occasions, even giving up his parking spot on a busy night. One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs...

New hotel nestled in a fascinating area of the center just walking distance from busier shopping area. The room is well designed and has it all. Parking is very precious in this area. The staff at reception is extremely welcoming, professional and friendly. Would totally go back next time in Heraklion.

Context for rating to balance the 5 star reviews. This is not a 4-star hotel. It’s self service studios which are nicely appointed and only partially manned reception. Visited in March 2024 New, modern and absolutely gorgeous! Close to a fantastic restaurant! Staff was quick and very helpful and friendly. Room was sparkly clean with everything you could want at a great price. Stayed here 2 times while we were on Crete! Bravo!

The hotel is perfectly located 5 min from the city centre in a very quiet district. The staff was very welcoming and gave us good tips for bars and restaurants. The room is large, well equipped, modern and comfortable. Definitely recommend this place to stay in Heraklion !

A wonderful experience! This hotel has a beautiful unique design, feels like it is absolutely new. The service is exceptional. Breakfast is made fresh for you per the menu that you choose every day. Naturally they saved my vacation after I arrived in Amoudara and noticed that my previous booking in the hotel nearby was cancelled. The service, the room, the food - everything was outstanding . This is a great family run 4 star hotel in Ammoudara, the beach resort for Hersklion. It is adults only. I had a twin room with a good, partial sea view, came with long balcony, with chair. Room reasonable size, tastefully furnished. Bathroom is 'cosy' but has walk in shower which I like and full size wash basin. I was on 3rd, top floor but water pressure was good and hot water came through quickly...

I feel conflicted about my stay here. The staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel was generally nice. However, my room was really nothing like advertised, and it was quite dated and dirty, with dead insects, black mould in the shower, beard hairs on the floor and more in the bed, broken curtains, broken toilet roll holder etc etc. I didn’t want to complain at the time but it was a very disappointing...

Ioannis was very kind and helpful and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. The place had charm and nice features also great location. However it loses a couple of points because both the rooms we stayed in didn’t smell nice.

Parking (Heraklion Center Parking) is approx. 300 m from the Hotel and they have a special rate for Veneziano Hotel which is 6 €/night.

Great place to stay to see Knossos, the museums and Heraklion old town. Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds, large rooms for a family of 4-5. The host Thomas so welcoming and helpful. We had to leave for an early ferry and he had prepared us hot breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs and sweet bread to go by 7 a.m. and reserved us a car.

Able to book last minute in a great room, and the staff were extremely helpful. There is no parking nearby, so they grabbed our bags out of the car as we drove by. Absolutely lovely decor, comfy bed, good location in the old town, on a quieter off-street. Could be improved if they offered a small breakfast (pastries, fruit, coffee) in the morning as they do have a communal kitchen area.
